I ate lunch a few times at Patrizio Fort worth with coworkers and really enjoyed the beautiful restaurant, and chic atmosphere. The food was good enough, but it is not the reason I’m coming back here. Sometimes a restaurant is a hole in the wall, the service is less than friendly, the seats are uncomfortable to make you leave as soon as you done eating, and the restrooms are a health hazard, but we crawl back again and again for that divine dish we like. In Patrizio’s case we are definitely not coming back for any divine dish. We come back for the ambiance. Their food is just okay and the only good word i can write about it is that it won’t disturb our experience. As much as we sometimes hate to admit it, the ambiance is a very important part of our dine out experience and in some cases takes the stage from the food. As long as the food is not bad it works for me. If the place is beautiful, other diners are beautiful, the service is exceptionally good, the location is comfortable, and food is good enough I will come back again and again.

Leaving 2 stars is kind. I was excited to try this place after looking at the menu online and having tried other great restaurants in the area. We were seated immediately with no wait. After 10 minutes of waiting for someone to come over and introduce themselves as our server, we had to flag someone down and ask who is going to be taking care of us tonight? Let me just say that was the first red flag of many. There were so many employees everywhere yet no one was working together and who knows where management was. No excitement or passion from the staff. I could understand if it was their first month but this place has been here a while and they have multiple locations. Anyway, we were told our server was in the back training someone. He arrived and did not apologize. Ordered a glass of white wine and it was not good. It tasted like it had been open for a couple of days. I should have sent it back. I had the lasagna and it was good and my husband had the fettuccine. My portion was good but his was pathetic. I felt bad for him and that he had finished his meal in like 5 bites. More than that we felt ripped off and not only by the food but by the whole experience. I would have loved to try the tiramisu but refused to give them another dime. Also would have liked a break down of how the menu is set up and pricing was really strange. I promise we are not hard to please and we left just laughing and shaking our heads because we had never had a date night go wrong. Do yourself a favor and go across the street to Fireside Pies(5 stars in my opinion). As for Patrizio we will never return.

We came here for beverages after a nice meal at LaFamilia; the patio was packed, the drink list robust and the dessert list mouthwatering. Pros: Service was acceptable, not great but certainly not bad. The wine was reasonably priced The drinks were strong The patio is smoke free. Cons: They were out of two white wines we ordered The bar is horribly under stocked

I don’t even know why there was a wait here… the best way I can describe this restaurant is that it’s like going to a nicely decorated Italian restaurant but being served Sbarros menu without the portions. Do not order the cheesy garlic bread — it’s dry and you get 8 small pieces. Definitely do not order the calamari. It’s $ 11 and you get about 11 – 14 thin, over fried rings. I had the grilled chicken salad and it was fine. The pizza my friends ordered looked greasy and cheap but they liked it.

My MBA program hosted a graduation dinner here for my class and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I’ve tried the location in Plano and this one was much nicer. We had a private room and fixed menu but I could see the entire restaurant was pretty busy. They were prompt with the orders and refilling our beverages, even though we had to wait a little while for bread etc. But that’s expected for large dinner parties. Overall the food was good. I’m not a huge Italian food fan but I liked my lasagna and my wife enjoyed her baked ziti. The tiramisu cake was splendid and not too sweet. Again, Italian food is rarely my first choice but Patrizio does it well.

I love this place… like a lot. The only problem is, I wandered into this place by chance and not because the outside lured me in. In fact, from the outside it looks like a cozy, sit-down pizza joint, with a cute outside patio. Once you walk in its completely different: there are 4 different large dining rooms with plush booth seating, chandeliers, a mural that covers the entire wall of the bar, all decorated in a pretty turquoise, cream, black and gold. Upon arrival there are always at least 2 people waiting at the host booth to seat you. Since I have had the pleasure of eating here a few times, I now request my favorite server, Leslie :) They have a decent wine list by the bottle, single glass could have better options, but between me and my husband we can always finish a bottle so it isn’t a problem. One of my favorites is the Barolo, a little pricy, but worth it! Since the food menu is incredibly well priced, we can spend a little extra on our wine:) We usually start with the Brucchetta– I love the tomato part but wish the bread was a little thinner. I have also tried the pepperoni bread– it is AMAZING… which is why I refuse to know how bad it is for me. The Swordfish special was delicious as it was topped with a lemon butter. I also like the Lemon Pepper Chicken because it it also topped with the lemon butter. For desert the Double Chocolate cake is my «go-to». It is extremely decadent and melts in your mouth. Any chocoholic like me would have to agree. I love Patrizio’s and will continue to dine here on a regular basis with their good food, good drinks, and friendly service.

This is a favorite go to restaurant for me. It’s always good food, good service and good people watching. If I go with my boyfriend we usually sit at the bar– With friends at a table or on the patio. I have never had anything on the menu that I did not like. My stand by choices are mussels, caprese or hearts of palm salad for an appetizer. Ravioli with artichokes, chicken lasagna or sausage cannelloni for dinner. We always seem to end up here for dinner on my birthday– which I think says something. The service has never been bad. I’ve been when they are slammed on Friday night and when it’s 3pm on a Tuesday. Same level of attention, my water always stays full, plates are cleared as soon as we are done with them and the coursing is always nicely timed.

