Smokey Bones Bar & Fire Grill

I’ve been there three times. The first time our waiter wasn’t great but the food was decent. The second time I sat at the bar and I would give that experiance a 5 out of 5 service and food was good. The last time I went they messed up the order (it was a burger) and my wife’s food was cold. I don’t know how because it got to us rather quick which was the weird part. I will probably never go back, it is too expensive for the quality of food and service provided… Which is a bummer because the place looks nice.

We have always loved coming here great food and wonderful service, we always get Bernice a great server! However just came in today they have a new manager and she lacks Customer Service looks like a very unfriendly place too work now!

Barbeque and doughnuts mmmm. Service is slow but the food is good. Pulled pork is outstanding. It can be loud which makes conversation difficult.

I try to refrain from reviewing chain restaurants but this was awful. I don’t know what recipe they use for the «buffalo chicken dip» but it was horrible. Not even edible! That’s really not a hard recipe to make so I suggest you all Google «how to make buffalo chicken dip» and try one of those recipes. The dip had breaded chicken fingers in it!!! WHO PUTS CHICKEN FINGERS IN CHICKEN BUFFALO DIP?
The wings left much to be desired as well! I wasted $ 20!

The most disappointing dining experience I have had in Fayetteville. Everything that could go wrong went wrong. It was very overrated. The prices for ribs were ridiculous so we decided not to order them. They were out of brisket. The waitress was ridiculous. She claimed to not enjoy everything I asked her about. She hardly ever came to our table. The food took around an hour to arrive. The places wan’t even full. To top everything off, my husbands burger came out with no bun! It very very upsetting. I do not plan to going back.

The house beer is dreadful, gave me a pounding headache after one pint! Otherwise it was ok. Kind of stingy with the fries. Bacon cheese burger was $ 13?! Décor was nice. Lots of TVs.

Afternoon atmoshere nice and quiet. I love their Brunswick stew. Tried the chipotle sauce with the Bbq sandwich. Delicious. I like coming here to unwind afterwork.

First dinner of my North Carolina trip. Seemed like a fun and packed place. We seated at the bar area for faster service.
We ordered the skillet cornbread to start. YUMMY! Probably the only reason I would return is for the conrnbread and that sweet pecan butter! It had a nice fluffy cake like consistency.
Then we ordered the Tuscan Mac and the combo plate of Brisket and St. Louis Ribs with a side of mashed potatoes and french fries (texas toast included). The meat was tender but did not have any particular flavor that really stood out and left a mark on me. I enjoyed the fries?
Overall the restaurant gave me a good experience but it could be better. The ladies serving us were nice. Needs to be more well staffed at the bar if it is full. One star down for that (time) and then down another star for forgetting the ribs on the plate when it came to us.

I enjoyed the skillet cornbread, but I also have a heck of a sweet tooth. I can imagine that for folks who don’t enjoy items that are super sweet, they should avoid the cornbread. The butter that comes with the cornbread is also cloyingly sweet. If you can’t handle insanely sweet cornbread that is kind of like a cornbread cupcake, run far from this offering. Me? I could mainline the stuff!
One of the advertised special drinks was unavailable, which was kind of annoying. Why advertise the drink to me in lengthy detail and not actually have it? Weird.
The dipping sauces (I assume for the bread?) were cool, and the table-​side credit card swiper seemed like a good idea that more restaurants should have. I went when it was super empty, so perhaps I got lucky.

Extremely rude service. Spoke to the management and was promised coupons and he never mailed them to me but it’s not like id ever go back anyways.
Their tables are rickety and it’s hard to feel comfortable eating. The waitress we had was down right awful and blatantly rude. I almost got up and left if it wasnt for my husband calming me down and begging to just eat and never come back.
When a waitress can comment about your looks and that you look older than you are and that she doesn’t need to card you but your husband needs to be carded because he looks under 30 and I look over 40 when we are both mid 30s then it’s rude. When I started to laugh and choke she quickly told me that her parents looked better than me in their 40s and that I looked old. Lmbo. Wow. Talk about having a good date night with my husband. Told the manager and he Fed me a bull crap line that he’ll make it right but it was a broken promise. Too much work for him I guess. Managers name was Justin. Thanks Justin for doing nothing.

