Great authentic Vietnamese food with great service! Try the salt and pepper calamari. Best around.

Ok. Have come here numerous times. They don’t have the largest portions but the flavor of their food is very good. Finally had the Phở and the broth was excellent.

I’ve never been a fan of Phô. My mom brought me here since she has gone wth her friends and absolutely loved it. I gave it a try, the last time I had phở it wasn’t good at all. I seriously cannot stop coming. Seems like my mom and I are there every Saturday. Their food is delicious! Their service is great! And pricing is decent!

Picked up a large phở to-go and I was surprised at how big the portion was! This isn’t my first time eating here and I’m extremely picky about the restaurants I eat at, but I have to admit that I enjoy it here. Cleanliness, quality, portion size and customer service has all been great each time I’ve visited. Some other phở places are super dirty but here they don’t disappoint! I appreciate that they’re less than 5 mins away from my house, so that’s a plus!

I went in for dinner last night and was impressed. This restaurant is close to where I live and yet I had never eaten there. But, there are like 7 or 8 Asian Restaurants within a mile of my house. First up I ordered the spring rolls with shrimp and BBQ pork. They came with a spicy dark peanut sauce that was just right. Then I ordered the Wor Won Ton soup. I really liked it. The meat and veggies were just right and the broth was perfect. Just a little on the sweet side. I want to go back and take the Wife who was in San Francisco this weekend.

It’s close to our home and when my boys are craving phở, we come here. I always get their bun rieu and my boys get their phở and spring rolls! My family and I love going here. We come here so often the owner know us and our orders. If we could, we would eat here everyday.

They have the best soup around! Only problem is that they are closed on Mondays. #33 wonton soup. I put a little siracha in it.

This was the worst food I’ve had in a long time. We ordered takeout last night and got the chicken fried rice, chow mein, potstickers, orange chicken, and Mongolian beef. The chow mein, fried rice and beef were all the exact same shade of mousy, dull brown, glistening with oil, with literally NODISCERNABLE flavor. None. You could’ve blindfolded one of us and asked which was the«orange» chicken and which was the beef and I don’t think we’d have been able to tell the difference. Usually, I’ve found that, if anything, these entrees can be over-salted or too sweet. Not the case here. In fact, a couple of dashes of soy sauce was the only thing that made the chow mein edible as it was otherwise just a slop of noodles, bean spouts and meat sitting in aforementioned grease. I don’t usually go out of my way to review places(especially bad reviews, because things can be subjective and everyone can have a bad day/experience), but this time, I DO hope that I can save someone the time, trouble and money. I came on Unilocal yesterday looking for a good place nearby and this is not it. I’ll have to keep looking.

First time here … I rate it a 3 star. Broth was okay nothing special. Service needs to improve. I will come back though and try their full menu and update later!

I called in to ordered 3 phở dac biet togo and 1 rice plate, it took about 20 – 30 mins to be ready. The phở broth is okay, wasn’t the best. This place happened to be convenience and close to home. I don’t think I will go back for phở, maybe I’ll try some other dishes.

Went to Phở Dynasty twice last week. Norman said it was good phở, and it was my fault for not ordering phở at a phở restaurant. Can’t argue with logic like that! I ordered the chow fun(not good) and rice plate #82(also not good). I was not impressed.

I have mixed feelings about this place. My family loves this place, especially my little cousin. He gets so excited when I offer to take him to dinner and this is the only place he wants to eat at. He even dreams about owning this place one day and having the chef come over and cook noodles for him. Anyhow, I have been here many times and the food is good. Great flavor, well balanced and you can’t really go wrong here with the dishes that you do order. Everyone in the family usually gets the beef phở and I usually get the combination chow fun. I love the chow fun here, it’s greasy like it should be, seasoned properly with tender pieces of protein. On the last visit, I decided to disgust my cousin by ordering deep fried tofu, he absolutely hates tofu it to death. But I loved it so much I finished the whole plate by myself. Beautiful crispy, crunchy exterior and soft as your teeth sinks through the exterior layer into the middle. Salty and spicy and just so delicious. Must try, do try! Now here comes the part that I absolutely hate about this place, hair in the food. My aunt has found a single, strand of hair in her noodle twice on separate occasions. I would always make fun of her and ask her if the noodle tasted better. The lady that works here knows my aunt and would apologize and give us a discount. She tells us how unacceptable it is for a restaurant to have hair in the food and promises to keep striving to provide better acceptable food(I guess) in the future. So fast forward 3 – 4 months, I’m back from my little vacation and I decide to take my cousin for his favorite place. As I come close to finishing my chow fun, I am just shocked. My delicious, greasy noodle had a strand of hair swimming at the bottom of the plate. I push it aside and continue to eat. I just have accepted that if I want to eat at this place with my family, I will have to learn to love my food with strands of hair. Yum!