Nice ambiance, good Italian food. Great place to spend time with friends. No push for check. Variety of pasta products. I really liked the pesto sauce with my meal. They also have Perroni birra.

Delicious Italian Fare!!! This place has awesome service by hostesses, bus boys who do not let your water glass get empty, and cheerful waitstaff. We had the mussels appetizer, the hearts of palm salad, and the August special white pizza. Definitely 5 star food at 4 star prices. I recommend this place to all.

Friends at lunch you cannot beat! But I might have ordered the wrong thing. I got the chicken and Portobello mushroom salad, and it was just boring. The bread was really good, but I felt like the salad didn’t have a personality. I think it was the chicken… just cold, and I got some tendon. Blach. Now…my friend got the open-faced ravioli, and oh my goodness it was amazing! However, she went straight to food coma and the gym after she woke up because it was so heavy! Service was nice… nothing spectacular but nothing bad. Would I go back… eh? Probably because I am easy-going, but I know the pizza is pretty solid so I would just stick with that.

Truth be told I rather enjoyed Patrizio, but it struck me that there may be a little bit of an identity crisis at play here, and I don’t really know whether that’s because the venue’s in the burgeoning West 7th area(where casual may occasionally run afoul of a little dressy). There was a pervading vibe that I’m still working on getting my head around. Here’s why. The entrance opens to a somewhat sexy bar space to your immediate right. I wasn’t there with that idea in mind, but if you wanted to sit and tilt a glass, you could do so here and relax upscale. In fact, it looked a little like a posh hotel bar, and this is coming from someone who appreciates the trappings of upscale hotel bars. We sat in the dining room, sprinkled with conversations from jazz artists over the PA and replete with walls adorned with the suggestion of Italian frescoes and statues. Across the venue, in the sunlight, a gentleman dined in a suit, so I wasn’t entirely sure whether we had happened into a more refined environment on accident, a situation belied to a degree by the patio outside, which seemed downright laid back by comparison. The service was solid. Ultimately, I ordered the Penne Caprese, penne pasta tossed with asparagus, fresh tomatoes, almonds, parmesan, garlic and basil in a light white wine and lemon butter sauce. While I was initially concerned that this might not constitute a full meal, I was plenty full when we wrapped. I wanna head back and try the bar, but I’ll consider the rest of this a fine start. A start that make make the most sense in context with a future visit.

This will become one of my new haunts in Fort Worth. Beautifully designed space, welcoming and friendly staff… and ohhhhhhhhhhhh the food – very good. It does its Dallas roots proper by bringing a touch of class to Fort Worth.

There has been a lot of development recently along 7th Street this past year. Some have succeeded, while some have already gone under(e.g. Delaney’s Pub). I ended up at Patrizio’s for lunch on a recent Monday because a suprising number of the other restaurants in the area were closed for lunch on Monday(???). We were seated fairly quickly, but the experience was downhill from there. Service was spotty, and the meal took forever to make its way to our table. Also, when the soup I ordered came out, it was not the soup I ordered. Rather, they were out of that soup, so they simply substituted another for me. Now, the soup was good(tomato variety with a subtle smokey quality), but that’s not the point. Unfortunately, it was the highlight of the meal, which is never a good sign. The ziti I ordered, and which took about 45 minutes to arrive, tasted as if it has been sitting under a heating lamp since I had ordered it, the dried cheese clinging resolutely to the sides of the pasta like a needy girlfriend. On the whole, very forgettable Italian and poor service.

The food here is pretty good and reasonably priced. The selection of pasta dishes is impressive, and I like the two varieties of bread you receive when you sit down. I’ve only ever come here for lunch, and I never had to wait for a table. However, the wait for drinks, refills, bread, and food seems a bit too long considering that this food just isn’t that complicated. The last time I came here, my waitress was very inattentive. I actually got up and refilled my own water while sitting outside since I was conveniently sitting next to the server’s station out there. Overall, I’d come back if people I have plans with want to come here, but I’d never suggest it.

After the initial bumps at the hostess station and getting our table, we had a good meal and will return. The bad part was getting our table. There were 5 hostesses and a manager at the hostess station and they couldn’t get anything organized between them. We were paged for our table but it wasn’t ready so we had to wait. Once we arrived at our table it had not been cleaned or set up. The busboy cleaned and set up and we were good to go. Our server was good and she made up for the bad service during the seating situation. The food: we ordered a chicken and pasta dish, a salmon with veggies entrée, and a shellfish ravioli dish. All three entrees were great, with good flavors and sauces. We also ordered a chopped salad as an appetizer and that was good too. Wine list: they have several by-the-glass choices but even more full bottle choices. I didn’t study the wine list too closely but it was several pages long and seemed to have a good variety. The restaurant itself looks like it’s a high-end, expensive restaurant but the price point is typical with most entrees below $ 20. The noise level is loud and we realized this was because there is nothing in the décor to absorb the noise. That was one thing that I didn’t care for. Overall though, we’d return.