Price: a little steep, but fair
I have to say the skillet cornbread was a bad surprise… it was fluffy and soft just like cake and way too sweet. If I wouldn’t have known better, I would have thought I was eating yellow cake with a little corn meal in it… and the butter was even sweeter than the corn bread.
I would go back any day for another sandwich, but stay away from the cornbread

The food was edible. For the taste and the price it wasn’t worth it. It was way too expensive and my «smoked» salmon was grilled but I could barely taste it anyway because it was covered in garlic butter. All I could taste was the garlic butter and it was over-​powering. The plate had obviously been sitting under a heat lamp for a while and took its time getting to our table which was odd since there was hardly anybody there. Service wasn’t great. This was my first experience here and I’ll never be going back. Too pricy, food wasn’t stellar, service was friendly but could have been better since there weren’t too many people there. Only advantage was that it was open late.

Excellent smoked wings. Cole slaw was tasty and so was the draft beer. Service was fine at the bar.
I will return on my next visit to the city!

Fried pickles for appetizers my husband and I order half rack of ribs with brisket broccoli, Mac and cheese. They serve you a decent amount of food and the passion fruit lemonade was on point. The waitress was polite and she checked on us frequently, the buffalo wings were pretty spicy but if you love spicy food they are the way to go. Enjoyed our meal looking forward to eating at the restaurant again.

Had a great afternoon drink and meal. Service was fine and my Steak and Spinach salad was very tasty. Let us not forget the drink the dragon Slayer.

Ordered housesmoke burger, it was huge. Had really hard time to finish it. Burger&Soup for the wife, she loved it, even though she didn’t finish it, maybe order her a kid meal for her next time. Also applied for a smokey bone’s rewards card, if you come here a lot highly suggest to get one, big save! Lol, will be back!

I visited this location back when I lived in the area for a birthday dinner for a friend of mine. This was the very first location I have ever been to where I picked up a corner of my full rack of ribs with my fork and the entire rib section of meat hit the plate. I spent a wonderfully BBQ-​soaked minutes spearing rib chunks with my fork and eating them. Funny how quickly your meal goes when you’re not worrying rib meat off the the bone with your teeth.
Great flavor on those ribs. I wasn’t a big fan of the fries but I don’t recall exactly what the problem was due to the length of time since that visit. A previous review mentioned something about bland fries and that may have been exactly what it was. I thought it was interesting that you could dial up your own TV channel from the table.
If in Fayetteville again I’d go back for the ribs. Indeed.

The restaurant was clean and me and my two friends were seated within a minute or two. I ordered a beer which took a few minutes but our waitress was very good about checking on us for drinks and refills.
The BBQ was filling and flavorful. (Delicious BBQ sauces). However the environment was noisy due to some overzealous football fans. Totally appropriate for a sports bar but this place isn’t a sports bar.
Service was good but not really outstanding. Nice place for some decent BBQ at a reasonable price.

So the first time I went to this place they served me a leather dry piece of salmon. They replaced it with some smoked wings which were really good but didn’t take away from the face I had to wait up to 20 mins for both of my drinks.
Now, let’s get into last night. I didn’t realize that this place was open until 2am until some friends told me about it as we were on our way there last night around 12am-​1am. Apparently this poorly managed establishment turns into an underage bar after midnight to include, get this, 2 BEER PONG TABLES. With all the loud 20 or under assholes that are playing it.
Don’t waste your time going to this place, they won’t waste their time caring that you’re there. I truly home this place gets closed down.

Ive been here a few times, but this was the first time during dinner time
We got seated pretty quickly, and the hostess was really friendly.
Our server, Rosie, was nice and easy to talk to, and was quick and efficient at taking our order.
She got our drinks from the bar pretty quickly. Btw– the Cucumber Hummer is awesome.
Our appetizer was out in under 10 and meals came out in under 20.
The food it’s self was delicious.
The pretzel bones are a great little munchie while you wait.
My husband had the BBQ burger and I had the pulled pork. Excellent flavor in both. The broccoli and fire roasted corn are the sides to try.
This remains one of my preferred places to eat in town. We will be back.
