Most worst experience of my life! Derrick, he’s a server here has the most worst attitude ever, think he’s hot sh**. He cut us off, on one glass of wine each and gave us our check. When we ordered he was very pushy and trying to rush us, when he gave us our salads he served then with no utensils. This place was the worst when it came to customer service. I’ll never pay a dime here again!

We went there last night for the half off pizza, I do love their pizza and the garlic knots! I like to that the sodas come in a huge cup so you don’t really need a refill! The service is always good. It’s a bit noisy but that’s okay, great place for kids and families to eat and hang out watching the game. Bonus they give your kids pizza dough to entertain them while you wait for your food. Sometimes the wait for your table can be long so that is the only downside. I wish the restaurant was bigger. But if you et there before 6pm you can usually get sat right away.

I’ve always loved this location, knew the owner from when I worked at the WF down the street. My family and I come here every Christmas and they always take good care of us, and their pizza is DELICIOUS! Only wish I still lived close by so I could enjoy the half off Mondays. And of course can’t forget the delicious knots, both the savory and sweet are good!

I kept coming back to Pete’s Restaurant after my first review was posted. The place definitely grew on me! They have added a few full entrees which are excellent.

Some of the waitresses here are super bitchy, one time i ordered a pizza and when we began to eat it we noticed there was a thin film of PLASTIC across the whole pizza, um, not okay. So what Petes did was get us a new pizza… Thats all… The manager did not even come and apologize. Also they still charged us for it… At any other restaurant that would never happen. Also once I whitenessed an employee who was packing food for a togo order LICK HER FINGERS MULTIPLE TIMES! This place is a mess :(

When I lived in EDH, I only came here for their awesome happy hour deal. I only had their pizza, knots, and beer. It was all too good to make me want to order anything else. Well one time I had a salad and that was very good too! Definitely one of my favorite pizza places!

The general manager is on it! He was great with our kids and kept the place running great even when they got very busy! Highly recommended

I love this place ! Danny is awesome. Everyone here is super nice. Food is great. Perfect if you get there before a movie.

I stopped here on the way to go see my dad and I will say they have very friendly staff. Very nice and helpful. They recommended some things to me. The first server I had said he had only been there two months and hadn’t tried everything but out of the things he tried he said he loved all of them. He was very courteous and attentive he came by to check on if I was ready to order several times. He was off by the time I was ready and so I got a new server Amber who was also very nice. I was really impressed with quickness and attentiveness of the staff. The food was great. I ultimately got the free ½ order of knots that Unilocal gave me and they were so delicious! I also cup a cup of chicken and dumpling soup which was really good but I think I’ll stick to making it at home. I like thicker broth on my chicken dumplings but this isn’t to knock there soup it was still great I just prefer my homemade stuff better. I got the Hawaiian pizza as well and that was delicious. Love that it was with garlic sauce. Overall I was very pleased and stuff full of good food. I like other pizza joints better but these guys were still delicious. I’d come back just for the great staffing :) the good food is a bonus. Not many restaurants hire great staff anymore service always lacks.

Just want to say that this place is our go to pizza when we feel like dining in. It is extremely laid back, the service is great. We usually have the older women with reddish brown hair she is phenomenal (please don’t get offended with the older comment). I am 30 and I am old lol. But the food is always ON POINT. You can never ever go wrong with the garlic knots I recommended getting the full order, because they go pretty quick. Awesome service again and great food!

We chose to stop in for a later dinner this evening. We were greeted and seated quickly. We ordered garlic knots, steak salad well done, and a chicken deluxe salad with garlic fries on the side. Food was delicious and the service was prompt. Actually, our server Amber was awesome… friendly, efficient, and never let our cups get empty. It’s always nice to have service like that coupled with tasty food. It really made for a great visit and we will certainly be back.

Went to Pete’s tonight at 950pm. Told the grill was closed and we should have gotten there earlier but we could buy a couple beers. We asked the owner what’s up and she said the clocks are fast so we are screwed. Really? Thanks for nothing. I love driving 15 minutes to be turned around by a sob owner and her cronies. Thanks a-​holes

I wish we were allowed to give half stars since 3 is too low but 4 is too high… this is a good choice for lunch or a casual dinner.
Those garlic knot things are indeed great but make sure you get a full order since half order is too small.
The salads are really good and so is the service. I got the chicken salad with sunflower seeds and a bunch of other stuff… really good!

I have been here twice both times its been pretty good I order the pizza and soup lunch. The pizza is good plenty of food. Today was the tomato basil bisque soup its tasted like doctored up spaghetios sauce I like spaghetios so I ate it. My grandma got the BLT she enjoyed it. I will go back just hopefully it will be a different soup that day.

