I ABSOLUTELYLOVEBOONMATHAI!!! They have the best food in town. The food is very authentic and always fresh and hot. I have tried almost every dish on the lunch menu. My favorite dish is the thai chicken fried rice and the pad woosen from the dinner menu. The customer service is ALWAYS great. The owner and cashiers greet their regular customers by name. Even when you call they have your number programmed in the phone and will greet you when they answer. I love this place and it has definitely been high on my pregnancy craving list! TRYTHEM… YOUWON’T BEDISAPPOINTED!

This is given before I have even tried their food. Though it may be good so I shall soon find out, the customer service is AWFUL even before you walk through the door! There are so many handwritten signs of do’s and don’ts and more when you walk up to the counter of things like«end your cell phone calls and we will take order, spend at least $ 5 to use our bathroom, no refunds after food is made…» And so on. I work at a bank and we don’t even have these many rules posted. Just voice it to those who don’t have common sense and respect and let paying customers make up their mind about the food and not the atmosphere. Oh and to add the guy who takes your order announced«take out only» instead of greetings. WHICHYOUCLEARLYSEEONONEOFTHEMANYSIGNSONTHEDOORBRUH! And couldn’t answer a simple question of how big a large fried rice would be. Never mind this place I’m going to find Geang and never stray again.

This is my favorite Thai place in the area. There are so many but this is the best I’ve tried here in the Fayetteville area.

This was our first time in a Thai place, so I can’t really speak as to ‘how good the Thai food is’. The portions were large. I was happy with the taste of my Pad Woon Sen with pork — I had the sauce just a little spicy. The other dish was shrimp fried rice and was good. I really want to go back and try their green curry. We missed the lunch special cut-off time by just minutes, so I felt the prices were just a bit high. The dining area is a typical little Asian food place — not much $ spent on furniture or décor, but so what? The tables & chairs are clean & work just fine, and I’m there to eat, not look at art!

Food is authentic. Each bite of my chef special duck red curry was MMMMMMMMMM. And there are different levels of spicy you can request, standard for Thai joints. I usually don’t get the«Thai hot» or «Thai spicy» at Thai joints, and this place was no exception. I went with the hot, to make sure my taste buds could pick up on subtle flavors and aromas, since this was my first time here(real reason maybe I don’t got the balls to try real Thai level spiciness). The waitress is very very courteous and accommodating. She engages with each customer and ensures everyone was comfortable and pleased. Even gave a banana to a lil girl who wouldn’t eat her food(and her food was perfectly fine and looked damn good to me, hand it over!). But the prices… Uh a little high but with some justification because food is fresh and exceeds expectations in flavor.

The restaurant is really close to All-American expressway. Relatively clean and modern, compared to almost all Asian restaurants. The hostess was the most knowledgable, friendly person I have come across, here in Fayetteville. She informed me that hot means Hot, when I ordered spicy food… She wasn’t kidding, I literally started to sweat and I think at one point I cried :-P everything that I saw coming out of the kitchen looked phenomenal! But my food was the best. Honestly I can’t remember what I had, but it was a chicken dish based on her suggestion. I don’t see the price problem everyone was having, I got my dish and 2 cans or Dr. Pepper for only $ 11 I thought it was reasonable considering the amount of food I got.

I always choose Boonma Thai first for the Pad Thai and Pad See Ew. Compared to other local Thai places, the noodle dishes are the best. I’ve ordered the Tom Kai(lemongrass & coconut soup) and the green curry here and both were lacking in flavor. It seemed perhaps watered down. I’ve only ordered the curry and soup on one occasion so I’m not sure if it was an off day BUT the noodle dishes are so excellent that I will keep coming back.

This is the best place to eat in town and the price are much better than any other thai places in town. The owner and the cooks are so nice. They also have amazing Pad Thai and curry! Like come on if you know how Pad Thai taste like you wouldn’t complain. I read some of the comments below and some people are so rude. Pad Thai only have few ingredients and you want to take half of it away, of course it won’t be good and it was nice of the owner to tell you ahead of the time.

