Keeping this short because you’re prolly checking out the reviews while making dinner plans. It’s great! Go!!! I personally am a fan of the Hibachi. A show and food? Yes, please. The fried rice is awesome. And those veggies? I could eat them all day. Just a plate of veggies. Delish. Portions are huge. I never finish my entire plate. And the food is seasoned perfectly. Love this place.

My boyfriend and have gone to edohana(for sushi) about three times and yea it’s really good I really really recommend yes. The sashimi is nice and thick. We got the boat for two plus an order of yellowtail and mackerel sushi and we were beyond full. I recommend just getting the boat for couples, it’s so good and super filling!

I’ve only ordered to go from here. Service here is wonderful and speedy! My first order was great. On my second order, the rice was kind of tougher(not hard but also not fresh). The rolls I got the last time reminded me of old sushi rice that got heated up. My rolls weren’t inedible but I didn’t really enjoy them. I love the miso soup here though.

Our hibachi chef was fantastic. I would give 5 stars alone just for him. Great presentation, personality, show and the food was great. My 5 year loved it and instead of tossing the shrimp he tossed cooked egg to the kids. Great idea. Waitress service was just ok.

Great food, service, and fun environment. My family and I have been here a few times and love this place. I recommend anything done on the grill, I haven’t tried sushi but the options seem limited.

This is a sushi review– I get sushi to-go from here a lot! They have a great selection and it has always been fresh. I have eaten in the restaurant a few times and have never been disappointed. 4 stars because the ambience isn’t that great and their hours suck(not open for lunch on Saturday, hard to keep track of because it seems random, etc).

FRIGHTENINGEXPERIENCE! After being explicit about not putting mayo in the roll & sitting directly in front of the sushi chef, he did it anyway!!! I tasted it immediately. Thank God i never leave home without my Epi pen! This restaurant needs some serious education in the life threatening nature of food allergies!

Walked in this restaurant thinking we made a reservation but it turns out we made one at the other location in grapevine. We had a party of 9 and they still got us in and seated after a while. The food was very good and the cooks put on a good show when cooking!

Second time here. First time was for hibachi. This time sushi lunch. I must say it’s alot of shushi on the plate for lunch. Pretty tasty though. No dinner just fruits through out the day now. Great waitress, very attentive. Definitely will be back for more!

I had the Sushi I, and it was great. Good size portions for the money. I also had the miso soup, which was delicious. Service was just ok. Server was pleasant and polite… But a little slow.

It’s my birthday and its become a tradition to eat sushi. I have dined in at the hibachi grill and today I ordered sushi to go. We ordered the Rainbow Roll, Crunch Roll and Shrimp Tempura appetizer. The food tastes fresh and delicious. The shrimp appetizer comes with Tempura vegetables and 2 jumbo shirmp. Tempura sweet potato is the bomb!(Tempura broccoli, onion, mushroom, zucchini, sweet potato). I will say this is not my favorite sushi restaurant but its still worth the money. Staff is friendly.

This is the second time I’ve eaten at this hibachi restaurant. Both experiences have been pretty standard. There was nothing special but nothing bad. Both of the chefs that we had did the pretty standard routine and it was fine but there was nothing really too special about it. The food is just okay as far as Asian food comes, but that is to be expected at a hibachi restaurant. The focus is more on the performance than the quality of food. It can get pretty crowded during prime time so make sure to get reservations if you can. Overall the food is just average, the performance is just average, and the service is quite up to par. There’s nothing too bad but nothing too good either.

Our oldest daughter attended TCU soccer camp so me, my wife and our 9-month old had time for dinner. We did a search on Unilocal and found this sushi joint. We arrived and the staff was immediately friendly and inviting. Our baby was a hit and the star of the restaurant! The sushi was good. I liked my wife’s roll more than the one I picked, but she shares! The spicy edamame was extra spicy too. All in all it was a good experience and we’d visit again if an opportunity presents itself.

