I wish they had better service, overall everything else was great!

I’m not exactly sure how I feel about this place. I did love the patio. It’s all outside, its huge, its off the super hip Foch street. I picked this bar because it looked like a great place to grab a drink outside for the nice weather we were having. The menu seemed to serve up some tasty homemade cocktails. But I stuck with wine and my pour was generous. My waitress was very sweet and helpful… when I saw her. That’s sadly where my positivity ends. First off, I couldn’t find the door to this place. Which was slightly aggravating. It was all the way around the other side from where I parked. I would have thought with the very long lean layout of the building, and most of the parking on the other side there would have been more than one option to enter, or at least a sign directing you as to where to go. I don’t know, maybe I just missed it!(This is really my own fault and probably my bad attitude though from being stuck in traffic!) I am not sure where anyone really was when I walked in… because no one said hi. I seated myself, but no one came to say hi there either. I mosedy my way over to the bar, asked if there was in fact service at the seating area, and a-ha! Then I had a waitress… again who was very sweet, and brought me a wine list. But the seats… I’m pretty sure they had cigarette ash down in the creases. BLECH! My Pinot Grigio however, was a great big, chilly, crisp glass, so at least I was slightly happy there! I’d give this place another chance I guess. I think I was hoping for more of a wine bar feel, and since I hadn’t had time to Unilocal it(traffic, remember?) I just pulled in trying to make a call on-time. It’s very loud and looked like it was about to get very busy, and very rowdy. I’m thinking it’s just not my cup of 31 year old tea.

Food– ok Drinks– meh Service– sub par. I’m just not impressed by this place. My biggest complaint is that they allow people’s dogs to sit on the furniture on the patio! Gross! The seat cushions are in terrible condition because of this. They should be embarrassed.

The music is always great and sometimes they will have little events going on like playing beer pong. Little bonfire when it gets too cold The bartenders don’t give much customer service but they make a hell of a drink so you’ll be happy once you take a sip lol. It’s pretty crowded in there so I’m usually in and out. I never get there early enough to actually get a seat at the bar. Also sometimes the man at the door won’t ID everyone and that’s a problem to me. The first time just because I was with my friend I got in without showing my ID and they do that to other people too.

I really like the food and cocktails at Reservoir, and the service is usually above«ok» What gives it three stars instead of 4 is the fact that it’s always crowded, loaded with rowdy young college kids, and it’s SO loud. When I say«crowded,» I don’t mean that you have to wait for a table. On numerous occassions, I’ve had people knock over food or drinks from my table as they’re walking by. If the DJ is there, the music is turned up so loud that you cannot have a conversation with the people at your own table. BUT– the«cons» of Reservoir aren’t enough to keep me from coming back. I try my best to avoid weekend nights. Really good spot for late lunch or weekend brunch.

Food was really tasty here and as such I will give this place a 4. It is reasonably priced but the waitress that served us(her only table) is probably some of the worst service I’ve seen and I have worked in customer service since I started to work 12 years ago until this year. She acted like we were disturbing her buy being there. Never once asked if we would like refills on our waters. We were there for over an hour and I’d say an average waiter/waitress would check in on us 4 times besides bring food after the initial visit. She came twice. Normally I’m very forgiving but this was bad service. Seemed more interested in flirting with the bartender than taking care of customers.

What am awesome find. Superb and trendy sports bar with a lot of TV’S. They have a very creative and delicious menu. The brick oven pizza is amazing. Customer service is good too.

Sports bar meets casual dining. Indoor/outdoor seating. Interesting menu items(Cap’n Crunch tenderloins and Shrimp corndogs), that were very tasty! Lots of TVs, great music with good genre mix, but not too loud. Hawaiian piza that was a nice blend of sweet, savory and spicy … Good liquor selection, plus Guiness on tap –which is hard to find. Nice surprise and we will be back!

Unless you like having to deal with incompetent service avoid this place like the plague. I have never dealt with such terrible service(or lack thereof) in my dining career. The venue is the only reason I gave one star.

Horrible place!!! The Bartenders screw you on your drinks. we ordered multiple Vodka/Cranberries that were more like straight Cranberry juice! When we asked to return the drinks or even just get something else, we were told we couldn’t and that we would have to drink those before ordering anything else. Seriously?!!

Omg! I love all the TV’s, comfy Booths, and array of menu offerings. The waitresses were so sweet. Indoor/Outdoor seating(with misters if it’s Summer hot) Great place to unwind.

I’ve been here a couple of times. Both times, the service was so so. I always had to search out my waitress for another drink. The captain crunch chicken made me stay, other than that, i would’ve paid my bill and jetted.

This place is full of more douches than the feminine hygiene aisle at Walgreens. Bartenders are rude as hell, charged me for stuff I didn’t order, and the crowd is very uppity and«dudebro». I couldn’t get in the other night due to wearing flip flops. Cool, but if that’s a rule you should probably post it somewhere and not apply it arbitrarily and only to guys. It’s Texas, it gets hot. Flip flops and shorts are pretty standard in June! When you can get a drink, they are very overpriced compared to the quality. All in all, skip this place, it sucks.

Any negative reviews I read were regarding evening hours/bouncers, etc I was there with my husband on a nice weekend spring day. Sat on the huge patio which also has a fireplace. Huge venue but great service. Loved the menu. Great location too.

I enjoyed coming to Reservoir for Sunday Funday! It was a rare gorgeous TX day and the homies knew this place has garage windows that open up to allow us to enjoy the weather while still being indoors. The hostess and our server were all very accommodating and friendly. I like the layout and the décor. Lots of TVs, comfy and casual. They don’t have high chairs or changing tables if you have babies though. But I guess not that many people bring babies to a bar? Haha I ordered the strawberry mojito and it was good. I finished it! We had the lobster & crab dip and nachos as appetizers. The dip was good. I could really taste the crab and it had a little kick to it. The garlic bread was really good. I expected it to be hard and crunchy but when I bit into it, the center was soft! I ordered the burger and it was a bit dry, but I loved the jelly it came with. Sweet potato fries were soft, which I like, and they add something to their ketchup that gives it a different flavor. I can’t put my finger on it, but I like it. Overall, I enjoyed my time here. They didn’t rush us or anything and we stayed a while drinking and watching football.

Same ol Jerks at the door. Stood outside in line(patiently) while the doorman said«we are at max capacity, it’s a fire hazard… we can only let 1 in for every 1 out». I get that… makes sense… Then he let his 9 buddies all come in. And before you can defend them… all 9 didn’t have to go to the car… and if all 9 left, then they shouldn’t be counted as «still in the bar»… the fire marshal would not have counted them. It’s the reason I only come here when forced by friends on a big night.

Fun, outside tables, happy hour …what more could you ask!?! Great cajun shrimp tacos, happy hour $ 1 off beer and well drinks, and lots of choices for appetizers… outdoor seating was nice, fans running, sports channels going, and beat the crowd by showing up before five!!!