i really enjoyed eating here. i’ve only been to patrizio’s once before i read tara l’s review about dollar bellini’s during july. the decision was made. i texted my mom-in-law and my husband and i were off to 7th street. the restaurant’s décor is misleading because it’s a bit frou frou and it makes you think that the food is pricey, but it’s really not. the fettucini papagano is delicious! i recommended it to my husband, but he decided to order a special. needless to say, he was picking off my plate! we started off with the spinach appetizer and it was pretty tasty. i’ve never seen my husband eat spinach, or any kind of leafy green, and he enjoyed it. my mom-in-law ordered the ravioli and thought it was great as well. the bellinis were tiny, but very good. no complaints here!

You know. It really takes a lot for me to be turned off by service… i’ve been to PLENTY of places where the food takes a while or the server is a bit on the slow side. But, as long as they are friendly and the food is good, you’re alright in my book. That’s why its so unfortunate I have to write this review. First of all, i’ve been to this location many times. It’s within walking distance from my office and it’s always quick and the food is delicious, especially on a day like today(little chilly and overcast). So my friend and I decided to venture over, now granted it was 12:15 when we got there so the lunch crowd was just starting. The hostess told us it would be about a 15 minute wait, but if we wanted to sit in the lounge we could seat ourselves. Great. My friend even asked«is their waiter service» the hostess said«yes». So we find a lovely table and sit. And sit. And sit. After about 6 minutes my friend gets up and grabs some menus. Meanwhile, I believe the manager(with long dark brown hair, wearing a suit) was walking to other tables, handing out menus and taking drink orders. She even looked over at our table… TWICE before we went and got our own menus. So here we are, looking at our menu’s. Lots of other people are sitting and being handed menu’s promptly. Still no one has approached our table. I even tried to get her attention 3 times! So after roughly 20 minutes of sitting with our menus, my friend said«Let’s go across the street to Tillmans» I agreed. As we we’re leaving that Mgr was walking by, saw us said«Oh, PARDON me» with a rude little smirk on her face(and not trying to get our attention, but to move out of the way so we could get by). I think the thing that makes me the MOST angry was the fact that she couldn’t even come over and say«I’m so sorry for the wait, we’re swamped, but i’ll be back shortly to get your orders.» THAT would have been fine, but the fact that we were completely ignored, looked over and then smirked at when we left made Tillman’s that much more enjoyable! Our waitress got a nice little tip too. In sum, two stars, cause I like the food. Also, just because we’re not the same age as most of your other lunch clientele(mid 40s &50s), doesn’t mean we don’t have money to spend on a nice lunch. Ever seen Pretty Woman? BIGMISTAKE! Treat your patrons with some respect and stop acting like you rule the world, oh and get a new suit. It was hideous.

Patrizio has a great menu at very reasonable prices, in fact most entrees are less than $ 13. Considering the trendy location and«she-sheness» of the establishment I was impressed. This restaurant is definitely trying too hard in terms of presentation, both in the look of the food and the overall décor(for me it falls on the high brow leaning on tacky front… sometimes I don’t see much of a difference). At the same time, this is probably a GREAT place to take a date you want to impress without spending too much money. I could have done without the stuffy atmosphere, but we had a great waitress and I really enjoyed my crab salad(part of the January menu), and my boyfriend loved his tricolore pizza. I’m actually kicking myself for not ordering pasta, there are about 20 different varieties on the menu and I can imagine they’re quite good. But my favorite part of dinner was definitely dessert! We ordered the apple tart, which was accompanied by some vanilla ice cream and crème anglaise(and big enough to share!!!). It was pretty amazing, and worth a repeat visit. YUM.

Was looking for a good pizza place. This place is too upscale to make a good pizza. They’re too concerned with being different and not enough with getting the pizza right. The pizza was good — the cheese, especially, was good quality, the sauce was just right, and the toppings were all good quality. But what ruined it for me was the crust. It was cracker thin. If you like it that way, great, but I prefer a thicker, chewier yeast-raised crust. The crust just ruined it for me. I also didn’t care for the atmosphere. The name of the restaurant lead me to believe this was a fairly laid back place, but you go in and the waiters are wearing bow ties. It’s that kind of place. Fine if you like that, but not what I was looking for. I think they should drop the ‘Pizza Pasta and Vino’ off the name, it misleads folks.

You really can’t do much better than this in casual dining. The food has been great both times that I have visited. There has been no wait even during the heat of lunch rush and the place is already very busy. The service is top notch, providing plenty of time to select options, but are always nearby for quick drivebys. I had the baked ziti yesterday and really enjoyed the whole place. The cheese was perfectly cooked to ensure plenty of crispy and goey cheese. The plates are full, but not heaping, so you aren’t overly temped to each to excess. The $ 1 belini’s are good through the end of July and the bar is far more than any chain could think of offering. The place is perfectly situated and easy to get to with parking everywhere.
