Pretty good place, pleasant atmosphere, though with the AC I thought I’d freeze to death. Had the grilled ham and cheese, ham was great but barely any cheese. Five cheese mac ‘n cheese was fantastic. Brought home a piece of chocolate cake, it’s super moist and delishious. Slightly pricey for what you get. I’ll go back but not regularly.

First time here and have No complaints. It reminds me of another version of Panera Bread… but better. Food came out quickly. I had the bowl of lobster crab soup and a half salad and it was delicious. The soup was creamy with plenty of small meaty chunks. They bring the food out to you and there is quite a bit of seating. However, if you come during the 1130 – 1300 rush there will likely be a line to order. I will definitely want to come back and try their sandwiches.

I ordered the Turkey Sandwich with a side of the Strawberry Cake. The place was nice and you could see them make it looking fresh. I got my order to go and loved the sandwich. I rarely order sandwichs when eating out since I’m picky but this one was good. The cake was very moist and fresh and loved it. I’d like to try the pizza next time or another flavor cake.

Wow. Love the food and concept. They have the best Brownie i ever ate in my entire life. No crap. Always her the spicy shrimp pizza. Good salads not great. They are huge though.

Hubby and I ate lunch here today it was not packed around 1:00 pm so that was a plus. The cashier quickly greeted us and she was a doll. Great customer service with a 99.5 sanitation rating. The food was spectacular we will return!

Very tasty. Was impressed the greeting at the door. The greeter was very polite and went over the menu with me. The food came out super fast. I ordered the shrimp remoulade salad, which was plentiful and came with jumbo size shrimp, not the itibiti stuff. They also have ice tea sweetened with Splenda. #winner The freshly made desserts looked scrumptious, but of course I was too full to try. I will definitely be back.

Big fan of this place! One of my favs is the Greek salad. I have had multiple hot sandwiches as well which were very good. The cakes are outstanding!!! Especially the chocolate.

Everything I have ordered at this place has been absolutely delicious, and seasoned within an inch of its life, which is exactly how I like my food. PACKED with flavor. I want Newk’s to open on Ramsey Street so I don’t have to go to that God-​awful Panera anymore. It’s casual and it’s a WEE bit pricier than your every day spot like this, but it’s fantastic. I’ve enjoyed the sandwiches, the pasta and the pizza several times. A must-​visit. Please open one in the Eastover area! You will make money hand over fist! :-)

This is my new favorite lunch spot. I had a combo soup and sandwich for lunch. Turkey sandwich and potatoe soup. Oh how flavorful. The service was very quick and everyone was extremely friendly from the moment I walked in the door. Loved it.

This place is about to become one of my favorite places to eat as a quick lunch out or whatnot. Service is friendly and food is delicious.
For what it’s worth, I actually prefer Newk’s over Panera now. Their chicken is much tastier and has better flavor.

1^st time trying Newk’s. The food is great. Had the spinach & feta soup and the ultimate salad. The salads are huge.

They get a 3 star review only because the salads are good. This place started out well enough, but like most businesses in fville get a lackadaisical attitude. My favorite was their magherita pizza, which used to be amazing. The description on menu says «basil…» So on and so forth. So tell me why last two times I’ve given it a shot I get a cheese pizza?

I want to start out by saying how much I love the food here. My favorite dishes include the Newk’s Q, The Royal and The Black and Blue. All of their cakes are delicious too. My problem is with their to go services. The last time I ordered to go they forgot to give me forks and my cake. When I pay for something it irks me when I don’t receive it. Tonight I ordered a Shrimp and AVOCADO salad. Once I got home, so excited to eat, I realize there is no AVOCADO. How can they forget to put something that’s in the name on the salad?

Once again a very enjoyable casual meal in a very welcoming atmosphere. As soon as you walk in you can see how clean and well maintained this restaurant is. As we were reviewing the menu to decide which of the many great options we would select, the manager came over to see if we had any questions. This is a strong indicator of why this location does so well, in every visit the managers were very visible and proactive in making sure the customers were well taken care of and satisfied. When we decided the manager rang up our order and even made suggestions to save us money. He has done this everytime he has waited on us. The food was delivered in short order. I had the Cobb Salad and Mary had the 4 Cheese Mac & Cheese anf fruit side. Both met our expectations. The staff is very attentive without bring overbearing to assist you and make sure you have what you want. They are all very friendly and cheerful in speaking with you. When not serving customers they are busy cleaning, restocking and checking to make sure evetything is just right. Again a strong indication of the good leadership and management that sets this location apart. We always enjoy our meals and time here.

A better version of Panera. Had such a wide variety of items. The best are the ahi tuna salad and pepper jack crawfish soup.
The only down side is that it is a little bit pricier than your average Sandwich joint but totally worth it!

The service is impeccable and super friendly. The moment I stepped inside, the server/​cashier greeted me and walked over to me from behind the counter to ask if I had any questions or wanted to try and sample their soups.
There’s a cool round table with complimentary little snacks like sliced jalapeños, pickles, cheese, croutons, and breadsticks. Protip: the croutons are stale since they’ve been left out in the open but the breadsticks are an A+ alternative.
The food is tasty as well. Newts offers a variety of typical casual American food like sandwiches, personal pizzas, and soups. All are tasty and come out to your table hot. While I was chatting with my friend, a server more than once asked if they could clear our table or assist us, which I appreciated.
While I did enjoy the food and small things like complimentary bites of food, I definitely have to commend Newks welcoming staff.

I told the person working the front that I had never been here before. She was more than happy to explain the ENTIRE process with a great attitude. Food was a bit on the pricey side but the portions match the price.

I’ve never heard of this chain, but always happy to see some of the nicer ones come into town. Looks like the back of crosscreek mall is trying to get a face lift and attract some better stores! About time.
It’s reminiscent of corner bakery on the west coast, maybe a nicer panera. But it’s the same, order and get a number at the front counter. The difference is, they also have pizza and a larger menu.
I think they are still working the kinks out with new employees, but the staff are nice and make up for it on customer service. I really enjoyed the condiment island… They include breadsticks (really good, cracker like) and a variety of pickled capers, banana peppers, jalepenos, roasted garlic.
So I ordered the shrimp po’boy, which boasts a dozen shrimps. It’s grilled not deep fried which I enjoyed. However, the reason I knocked a star off was because it took a very long time to get our food and I counted my shrimp, they only had 10. If u advertise 12, you should get 12.
I love that they sell my favorite bottled water, aqua panna and also orangina!!! It’s the little things you know.
It’s a good add to the community and I hope they continue to do well. It’s inexpensive and hopefully once they work out the newbies training and such, a quick lunch spot.
