This reservation is offering an excellent japanese food. We enjoyed a lot. Price was good too.

Wow! So i was craving something fatty and creamy but also sushi, so I really wanted to get the volcano dynamite again… haven’t had it for a few months. I came by, like after 2 months of my previous visit(which wasn’t too good) and comment, and I guess they remembered me! I received my sushi order on the house! Very impressed with the customer service here and the fact that they remembered after 2 months; I literally said nothing and was ready to pay! Impressed!

Came here cause of the Unilocal reviews however, I didn’t expect it to be that great, but I was wrong. I got spicy tuna roll and spicy Bulgogi lunch box. The sushi was very fresh. The box was great it only thing was rice was a little dry but everything else was great. My friend got a bowl with brown rice and chicken it was very yummy, but I can’t remember the name.

First time trying this place as a Togo order and it was a hit! I ordered one of the sushi lunch specials that contained two regular rolls. I got a Louisiana roll and spicy salmon roll and both were delicious. The Louisiana roll was cut into eight bite size pieces with a fair amount of crawfish and the sauce on top had a spicy tangy flavor. The spicy salmon roll was fresh and very tasty. I ordered 15 minutes before they closed and they were very accommodating. Will definitely be back to try this place as a dine in guest!

Food was delicious but there Is no actual Korean BBQ here… We drove all the way here and were disappointed when there was no Actual Korean BBQ that we could do on our own. I mean if you are gonna put it on your title, you should not be so misleading. However, the other food we got were pretty good. Just misleading and that is the reason for my review.

We came to this place for lunch with a little bit of doubts since it wasn’t one of the popular spots in K-town Dallas. But to our surprise, the food was very tasty. I had the lunch Galbi bento box. The galbi was grilled to perfection. The only downside is that it wasn’t served with banchans but you can ask for kimchi at no extra charge. There is also a free salad bar with house made peanut ginger dressing. If you don’t want to drive all the way to Royal Ln for your Korean fix, this would be a very decent choice.

:(They no longer carry a section of their dinner menu which were my favorite things to order here.(Mighty Rib). Go to place for a quick lunch the bento boxes are cheap and pretty good if you are in the area. The ume tower was pretty disappointing thou… All you could taste was the huge… HUGE puddle of sauce that was all under the tower. I’ve had towers before and I know there is sauce for taste. but this was way too much. We didn’t even eat half of it. 3 stars because everyone was nice and the food was decent minus the tower.

I went here with a friend for lunch. It was only OK. Nothing really stuck out with me. Maybe the bento I got was what was mediocre. I could try the restaurant again and try something else that other reviewers have recommended. My friend didn’t really like it and hardly touched his food. The location was very nice and the interior was clean and nice. The other reviewers have pictures that look good, so I might try this place again.

Great food lovely choice for such a quant little place The service is always A+ she is stunning in the details she follows, drinks always top off and the close attention to all things r so delightful compare to other service in the surrounding eateries! love the tuna tower or just a quick bento box for lunch… but people the reason we Unilocal is to find little hidden Gems like this! shame on me for I have been here 6 or 7 times and I’m first time to Unilocal it is today. It’s just when I always leave I’m so happy I can’t image stopping the good time to right a report but I now know I must.

Their lunch bentos were generous, and I like that =] Didn’t get a chance to try their sushi. The bento came with a california roll… which was ok nothing to write home about. This place has a lot of korean dishes which makes me happy that i dont have to drive far for a craving. overall WIN

I’m giving 3 stars because I’m in Ft Worth and not Aurora so the Asian population doesn’t seem to be as prevalent. If it was Aurora it would be 2 at best. Service was great and the sushi presentation was beautiful. The Korean food was a little bland and the portions are terrible for the pricing for what I’m used to. Over all a good experience but not anything like home. We will not be back during our Ft Worth visits.

It’s a small restaurant with a very friendly staff! My husband and I went for lunch. He ordered the Korean BBQ plate which was fantastic and cooked to perfection. I had a rainbow roll and a spicy tuna roll which were great. We are happy to finally find a restaurant that has good sushi AND non sushi options. It’s a win-win for us both.

Kal-bi was tender but under seasoned, too thick, with not enough char. My husband and I got the same entrée but he had about 50% more. The sushi was bland and the pieces fell apart(rice too sticky). Only one of us(out of three) got wasabi and ginger with their sushi. Food took awhile to come out. Miso soup was tasty.

Best sushi in town. Regular rolls i ordered were Eel, spicy tuna, and spicy salmon. All of them were super delicious, small amount of rice, fresh, and the sauce was perfect. Special rolls were Ume Roll(highly recommend), choo choo roll, and rainbow. All fantastic. Sushi: albacore was the bomb and tuna and salmon are super fresh. Very satisfied.

My boyfriend and I came here on a weeknight and it wasn’t busy at all, we got seated right away and our waitress was very nice. The restaurant isn’t too big but it’s not that small, there was plenty of room. It’s pretty much like any other sushi place, nothing too special but we did like our food. I really can’t remember which rolls I ordered. I even looked at the menu, still can’t remember. I really did like whatever I got though. My bf got the bibimbap, which was awesomeeeee. So spicy but I loved it. I’ll definitely order that next time. I live right around the corner from this place so I’m sure I’ll be back, I prefer Ume to some of the other sushi in the area but I always forget it’s over here! I drive by and never even look that way. Hopefully I’ll make my way over soon for another try!

Very good nice little place. Was nice not to have to drive all way to Plano to get my Korean food fix. The bulgogi box was yummy. I will return.

I have been to Ume several times and have ordered take-out several times(toddlers and sushi restaurants usually don’t mix well), and I have come to this conclusion: If you are dining in, you are going to have an incredible experience. The wait staff is great. You can interact with the chef, and the food is tip notch. But, if you are getting take-out, you might as well skip the high-dollared bill and get sushi at Central Market instead.

I’ve been here several times. I miss the original staff that was there when Ume first opened up. They seem to have a problem with keeping staff because I see new faces everytime! Anyway, I love the bulgogi. The bibimbap, korean bbq ribs, and NY steak are all very good! However, I get the bulgogi just about every time. The sushi is good as well, but I stick to the bulgogi. I have been getting my order to go lately, but the inside is lovely! They do not have a kids menu, but will do the fried rice for kids and charge half price.