I’ve never been to Pete’s in sacramento, but I heard that it was good. I decided to try this place just before the movies. It didn’t seem too busy on July fourth but inside it was almost a full house. It’s pretty small inside. booths, tables, a full bar. We were sat next to the area where the servers would get their utensils. =/​The host was nice enough, she sat us down, gave us our menu and their list on craft beers.
The menu was pretty simple, one paper with things to order from both sides. One side had appetizers and salads, on the other side there were burgers, pizza, and pasta.
Our server was ok. Not good, not bad. just normal.
What we ordered: Sweet and spicy buffalo wings, The Italian garlic pizza, and Pete’s deluxe burger with fries.
what it tasted like: The sweet and spicy wings tasted like a water downed buffalo wing. No thank you. I love wings too. The Italian garlic was ok, I thought that the creamy garlic sauce could have been better honestly. So it just tasted like a regular pizza with pepperoni and sausage. And my friend said that his deluxe burger, although he ordered it medium well, it came out medium rare. hahahah, he said that his burger tasted like ham? That made me laugh, because i’ve never had a burger that tasted like ham, maybe dry but ham? No, never.
Would I go back to this Pete’s if i were ever in the area again? Maybe after I’ve tried other places and maybe just for appetizers and beer.

First time ever visiting a Pete’s.
My husband and I had a date night and felt like pizza and a movie. I’ve heard of Pete’s many times, but never actually tried the place!
Tonight we walked in around 5:00 p.m. ordered a couple of beers and some wings. We told the server we had time to kill and would be catching a movie later on. The wings came out and were outstanding! My husband and I love wings and these were probably top 5! Another round of beers and a couple of pizzas later, we were happy and full!
The waitress had just the right type of customer service, my husband and I have both been in the industry for 10 yrs, and she read our table perfectly. Not too pushy but was there when we needed her.
4 stars is only because of price. Regardless of how delicious the food was and the beers. It was pretty pricy considering the establishment and atmosphere. All and all the food was delicious and I will be back!

We had a vendor order pizza for a business lunch at my office and holy cow! The house salad was great, but the pizza! THE PIZZA! The garlic chicken with the white sauce was to die for but the veggie with the artichoke hearts with feta was my favorite. The crust was so soft and fluffy. Amazing!

Those who read my reviews I give fair and honest opinions and I don’t rant. I’m pretty generous. But, this experience kinda bothered me. Seeing that where this establishment is located, doesn’t seem that business doesn’t carry well in the shopping center. So I would expect, that for the businesses that are still there, will give the best customer service to keep business going. Well, as for Pete’s and my personal experience wasn’t too great. Yes, the staff (Hostess) were friendly and attentive. But once your seated, it’s all downhill from there.
The menu is not that extensive in which we need twenty minutes to decide what to eat. That’s how long it too for a waitress to order or Drinks. (Oh mind you, we came an hour an a half early because we wanted to eat before the movie we were checking out next door). So we said ok, they seem pretty busy, but not that busy… When the waitress bought our drinks, she then had the nerve to say that she will give us more time to decide… «Uhhhh, noooo. We know what we want, thank you.» Order is placed, simple American Burger and Buffalo Wings. Shouldn’t take too long…45 minutes later so no food. Movie starts soon, so we flagged down the waitress (Who has not been to our table since the order was placed) and requested that we have our food to go. So another 13 minutes, she brings the check and the food. She then apologized for the wait.
So yea, I am not impressed by the service or timing of this establishment. Not to mention my burger was dry. Sadly, I think we would have been happier with a Hot Dog from the concession stand.

Came to chill out before our movie started. Thought we might hit the bar for apps and a beer, but we were seated immediately.
Service is FAST. But that isn’t necessarily a good thing. We were offered to order our beers after being shown our table, they have a nice selection of beers on tap, but the when we ordered the server neglected to ask what size we wanted. There is a choice of pint, twenty-​four ounces, and of course pitchers for the beers on tap.
We received out pints, and our order was quickly taken. My fine wife ordered spaghetti and I ordered the «all american burger». The salad that comes with the spaghetti came quickly. Speed is job one here.
When I unfurled the napkin/​silverware wrap I was disappointed to find a knife which at first I thought was simply dirty, but on closer inspection is actually pitted with rust.
So while speed at first seemed the order of the day, when the waiter returned to «confirm» the order the fear of being late for our show became real. Remember we started with 50 minutes to go before the show. 19 minutes to go until our show… And a free side shows up! 16 minutes to go and no food… 13 minutes to go… No food… 12 minutes to go and yes and the food shows and wow it’s HOT.
We asked for the check when the food was delivered and that was done fast. Standard 20% because, but had it not been our unofficial anniversary I would have probably been less generous.

With so many pizzerias vying for the «best pizza» slot, its kinda hard to start differentiating between them all. Pete’s pizza kinda falls short for me, but I would by no means call it bad. It has the thick fluffy crust and variety of specialty pizzas, but I’m more of a purest and just like cheese and tomato. This last time I did try their version of a «purest pizza» but it was heavily cheesed, had a ton of garlic (and a ton of grease!) and barely any tomato.
Maybe I’m just too picky. If I could find a pizza place that served minimalist pizza (easy sauce, easy cheese, pure ingredients) I would be happy.