My go-to Phở place in Elk Grove is Phở Le, but have given Phở Dynasty a few chances since it’s closer to the ‘rents. Can’t comment on the phở, since I usually order the Bún thit nuong grilled pork over rice vermicelli noodles and spring rolls. The first time I went was when the place was still fairly new(2013 maybe?), and I wasn’t too impressed. However, I came in recently for a to-go order after 8:30PM and the interior looked really nice, clean compared to what I remembered. Food came out quickly, cashier was still very friendly considering it was the last hour of operation and I was a late walk-in. The meat was tasty, and the bun had some nice touches of peanuts, carrots, chili sauce, and green onion that made it pretty flavorful. I poured some fish sauce on top and ate the whole bowl. Much improved, but still a solid 3 stars.

This is my go to phở place I gave them a four star I love love love their phở and BBQ pork spring roll with peanut sauce. I wasn’t crazy about their fried egg roll, this is the very first Vietnamese restaurant that didn’t plate them with lettuce and vermicelli noodles and chopped cucumber for us to roll the fried egg roll in. Thai tea amazing wish they had lychee jelly at the bottom. Portions were good. Their salt and pepper calamari is addicting.

Okay so here are two things I really don’t like about this place 1. They lack real customer service with take out and dine in. I have been going here for a while and one of the owners never really makes conversation. Maybe it’s because I only order 1 or 2 plates idk. On my birthday he checked my id so I could get the buy one meal get one off deal. He looked at my ID really hard then at me really hard and just walked away. No smile and I felt as if I was trying to pull one over on him. Ya know I will pay for a meal rather than have you think I’m trying to get free food by lying. I don’t know where the other brother is but he was actually nice even if his jokes weren’t all that funny. 2. The food quality is decent I can’t really say much because I usually get the same meal every time I go. Please step up your game and make an effort to chit chat with your customers or even smile at them. Just remember a loyal customer might spend 8 bucks one day and 100 another ya never know. I’m having a graduation party soon, but I can’t imagine spending my money here for catering.

This review is for 5÷31÷15. Salty calamari and shimp/pork spring rolls as appetizers. The salty calamari was actually a bit too salty, but the waitress later told us that the dishes are made to order and we could have sent it back but that’s okay. Spring rolls were a little bland, maybe some more cilantro next time. I ordered the seafood soup(fishball, calamari, shrimp, and I believe there was some sort of scallop indicated on the menu but I did not find it in my soup) without noodles and it was served piping hot. It was pretty good but a bit too oily for my taste. I added water to my leftovers to dilute the oiliness. We felt a little rushed by the man who was helping out but the waitresses were nice and helpful.

It was nice to stop by for a casual lunch on Mother’s Day and not have to wait for a table. My sisters and I shared phở, combination chow fun, a rice and grilled pork plate, and a vermicelli(bun) dish with chicken and shrimp. The good: The phở broth was probably the best thing we got. It wasn’t bland or overly salty, just well flavored. I like it when I don’t have to add anything and the broth is already delicious. The meat to noodle ratio was ok, although I would have preferred a little more tripe and tendon. Mostly everything else was average – decent but not memorable. The rice plate didn’t come with a side of phở broth the way some restaurants do it, but I guess it’s not a standard practice. The meh: I was not a fan of the egg rolls, which were included with both the bun and rice plates. Maybe it was just me — no one else thought there was a weird greasy aftertaste. Service was friendly and the place was clean. Prices are a little higher than Stockton Blvd. restaurants, as others have noted, but when you’re deep in Elk Grove/unincorporated Sacramento County, you should expect to pay a little more. I figure I’m saving gas from not having to drive up north to where all the Vietnamese restaurants are at(and I get to avoid the crazy parking in some of those plazas). Would I return? Maybe for a bowl of phở if I’m too lazy to drive to Stockton Blvd or somewhere further away.

Update. Phở dynasty is still delicious… This time I got the charbroiled s chicken and it usually comes with rice but I was able to get steamed veggies instead of rice. I can’t be any happier. Easy way to stay on track with a diet. Sub rice for steamed veggies(or broccoli in my case) Thank Youuu!

Best goi cuon thit nuong(grilled barbecue pork spring rolls) their barbecue in general is by far the best I’ve ever had. My boyfriend loves their bun Bo hue with phở noodles(spicy beef soup) They give generous portions and are pretty friendly. Probably the best Vietnamese restaurant in Elk Grove in my opinion. I just wish they closed later :(

Came to Phở Dynasty because it was one of the few places in the area still open on a Sunday night. It was almost empty so we were seated immediately. I ordered the beef stew noodle soup and my friend ordered the chicken fried rice. It didn’t take long for the guy to come over with our orders and I was super excited to try the soup. But it was a bit disappointing. The broth was too salty and not as complex as I would’ve liked. However, the price was reasonable and the portion was so generous that I couldn’t finish. Beef pieces were nice and soft. My friend enjoyed her chicken fried rice. Service was okay. They checked up on us often. Overall, it’s not a terrible place. I could see myself coming back when I visit people in Elk Grove but I think I’d order something else.
