Carolina Ale House

Walked in with my family for a quick bite, sat in patio area that nearly empty. We sat there for 15 minutes and the waitress walked by us at least a dozen times and won’t not even acknowledge us being there. She ignored us completely and only tended to two men at another table. Finally, the bartender had to leave her post and check on us, and then she sent a different waitress over to our table. So we order food, pulled pork nachos. They were pretty good but the chips were mostly crumbs that you had to use a fork to eat. We wanted nachos, not a taco salad! May or may not be back.

My husband and I frequent this establishment for its easy going atmosphere and great food. However, it cab be hit and miss. I used to love their tacos but lately they have been dry and disappointing. But! Their drinks are always on point and the appetizers are amazing.
If they increase their consistency they would get 5 stars.

The wings were delicious! Our waitress provided us excellent service. The food was delievered shortly after we ordered, much faster than anticipated because of how busy they were on a Saturday night. This place has an amazing selection of beer ranging from local brews to international ones.

This is now one of my most favorites. The burgers are the Best!!! The staff very friendly and fun. I enjoyed my date night with the hubby there. We will definitely be returning.

Went here for my dad’s hail and farewell sometime last week. Drinks came out in reasonable timing, but we all had to share menus, which was annoying for such a large group. The servers then proceeded to ask what our orders were, but as we had been sharing menus, most of us had not been able to see a menu to decide. The server stood by until we kindly requested that she go get more menus, then we placed our orders. We had to ask for napkins, and silverware, and the service was fairly slow. I’m assuming we weren’t their only tables, which is understandable being a waitress myself. But generally silverware comes first. It also felt like once the servers left, we would never see them again. A quick check-​in makes all the difference. The food was not bad at all, loved the burgers, and the beer was agreed to be good all around the table. If service were to step up, this would be an even better place. Overall, not bad.

We visited for the first time today and were very pleased with the food and service. Amanda was our professional and courteous waitress for the dinner. She checked in on us multiple times throughout the meal. It seemed that everyone was working really well together, even though it was quite busy and a special events was outside. The manager even came by to check in during the meal.
I had the veggie pizza and it was delicious. I would definitely order it again. The sweet potato fries were also good. My friend had one of the wraps and really enjoyed it. They had a huge beer/​drinks menu, although I was a bit disappointed that they didn’t have any lambics listed. The cider was still good though, especially with the pizza.

Delicious pub burger with buttered and toasted bun, delicious cheese and crispy bacon and onion straws. The thick fries are battered lightly and are wonderful! Great service and decent craft beer selection. We’ll be back!

I went there not long ago. My friend was having a going away dinner and I paid for her food and her husbands food. I didn’t get anything for myself. A regular customer comes up to me yelling about no tip. Turns out the waiter complained to a customer about me not leaving a tip. Unprofessional!

I came here with a friend and it was my first time since I don’t frequent restaurants like this.
The second time I recommended a group drop here because I like the burger and fries I got.
The group had waited on their orders for awhile. I ordered the same thing as well as another person and we waited on fries but got our burger first although I would’ve preferred it together. The food is good but I couldn’t help but notice how the service was. My last visit I left very disappointed. It took forever for the waitress to drop by and take my order plus order my drink. The food was good as usual but again I waited forever for my receipt. When it was addressed it never came and a passing waiter ended up greeting me since I placed my debit card on top of my drink just to be taken so I could leave faster. Eventually I got my food paid for and left upset over the amount of time I wasted entirely. If I care to come back it will be if I can get it to go or someone cares to attend.

Sunday 8pm
The front staff aren’t the most attentive or the most welcoming, but our waitress was. She was good about checking up on us quite often and was friendly and efficient. The establishment itself feels a little bit dreary, probably because it wasn’t bustling, but it was loud anyway, with too much stimulation from the TV monitors located all around the room.
— Bacon cheese fries ($ 6.99) were just alright. When it gets cold, it’s over. Otherwise the fries themselves were delicious.
+ Frickles ($ 5.99) were great! I’ve been craving fried pickles for a very long time and this definitely hits the spot! Would come back just for this!
+ Carolina lemonade is the drink to get if you’re into girlier drinks, made with rum, banana flavors and other juices.
— Mixed berry tea was not as sweet as I’d hope a cocktail would be. I’d pass.
Basically the 4 stars are for the Frickles. I am a fan!

I love the food here, but the service is seriously lacking. We recently had an office gathering here and they had one waitress serving over 20 of us. Needless to say, it took forever and there were mistakes with our food. The restaurant is affordable, and the food is tasty.

I had a really good burger here, i think it was the one called pub burger. i can’t really remember the name but it is their house burger kind of. It was super delicious! The ambiance is okay, it’s just a normal restaurant/​bar. It also gets crowded on the weekend so you may have to wait in line for a couple of minutes.

Tried to eat here but they aren’t even open during their posted 11−2am business hours. I arrived at 11:30 what a fail this place sucks. Drives by at 11 on my way to another business and people were standing by the door then too.

Hubby and I went here last night for dinner. We were promptly seated and our orders were taken. Food came out and my husband said he had the best burger of his life! I had the chicken Pesto pizza which was delicious. I also enjoyed the «Hop» flight and then a $ 3.00 pint with dinner. Can’t beat the prices, atmosphere, or service! We’ll definitely be back soon. Maybe for game day!

Nice atmosphere and most of the time the staff is friendly. Food tends to be on the greasy side, but hey, it’s a sports bar. Great selection of draft beer and the pizza is always on point.

Well I guess I should start out that I came here for a working meeting with an agent. Greeted and seated very quickly. Ordered drinks and starters then waited 30 minutes for them to arrive. Come on man… how hard is it to pour a beer. My server lost big time points here. Dinner came and then half way through I finally got all the starters I ordered. Very late. Ate. Never got a refill on drinks. Food was ok but nothing to scream about. Service was a total one star. Never been so left alone in a food joint. Bill was under 40.00 dollars. Could not find a reason to make this place great.

Very bad service. The waiter neglected us the whole night while the manager, a times young girl, did his job for him. We didn’t leave and tip. That is how bad it was. The burger was not great either. Very dry

Nice relaxing spot to sit down for dinner. I wasn’t a big fan of the grilled wings but I’ve never had grilled wings so I have nothing to compare them to.
The patio staff were awesome and they have great beers on tap.

Worst dining experience I have ever had. Food was good, my server was good. But a female server who was apparently an army wife did nothing but sit at the table behind mine and gossip about everyone.
Talking about how someone’s wife cheated on them and then gave them aids. Not the kind of things I want to hear from loud wait staff while I’m trying to enjoy my lunch

You know, it wasn’t the best food I’ve ever had. Typical chain that you see here in town. That being said, the waiter was great, and was able to accommodate my difficult order. (Leave it to the pregnant lady to order something not on the menu).
I have to say their salad was pretty fresh and good. And the salmon was perfectly cooked, moist and easily flaked off with my fork.
Would I really go again? Prob not, its more or less a sports bar. But hey, it was a work lunch thing and wasn’t my choice, but I had a decent lunch. Nothing on the menu that is creative or inspiring, but it’s edible.
