Overall everything was pretty tasty and inexpensive given that they serve good sized portions. The ironic thing is that the 2 things this place is named after, noodles & dumplings, were also the 2 most bland dishes we had. Luckily we also ordered mongolian beef, the fish in oil & a curry noodle dish, all of which were very good & flavorful! We’ll be back, but not for the noodles or dumplings.

We did not plan to eat here, but glad we did!!! I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. I can definitely say the best Chinese restaurant in this side of town. Food was affordable and really delicious. The place looks a little bland but you clean! Just a little sprucing up and it will be much better! A little color on the wall and add few pieces here and there to make it look and feel cozier/welcoming. Staff was nice, courteous and attentive! Overall 5 stars and will definitely be back again with my whole family! I wish they do delivery. I’d be calling at least once a week!

New to the area and ordered take out. Ordered the Mongolian Beef, beef fried noodles, General Tso Chicken and pork dumplings with cabbage. We loved every dish we ordered and will go back again. The heat on the«spicey entrée» was a mild heat and did not take away from the flavor packed dishes. This place is worth a try! Did not give a 5th star due to not eating on site. Maybe next time.

Although they have various noodles to choose from, we ordered three different kind and find them to be quite bland. One of my friends was a vegetarian and she did not have much options to choose from since there was only two kinds of broth with the noodles. The setting was nice and that’s about it. Although we came in about 3 where there were no customers… We still had to wait whenever we needed something. Service was okay, food okay, setting okay… It’s an okay place.

This place was such a disappointment. The food was flavorless, the tempura was soggy, and all the sauces tasted the same. The service was horrendous. We had to go searching for our server for every little thing including silverware, soy sauce, dipping sauce for our food, water and we never got our water refilled period. Meanwhile the teen servers hung out at adjacent tables texting and playing around. The actual restaurant lacked any ambiance but that’s minor compared to the other things. The prices are reasonable but you can spend the same money at the teriyaki place next door and do much better.

I was excited to try this place out based on the good reviews but it was a total let down. Food was meh, service was absolutely horrible. We walked in on a Sunday afternoon, the place was empty with about 5 employees just hanging out at a table — no big deal, but given there were so many of them, you’d expect the service to be better. It felt like high school, everyone in hoodies and beanies, taking videos, etc. Chinese places don’t have the best track record for good service, but damn. Someone came in after us, ordered after us, and got his food first. 15 minutes later, my soup came out without any meat. It’s called beef soup, and they didn’t put the damn beef in it! I get mistakes happen — but seriously, there were 5 of them goofing off, no one apologized for the delay, and no one asked how it was when they saw i hadn’t touched my bowl when they brought our check. My brother got the walnut prawns, which was the only good part of the meal, but that isn’t enough for me to ever go back.

This is my new go to Chinese place and I’m so lucky it’s only right down the street. Sort of tucked away and out of the way but it’s worth the stop in. Very authentic and the food is cooked fresh and without preservatives. Friendly staff who are grateful for your business and show it with a clean place to eat and great service. I tried the broccoli chicken and I can honestly say I have never eaten anywhere that has given me such quality chicken and broccoli both in proportion and taste!

This restaurant is awsome. I ordered the house special soup with the braised beef with a number 2 sized noodle the noodles were fresh the beef was just like a braised pot roast and they were not selfish in putting a portion in the bowl the ingredients were awesome broth was off the hook and the service was excellent I I give his my highest recommendation and can’t wait to come back

Noodles are fine… we came on a busy day I guess that I got bad service… that the server never brought our dumplings(while other people did get their dumplings) but we got charged on our final bill. Secondly, we got a coupon that will get a free beef pancake. The server said they are too busy and they are out of beef pancake… while 5 seconds ago the other table just ordered a beef pancake and the server didn’t say the same thing. If you are not going to honer the coupon then why you advertise on the coupon website? This is small but definitely show the dishonest of the owner. If I am the owner and if I am really out of beef pancake, I will write a voucher to honer the customer the next time. This is how you do business. Never come back again.

This was definitely a miss for us, from the service to the food, and we will definitely not be going back. We went at lunch time. When we arrived there were a few dirty tables(that were still dirty when we left) and it was downhill from there. We had about a 10 minute wait for a waitress to take our order(there were three waitresses working). We started by ordering the fried pork dumplings, they were out. A dumpling house out of dumplings? We waited and waited for our food; we noticed that people that came in after us were getting their food. After a good 20 to 25 minute wait, we got the attention of one of the waitress, and she said«I will check on your order.» She came back and advised us that the original waitress had failed to enter our order into the computer. She takes our order and says she will put a rush on it. I ordered hot and sour soup and my husband ordered the egg flower, Mine was cold, and tasteless, and I did not eat it. My husband’s was lukewarm, and he did eat the entire bowl. We got our part of our order, but no dumplings. The waitress apologies and says she forgot to submit the order for the dumplings. We ordered the dumplings(again) and when they came they were steamed, not fried as ordered. So we wait a while longer. I ordered the tomato/beef, it looked like something that my cat threw up, and he rice was cold. My husband ordered the kung pao chicken, and while he ate it, he said he had, had much better. The icing on the cake, there was no offer for a reduced price on our meal.

We came here for dinner on a Friday night and I will say they need to have another waiter/waitress working. service was a bit slow but that’s because they had 1 guy taking orders, serving, bussing, and seating. That is a lot for one person to do even though the restaurant is a little small. We tried the pan fried dumplings, mushu chicken, beef and broccoli, and beef noodle soup. The only item that really stood out was the beef noodle soup!!! Definitely taking my family here when they come to visit — one bowl is HUGE for 1 person, recommend sharing for sure. I would like to come back and try the mongolian beef and the mapo tofu before saying«only come here for the noodles».

