Sensitive sweets is a little gluten, nut, dairy-free bakery located in a little strip mall. I went in because I was attracted to the huge«Gluten-free» sign outside haha. It’s very cute, clean, and simple inside. Cupcakes, brownies, cake pops, cookies, bread galore! and all completely nut, gluten, dairy free. Wow. Kudos to the owner who happened to be the person who was helping us(forgot her name…). She was SO nice and helpful, she even gave us a free sample of the pumpkin donut hole. People have to remember, this stuff doesn’t have butter and milk and egg in them so it’s not going to taste like the original stuff. For what they used, my bf and I thought it was amazing! Their mini choco chip cookies are SO spot on. The baked donut I got was moist and delicious and light. Because it was dairy-free, no bloating/tummy-aches after for me! yay! I also thought the prices were reasonable and will def be coming back to try their brownies and cake pops tehe.

Sensitive Sweets is top notch at customer service! Sensitive Sweets offers a variety of goodies and they are nut free, gluten free and dairy free. They did our wedding cake and favors. Those are my favorite, but everything I’v had is great. This is a better alternative to regular bakeries! I recommend the red velvet and thumbprints. They are delicious! They also are very community oriented and give back by donating to various events! Melanie and her staff are great!

4.25 I’m probably in the minority here, but I came in with my priorities all out of wack. I actually do not have any dietary intolerances; I stumbled across this place while on an all-encompassing search for the perfect soft, chewy gingerbread man during the holidays. I went to a ridiculous amount of bakeries(yes, including the ever-so-famous gingerbread provider in Newport Beach), but Sensitive Sweets had, by far, the best gingerbread. I can even feel less guilty about having 2. Food: — So great, everything I’ve attempted from here has been amazingly moist and not excessively sweet. — Sizeable selection demonstrates innovation in gluten-free/vegan/etc. baking. — GINGERBREAD x10. Service: — The lovely lady behind the counter is very sweet, will definitely work with you in regards to dietary concerns and is very knowledgeable. Ambiance: — Interior is very cute as far as bakeries go. Strip mall that it’s located in is a little run-down and unassuming. I’ve passed by this place so many times without noticing it because I totally disregard the plaza it’s located in. Don’t make the same mistake!

It’s okay for being gluten free not my first choice. They Are very pricey and Friendly as In «let’s be pushy and have you spend more money«hate to say this… If you have tummy problems this could be a place but like I said, friendly pricey and pushy. Plain bread. 1 – 10 I say 3… There is better gluten free out there. But very friendly!

Having gluten and/or dairy intolerance needs not be the end of your simple sweets pleasures. Sensitive sweets makes sure of that. Very cute store, great selection of cupcakes, great staff. I would love to see some seating space, and a more varied selection in terms of types of sweets offered. Vegan, gluten free crepes? Donuts? It’s a minute away from the 405, don’t hesitate to stop by, very easy to get in and out in no time at all. It does take some time to make up your mind on the selection… OR you can use my method — «one of everything, please» ;)

Allergen friendly gluten free dairy free gingerbread house kit! Need I say more? Love this place. All gluten free and dairy free. Very friendly staff every time I’ve visited. Love the selection. Brownie and peppermint brownie are amazingly gooey and not too sweet. My non-gluten free boyfriend loves the gingerbread man cookies.

I was so excited to find a bakery that offered dairy free cakes for my son. He turned one in November so of course we wanted to have a smash cake. I found Sensitive Sweets by doing a quick google search in my area. When I went to order my cake, the woman behind the counter greeted me with a smile. I wanted a simple 4 inch cake with white frosting covered in lime green sprinkles with a 1 on the top. When I came to pick up the cake I was told«it’s really hard to get sprinkles all around the cake evenly so I hope this is ok». Well, from the sound of that statement I guess striving for excellence isn’t something this business does. I was really disappointed at that point and running low on time so I just took the cake hoping that the $ 35 I paid for the cake was worth it. Once my son smashed into it, I tried it and again disappointment. The lemon cake was very doughy and the vanilla cream frosting tasted like it came from a grocery store cake. I think I would have been better off trying to bake a cake myself with no dairy than buying one from here.