Edohana is just off of Bryant Irvin and can easily be missed! You turn in to the shopping center and see On the border, Lowes, Best Buy, Kohl’s, The Keg, and Mimi’s. If you don’t look back to see what’s behind you, you can easily miss it! We’ve been dining at Edohana for years. I keep going back and forth between 3 – 5 stars. Let’s see if I can explain this. I’m a transplant Texan and noticed that the DFW area is more into sushi than hibachi. Back«home» there is many hibachi restaurants, but very few sushi restaurants. I grew up eating at hibachi restaurants. We used to fight over our own left overs as a kid… even if you put your name on the box. Edohana has really good food, so it didn’t deserve 3 stars because it’s just not«ok». However, I am a fan of Edohana. It’s not as good as it gets for me(5 stars), but it’s as good as it gets in terms of hibachi for the South Fort Worth Area. unless I’m missing it somewhere! :) Anyway, Edohana has a seating area for sushi and a seating area for hibachi. The hibachi has probably 7 tables. I didn’t count. We have never had a wait there and if we did we sat in the sushi area. You can still order hibachi even if you sit in the sushi area. We had the kids this time around so we opted for hibachi table. We order our drinks and our food. You get soup and salad first. They have miso and clear broth soup. The miso is good, but salty. This time I got the clear broth soup which I think is chicken broth based? Maybe not, but it’s good and contains mushrooms and onions. The salad is pretty much lettuce with a few carrots and ginger dressing. I’ve had the hibachi steak, shrimp, chicken, and filet mignon before and it’s all really good. It’s cooked just right! This time I decided to get the Yakiniku. Their description read that it was beef marinated korean style. Google says that it’s basically the Japanese version of Bulgogi. This is my second time getting it here and wanted it again. My husband got the hibachi chicken and kids got the hibachi shrimp The meal comes with fried rice AND noodles. The noodles are awesome and the fried rice is good. I didn’t want all that carby goodness so I opted for extra veggies and no rice or noodles. The sauce! Where is the«shrimp» sauce as we call it back home? Shrimp sauce aka white sauce bka yum yum sauce. You can’t find it in DFW area from what I know except a knock off it at Lava Grill. My sister came to visit one time, wanted hibachi and called just about every single hibachi restaurant asking if they had this sauce. Edohana gives you mustard and ginger sauce. All very good, but dammit I miss shrimp sauce! Wow. this is long! The chef comes and is friendly. He does all of the typical shows seen at a hibachi restaurant. The egg roll, throwing it into his hat, volcano, fire, catching flying egg in your mouth.etc. He must have thought he was Paula Deen because he put a TON of butter in the food. He cooked our food and gave us what we ordered. Then, he said all done! He Cleaned the grill and left.LOL. No fancy show with the utensils. Edohana is a good restaurant and a fun experience!

The location is hard to find. I went for lunch and the service was really quick. Unlike most hibachi places I’ve been to, this place doesn’t wait to fill up the whole grill table before they send out the chef. While I was there, our grill and two other grills that came in after us were only partially filled when the chef came out. That’s definitely appreciated if you’re on your lunch hour. The lunch menu is priced great. The chicken is only $ 7.99 for chicken, fried rice, sautéed veggies and clear broth soup. My only complaint is that our chef over cooked everything. The chicken I ordered was a little hard from being grilled too long and the veggies became way too soft from being cooked too long. I’d probably give this place another shot. Maybe other chefs don’t cook their food for too long.

Great place! I planned a birthday celebration here and it was fantastic! The manager gave me and my group two options on where to dine. The staff was extra attentive and friendly. The chefs were hilarious and entertaining too! One of them got me with the fake squirt bottle trick! Ha! The hibachi was cooked perfectly and my sushi roll was to die for. Everything was fairly priced and we ended up with huge portions! My only disappointment was they told me they has flavored sake but didn’t. I’m a fan of regular hot sake so this wasn’t a big deal for me but just FYI. I highly recommend!