A year later and still wonderful, though the service is just as hit or miss as the rest of Everett apparently. I personally love the fresh made food and the fact you can’t take it home because it has no preservatives, the noodles soak up the broth perfectly for the same reason. I’ve had most of the lunch special options and none of them are weak, they’re just so much food for 7 $ at a place that charges 5 $ for the soup alone. The lunch special is a steal.

I’ve eaten here about 5 times now. I got the noodle soup with a large noodle and they were mushy. What brought me back were the fried pork and cabbage dumplings. Second time around I got the fried beef noodle which was fantastic. The General Tso chicken is great but lacking spice. I recommend getting food to go and paying cash. The waitress that wears the hijab is great as well as the younger guy. Twice I’ve had issues with the young girl. First she told me my custom order was fine then it wasn’t and expected me to wait to see if I liked my food or not. Second time she took forever to take our order but had no issue texting in plain view. Didn’t bring us tea, no refill on water, and never brought my sides for my lunch special. That girl stopped this from being a 5 star review tbh. Otherwise it is my fave place. They really should stock some sriracha tho.

Very traditional Chinese needle place. The broth is very flavorful but clear. The beef is very Chinese style with the five spice seasoning. I like it as it reminds me of home.

Well, the noodles were extremely fresh in the Lanzhou beef bowl. They were so soft and warm. Do not eat a lot of fresh noodles but this was definitely someone I have had. My server was a young girl who is very sweet and recommended that I get the fried pork and cabbage dumpling as well, so I did, and I was very satisfied overall it was $ 18.98 for everything after-tax. I can’t complain, because I had left extremely full and about seven dumplings in a take out box. The décor, is very boring, but has a few neat pictures of the Great Wall, and some Chinese culture. Definitely a nice place to grab lunch for a fare price! I will have to go back if I’m in the area again.

Came in on a very warm evening. They have AC; always a big plus in the summer months. Firstly, we ordered the Fried Pork and Cabbage Dumplings. They came 12 to an order. They had great flavor, the pork wasn’t fatty, and the dough was perfect in thickness. I was surprised that they didn’t come with a dumpling sauce. They have vinegar, soy sauce and chili oil on the table. Then we ordered the Salt & Pepper Spare Ribs. These reminded me of a pork chop that was cut into pieces. They were excellent; lightly battered, served with jalepeno and green onion. The meat was tender and full of flavor. Not too many bones. Finally we ordered Prawns with Sweet Garlic Sauce. These were very spicy and not at all sweet. If they say«Sweet» in the title, they should have some kind of sweetness. I think they forgot to add the sugar. There was a lot of sauce and veggies; mostly celery and bell peppers. All in all, I will be back; especially for the Salt & Pepper Spare Ribs and to try their soup. I like that you can choose your own noodle thickness.

I visited on Sunday during lunchtime when it was a packed house and a hot mess. In short, they were severely understaffed and the staff they did have on the floor were young and inexperienced. There was some sort of power failure in the kitchen so they could only offer the two soup noodles and dumplings. I only found out because I overheard. It’s good to let customers know when you seat them and hand them menus, not after you’ve sat them and they’ve been studying the entire menu of appetizers, wok items, Sichuan dishes, etc. During the time that we were there, it appears that many orders got mixed up, including ours, and dishes forgotten, including our appetizer. I wasn’t so peeved because 1) it was only a matter of noodle thickness, while the rest of the soup noodle tasted great; 2) I was hungry and they brought me food; 3) the young staff members were overwhelmed and I didn’t want any one to run away crying or screaming. Yes, I can be nice. The Lanzhou noodle soup really did taste great, albeit a little salty. The dumplings(cabbage and pork) were really tasty with the handmade wrappers and fresh ingredients. But, they’ve got to figure out a better system! Maybe have diners order and pay first then sit down.(Because I noticed people were not being checked on in the order they arrived.) Give folks a number card after they’ve paid to place at their table. When the food is ready have it delivered to the corresponding number. So, hopefully, no mix ups with orders AND people will get their food in the correct order. Oh, and invest in a rolling cart to deliver the hot bowls of noodles! It’s highly inefficient and dangerous to watch the young man walk one bowl of noodle out after another, after another. I really do want them to succeed. Food is great. Service needs a lot of work. Ganbare!

This is really great authentic Chinese. I came here for lunch on a recommendation from a friend who eats here regularly. The place itself was clean with plenty of room for seating. It seems like a family run place and the son seated us. Service from him was great. I got the walnut prawns lunch special and it came with egg flour soup, rice, and cream cheese wontons. What I liked best was the food was light and not heavy with breading and oil. I could taste the flavor of the food and didn’t hate myself after. Wife got the Mongolian beef and it was definitely the best Mongolian beef either of us have had. People in the know about truly authentic Chinese food seemed to go for the soups so I will have to go for that and the dumplings next time. I like that they hand make the noodles and you can choose how thick you want them. This is our new go to Chinese spot.

Hand crafted, delicious, and amazing noodles. You get to pick the thickness of your noodles, but there are only three broths. My husband and I shared a noodle bowl and there’s still enough left over for another meal. We also got the fried pork dumplings and those were amazing. Nothing left over from our feast on those bad boys. I was surprised by the hard boiled egg in the soup. It was whole and looked like a mushroom. I got sad, but it was still a tasty meal. ^.^