Bree was very kind and informative about items being gluten, dairy, nut free etc., and the cupcakes and donut holes I had were absolutely frikkin awesome; so moist and tasty. I may find it hard not to spend my check there. Finally, a place I can have delicious treats and not worry about a slow and agonizing death. Thank you sensitive sweets

Sensitive Sweets has been on my radar for a really long time. I mean, hello!?! Vegan baked goods!(Not everything is vegan but most items are. Make sure to ask.) What took me so long to come here!?! Upon arrival, my intention was to purchase a bunch of goodies to take home. The gal behind the counter was super helpful and friendly. I always appreciate good customer service. She helped me select a good amount of items knowing that it would probably take me a few weeks to get around to eating them. Many of her suggestions were items that she recommended freezing. During checkout, she gave me a coupon for future purchases and encouraged me to grab a few samples that were out on the counter. I forget exactly what the samples were but I know they were chocolatey. I ate the samples once I got in my car and was very underwhelmed. I love chocolate but this one seemed to be weak. It was also a bit on the dry side. Possibly because it’s gluten-free and I’ve noticed that gluten-free baked goods tend to do that. So as you can imagine, I was nervous about my recent purchase. The good news is, I was super amazed by the Pumpkin Bread Pudding. Fluffy, moist, and an explosion of spices! Yum Yum Yum Yum Yum The Chocolate Cake Pop was underwhelming. The chocolate shell didn’t really do it for me and the cake was a bit on the dry side. I’m starting to think that I might not enjoy any of their chocolate offerings. But it is still pretty to look at. The Remedy Cookie Brownie Bar, also pretty to look at, was a bit boring for me. I did enjoy the aesthetics of the layers. However at this point though, I was not surprised that I did not fall in love with this. They have this cool item called Easy Cakes which are like push pops but with cake. Generally, the Easy Cakes are a fun concept but you really have to love frosting as the cake per frosting ratio is nearly 50:50. The Red Velvet Easy Cake was a tad bit dry for me. But I wonder if it had to do with the fact that I kept this in the freezer? To my surprise, the Seasonal Easy Cake was amazing! Is it weird that I can’t remember if it was supposed to be carrot cake or pumpkin? Whatever it was, the cake was moist, perfect amount of spice, I loved this! I also loved the Tuxedo Easy Cake. I was actually surprised that the chocolate flavor in the cake was better than the previous chocolate offerings. The vanilla flavor in the middle cake layer stood out too. Yum! Although some items are hit or miss for me, in general, I am a fan. Even though I was«meh» about certain items, the items that I did like were pretty«wow.» This place is worth a try. I may not go out of my way for this place but I’m pretty sure I would hit this place up again if I’m in the area and I certainly appreciate that a bakery that specializes in vegan baked goods exists. 3.5 stars rounded up!

Cake was absolutely beautiful! I just knocked 2 stars because unfortunately the taste wasn’t fantastic :(The cake was good, but the pastries weren’t my favorite. I was really excited to come in because I am deathly allergic to peanuts, treenuts and coconuts. It was great to try out everything! Unfortunately many things were just too sweet or doughy to my liking. I spent $ 50 and ended up giving most of it away. However, I would like to emphasize how important it is to have a local business that supports the allergy community, especially for those who have more restrictive allergies than me! Customer service was great and store was cute.

Have you missed out on the good things in life, such as cake, due to food allergies? Have you been forced to sit in a corner and watch your friends enjoy delicious sweets because of a food allergy? Sensitive Sweets has solved your problem. It offers baked goods that are gluten free, dairy free, nut free, and vegan. Not only are the baked goods allergy friendly, they are delicious too. I ordered a chocolate cake from here. When I went to pick up the cake, we decided to try a powdered sugar cookie and chocolate chip cookie. My boyfriend, who typically isn’t a fan of gluten free or vegan items, actually really liked the chocolate chip cookie. He had low expectations, but was impressed that the cookie tasted like most cookies. The chocolate cake was really good also. When I told people about the cake, they thought it would taste like cardboard, but it didn’t. Everyone ended up liking it. Since these are specialty items, they are more expensive than most baked goods. I paid about $ 45 for a small circular cake, which is much more than if I had gotten one from another bakery. I think the costs are justified because the ingredients are more expensive. For people with food allergies, I think the ability to eat items that they typically can’t eat is more important than the cost.

