We come here a few times a year. The food has always been fresh & well-spiced. Today, the orange chicken wasn’t crispy under the sauce, the soup and egg foo young were bland and the tempura was just mushrooms and green beans. The service is always good, but I won’t be coming back in a hurry and certainly not as a special occasion treat :(

We have been coming to this place for many years. Tonight I am having Orange Chicken and Hot and Sour soup, but picking it up an taking it home to enjoy. The owner is such a nice man, just seeing him is a pick me up any day. I think his name is Herman. The Hot and Sour soup was great and the Orange Chicken was delicious. My wife had the green beans and thought they were the best she ever had. We will go back.

Not good. The service was very slow. We almost left because we had been waiting for quite a while but then our server finally came to take our drink order. The food was not that good either. Something else that bothered me was the ceiling seemed to be covered in gray insulation that looked like moss. Ew. Very disappointing.

We used to love this place, we had been going for years. We always loved the atmosphere. Their sesame chicken used to be the best anywhere. But in the last few years it has been nothing but crust, can’t find hardly any chicken whatsoever in the plate. That’s too bad, this place doesn’t get near as crowded as it used to. That is probably one of the reasons, not just the sesame chicken but the other fried plates are pure batter also. We think Pei Wei is taking a lot of their business because all of their dinner items have lots of lean meat and very little batter.

Had lunch today, the food an service was great. After the meal my husband gave the waitress his credit card and I said would take care of the tip. They were training a new girl that didn’t speak English very well but she was a hard worker. The other lady that was training her would go to all the tables and pick up the tips and left the tables for her to clean, jus upset me. Back to the credit card our bill came to $ 31.34 but they charged $ 36.04. I gave the training waitress $ 7.00 and the other lady $ 5.00 so that she would receive something. Why did they over charge our credit card, don’t get me wrong it’s a couple ago dollars but how many people are they doing this to. If you eat there and use your credit card please be aware of this. I love the food but I will not return because they violated our trust. Unhappy Customers

I hardly ever write bad reviews, but man this place was not good for food. The service was really the only thing I liked about this place. Our waitress was really sweet and got all our needs taken cared of in a timely manner and was always there to refill our water and made sure we were good. Place looked pretty clean too but the ceiling wasn’t too pretty to look at. The food however straight up sucked. Got the Peking Duck(whole) which is $ 25 and it wasn’t even worth $ 5. Meat was dry, felt like it was over cooked. Served it with a side of hoisen sauce and flour tortillas… yes like flour tortillas for tacos and burritos, NOT for Chinese food. It was bad, really really bad. Then even the rice was dry and cold. I love steamed white rice and I can’t live without it but this was bad! How do you mess up rice? Seriously??? We also ordered a noodle dish with black bean curd and tofu. Super salty. I had to finish my glass of water after having a small bowl of it. I’m sorry, I wanted to think it was good with the staff being so sweet but no, I never plan to come back here.

Do NOT go here. It looks authentic but it is the WORST Chinese food I have EVER had. And they served tortillas with the food!!! WTF Peking duck with outrageously horrible sauce, the ONLY Chinese veggies they serve here and they had a but taste to them and the MOST americanized Lo Mein ever.

First time for take-out today… Szechuan Chicken and hot and sour soup. Overall, I was underwhelmed… Szechuan was not flavorful, almost bland and a tad on the watery side, although I had ordered hot and it did have some(but not too much) bite. Broccoli was nicely cooked, and chicken pieces were small. Really expected a more flavorful dish for a restaurant with Szechuan in the name. The hot and sour soup had a great tasting broth, but HS soups of recent have been loaded with mushrooms, tofu, giving the soups both body and flavor. This soup was more akin to a broth only, and as good as the broth tasted, I ate little of it as without texture it fails to excite. Overall, would try again, maybe dine in and other dishes, but today I would have to say it garnered a «MEH, I have had better» at best.

Atmosphere is nasty. Since the dining area is gross, I can only imagine what the kitchen and employee areas look like. Food is okay. Personally I don’t trust this place. It’s old and needs a remodel.

I love Chinese Food, and really wish they would deliver where I live. This may not be the best Chinese food I’ve ever had but South of 20 I haven’t been able to find any better! I usually get the won ton soup and beef with green peppers.

I’ve only tried the orange chicken and peking duck here. I’m not a fan of their particular style of peking duck, but the orange chicken on the other hand is literally the best orange chicken of my life. Y’all should hear my coworker describe it when I bought some from him. He was just like man… it’s a million flavors in your mouth. Right on bro. Right on.

Good Chinese food. Don’t come looking for a buffet but you won’t be hungry when you leave. Most standard Chinese food but not as Americanized as most places.

Stopped in to grab a takeout order of eggrolls and wontons. They were the tiniest eggrolls I’ve ever seen, tasted completely bland, and so did all their pre-packaged sauces. I’ve never had sauce so bad. It was impressive. The wontons, I don’t even know what we actually got. These had no creamy filling, it looked like they’d put a strip of some type of jerky meat in the wonton, and fried it. I don’t eat beef, pork, or chicken, and as I could not identify what the ingredient was, I refused to eat them. My girlfriend attempted to eat one, her verdict was: disgusting, and no actual taste. We will never go back here. They seemed way overpriced as well, guess we should be happy we got away with less than $ 10. On a more positive note, the décor was cute and authentic-esque, best I can do. I liked the teeny tiny koi feature.

Went for lunch today after a year long hiatus. Hoped things got better. Didn’t get better. Five years ago, I craved this place. Today was my last visit — EVER. If you go, take a look at the ceiling. Filthy.

When I looked at this place, I was hoping for a higher quality Americanized Chinese cuisine. I felt like I should have just gotten take out. I went during lunch and had a lunch Szechuan pork with broccoli which is mostly broccoli which is okay for me but not my partner who is a carnivor. I also had a dinner Szechuan lamb which was standard as well. I tried both the steamed rice and fried rice and both were pretty dry in my opinion. The cocktails are very tropical looking with fruity things and umbrellas hanging out of them. I tried the one you’re only allowed to have two of. The setting looked kind of old school to me, but still classy. Service was good as well.