Came here a few weeks ago and had a pretty crappy experience. I was extremely disappointed after reading all of these positive reviews. The female working in there wasn’t very attentive and it wasn’t even busy. She was pretty rude about my request not to have meat in my Pad Thai and said that it wasn’t her fault if it doesn’t taste good. My wife’s chicken was mainly bread and barely any chicken. The rice was ok but that’s about it and the fried egg rolls tasted like it had mashed up baby food on the inside. We won’t be returning

While I have tried several different Thai food restaurants in the Fayetteville area, it’s my personal opinion that Boonma Thai is the one restaurant that has left a lasting impression. The sweet and salty as well as the spice levels are all well balanced. The restaurant itself is small with about 8 or so tables but the food and flavors are fantastic. The prices are very affordable. Whether it’s Dine in or take out whether it’s lunch or dinner they give you plenty and it’s all cooked fresh.

The prices are a little high, but that seems to be a constant for decent ethnic food in Fayetteville in general. The duck curry was great, as well as the crab wontons, however I was very disappointed by the portion to price ratio of the wontons. $ 5 for 4 incredibly small pieces.

I love their food. I got one of my favorite dish«Thai Basil» and so far it’s the best I have tasted in town. The lady is always very nice when I go in. I will definitely go back.

Mon-fri from 1100 – 1500, you cannot beat the $ 5.95 lunch special deals! I had pad Thai lunch special, came with two spring rolls… Pretty generous portion for the price. Lunch time seem to get pretty steady and the service could get slow but the staff is nice and food is descent.

This was much better than I expected. My daughter had the orange chicken, which had good flavor without being over powering. My red curry with beef was very nice, although a little thin. I got hot and will be trying thai hot next time. The beef was very tender and the vegetables were crisp and fresh. One of the better thai meals I’ve had in the area.

Perfectly priced, perfectly sized portion for lunch. I had the shrimp pad thai. Shrimp were very small(like salad shrimp) but the dish was very, very tasty. Best tasting pad thai I’ve had in town so far. Not greasy like some places. The fried spring rolls were good too. My only disappointment was that they didn’t have the fresh rolls today, and I was looking forward to trying theirs. I’ve had others in town that just didn’t hit the spot the way the ones did at my favorite place in Texas. Something has been missing… Mint maybe? Not sure. But I was looking forward to trying the ones here and was disappointed they didn’t have them when I called in my order. The pad thai was so good that I think this won’t be my last visit so I will just have to try them next time ;)

Tiny hole in the wall in a strip mall right under the freeway. The menu isn’t too extensive but it honestly doesn’t need to be. They have the basic items of a Thai menu. We moved here from WA where the Thai options are numerous and this is the closest I’ve found to that. The pad thai was flavorful and fresh and the entrees were served quickly and were definitely tasty. The Thai spice scale definitely applies here. Don’t try and get too brave, your mouth will regret it. Definitely worth a visit.

My husband and I have been searching for good Thai food since we moved to the Fayetteville area. Boonma Thai is the best in the area! We order from here at least once a month. Friendly staff, excellent food, clean facilities.

This place is definitely tucked away off of Raeford rd. I will take the first few sentences in trying to articulate where this place actually is. Ok so it’s shortly after passing the turn to Owen drive but not before the Mcpherson. Its a very quick right turn before some car wash place that i can’t remember the name of.(Hope this helps you, i had to call the restaurant because i missed the turn). As far as customer service goes, the lady who was there was extremely nice. She helped me with items on the menu and also talked me out of a few things. She has pictures for those who may want to see the items up close before selecting. Size– this place is fairly small. Before I went i assumed it was a true sit down restaurant but it seems more like a quick takeout place. It does have maybe 6 tables, not exactly sure but its not many, Prices– Prices are extremely good, lunch specials last until at least 2 i believe. And the quantity of the food and quality for the price seems to exceed the amount you pay! I’ve only been once and i wanted to try pad thai but the waitress suggested I try something basic since it was my first time having thai food. So she talked me into thai fried rice, I was disappointed because I was feeling extremely adventurous when I entered. The rice was really good and the portion was large, i tend to never eat all of my food no matter what the portion size is but its huge for less than 7 dollars. I do plan on going again but the waitress/cashier was very wise in getting me to select something more basic my first time; because even if I go back and try something and don’t like it, I wont discount the restaurant! Basically I like this place and as I type this review, i’m thinking about going there to grab lunch again :)