Sensitive Sweets is a gluten free bakery that specializes in pastries and baked goodies that are gluten free and vegan. Many people who have certain food allergies can’t eat any milk, eggs, soy, gluten and other items with varied health conditions. A good friend of mine is actually Celiac and she cannot eat any gluten what so ever. I stopped by here and got the Red Velvet Cupcake and the Lemon cupcakes. The Red Velvet was very good! I think its made from rice flour or some sort of non gluten flour, with a rich creamy vanilla frosting. It was a very tasty cupcake. The lemon cupcake had a very tasty sort of lemony whipped frosting, and the cake itself was really tangy. The cake part of the lemon cupcake wasn’t as firm or «dense» as the red velvet cupcake, but it was still pretty decent. The prices are a little on the high side, since it costs over 40 dollars for a dozen cupcakes. However, its hard for people with food allergies to find sweets and goodies and so you are paying more for quality ingredients. I haven’t tried everything on the menu yet, but so far I will say I am impressed with their red velvet and lemon cupcake.

Sensitive Sweets specializes in making freshly bake goods for people who have food allergies or dietary concerns. Their products are made without gluten, dairy, eggs, soy, and nuts. I was drawn to this place because I was looking for a vegan birthday cake for my boyfriend’s dad. As you enter the shop, there are shelves leading you towards the bakery. On the shelves are information and pre-made/packaged ingredients of different desserts for you to purchase. The bakery is also cutely decorated in pink and white which makes you feel all sweet and kiddie inside. The staff here are always smiling and helpful from the moment you enter and when you leave. They also provide you a stamp card and coupons with your purchase. Yay! What I ordered: Oreo filling cake with white frosting on top — the cake was A-OK and the frosting was too sweet Gingerbread Man — this was not very edible Pumpkin Cupcakes — the frosting was hard and the cake wasn’t very moist Chocolate chip Midnight Cupcake– you can taste the chocolate, but the cake part was dry ***NOTE: Make sure to eat the cakes, breads, and other desserts on the same day. It does not taste very good the next day. Overall, it is a great concept and idea that Sensitive Sweets is taking the efforts in making desserts healthier for people. It is just hard to make the textures and flavors on par with bake goods that are made with gluten, dairy, eggs, soy, and/or nuts. As Always, NOMFORLIFE!

Staff is very friendly and helpful. I felt welcomed as soon as I stepped into the store. They answered all my questions honestly even pricing which i appreciated. I came here to try some of their items hoping that I would find the bakery that would make my nephews cake and I think I did . I even found my New dessert place, their cupcakes were delicious but my favorite was their trail mix bar !

This place is walking distance! I decided to get my birthday cake from here not only because their desserts are so tasty, but because the staff was very helpful& sweet. The lady that baked my cake put her creativity into it. The cookies are delicious! It’s a little pricey so I don’t go as often as I wish I could, but when I do go, it’s always a pleasure seeing the employees smiling& knowing I’m getting quality desserts.

What a wonderful bakery! My fiancée and I have relatively few wedding decisions left to make before our August 1 wedding. The cake is probably the biggest decision left. So I started googling and Unilocaling to see which bakeries might be great options. Our yacht has their own preferred vendors, but half of our vendors are our own anyways, so I thought I’d branch out. When I Unilocaled wedding cakes, what stood out to me about this place was that it was listed as inexpensive and it was sort of healthy. I don’t have food allergies, nor does my fiancée, or 99% of our guests, but I like the idea of lower sugar and gluten free type of desserts which might not make me gain weight. Sounds like a win to me! We came in today to taste cakes. Brie, the very kind manager, cut us up like 5 different options and even threw in a cake pop since we were thinking the little kids at the wedding might like those. Our number one favorite was the cinnamon and sugar flavored. We also loved the lemon(way surprisingly yummy!) and what I think was a white cake with fresh strawberries and cream. These didn’t seem like they were anything out of the norm dessert wise. The red velvet didn’t quite seem like the sugar filled kind we’d normally had nor did the chocolate, but I still thought they were both excellent and moist. I just preferred the cinnamon sugar so much more! All in all a wonderful baker! :)
