Don’t come here if you have less than an hour to eat. I came here with my sister on a weekday night, there was about 2 other occupied tables in the entire restaurant. I’m not kidding, it took nearly 40 minutes to make a BLT and hot dog. I asked for no bacon on my BLT stating that I don’t eat red meat, and after the first bite all I could taste was bacon. Opened up the sandwich and both top and bottom slices of bread were slathered with bacon mayo + tiny chopped up bits of bacon. :(I was really upset but didn’t want to make a fuss over it. They offered me extra avocado for the mistake? Not really sure how that helps but okay. Anyway, it’s ridiculous how there were about 4 – 5 workers in the kitchen just talking and laughing while only one worker was actively making the food. There’s no reason why food should take that long to make and serve when basically no one is in the place. The two stars are for our server who was insanely sweet. I will not not not be coming back here.

I went to this restaurant for the first time a few weeks ago. It was a Sunday afternoon, and they were busy, so the service was a little slow, but the food more than made up for it. The burgers were delicious, Red Robin quality, but with a cheaper pricetag. I’d definitely go here again, just maybe at a different time when they aren’t so busy.

WORSTSERVICE on the face of the planet! Sitting here waiting for over 40 minutes for food! Server is nice, but place is understaffed and horribly managed!

Firstly, I’d like to preface this by saying that the young lady who took care of us was very friendly and took our order correctly. There was a large party at the time and I understand that that must be difficult. This review is more about food quality than service quality, but I’ll talk about both. My mom and I just ate here after a movie across the street. We walked in and sat down at the instruction of one of the wait staff. We then waited for about 10 minutes for menus. When we finally got a menu and placed orders then waited about 40 minutes to get our food. It was right when I leaned across the table to complain about the wait time that our food arrived. I ordered the BBQ burger and it was good. Very tender, tasty meat. The fries are where I had some pretty big quality issues. One was green. Green potato skins are poisonous, guys. Cut them off. Quality control. It wasn’t a green tint either. Think lime green. Very, very green potato. Not good. I inspected the rest of my plate and determined the rest looked safe and found something else a while later. I bit into a beautiful, golden brown, crispy fry and… tasted what I can only describe as turds. Not«these are gross fries». It quite literally tasted like someone dropped feces into the frier. The rest were delightful though, which is very stange. Due to the issues with quality and potential sanitation issues and some understaffing, I probably won’t be returning. I hope those fries don’t send me to the hospital.

My friends and I had lunch here and when we walked in we were the only ones there other than the three workers. That was clue number one. It’s a good thing that we were not on a work lunch hour! We had to wait over 30 minutes before we were served our lunch and had to ask for napkins. The French fries were not even hot! While we were waiting, the cook kept looking at us, which made us a bit nervous. We thought that if we complained he would sabotage our food! Other customers began coming in and they too were all wondering when they would get their meal! Please go somewhere else, I am a very patient person but this was ridiculous!

Dont ever eat here! Where do I start… Took over 30 mins. To get food. When food came my order was wrong. I ordered a double smoke house burger with salad, but got a single along with fries. Server took it back while my family ate. I was eating my salad i finally got after 15 mins, my family was done eating and burger still not here. Told server to cancel burger i’m already done. She took it off and didn’t apologize nor offer to comp anything for her mistakes. Worst service ever!!!

Well decided to try this place for the first time with my daughter today. Food was decent. Got chile cheese fries, milk shake. Mini hot dogs for my daughter with fries and chocolate milk, nothing special. Little one had to go to the restroom in the middle of the meal. When we came back all our food was gone?! Yikes. We barely had half of everything. They apologized and said it was on accident, they were already making more chile cheese fries for us and offered to make it to go. Which is totally fine, accidents happen. I wasn’t upset at all. I appreciate the offer but I told them we were already heading to the movies right after. It would have been nice to see some kind of credit on the bill?! I should have suggested it but would have been nice if they offered it. That would have been good customer service. Especially when it wasn’t an error on our part, but oh well I guess $ 20 bucks wasted on a half eaten meal. Now I know why we stick to our Denny’s. They always give us excellent service and awesome food for a great price. Most likely won’t be back here. Food wasn’t that great, edible but nothing special that I can’t get at a fast food restaurant.

I feel as though this place has been given a bad wrap. We have been here twice this month to use the kids eat free and been very happy with the service and food both times. Coming in during the week it’s probably different from the weekend, I get it, but they did a great job. We came in between 530−630pm no problem with a getting table, good service, or food wait time. We will be back for sure! :)

This place gets a solid one star Place was nice. And clean. There is your one star Sign at the front says wait to be seated, we stood there for a minute, with only one other table in the restaurant. All 5 employees were standing in the kitchen area appearing to busy. Doing what? the other table already had their food. We sat ourselves. Waited 5 minutes to be welcomed at our table. Server was awkward and quiet. Asked what he could get us tonight. We didn’t have menus yet, Lol. So we ordered waters and then he brought them with menus. It took 40 minutes to receive our food. We got it and all the food was cold except for the 2 years chicken tenders which were dangerously hot for an adult. Let alone a child. Next time out the chicken strips in first chef. Waited forever for our check and forever for him to come back and get it with our cards in it so I ended up walking it to him at the counter where he was standing This location needs to get a grip. The food would earn a meh– if it would have at least been warmer.

Been here a couple of times and don’t think I’ll be back. I’ve been to other Johnny Rockets and I don’t see how this place even meets their standards. Food is bland and the service subpar. During my last visit it took a while for a waiter to even acknowledge me and my family. I would have flagged one down but they were either not to be seen or quite a distance from us. They had electronic menus on the table and we thought we were to order through the device but it only contained shakes and desserts. The waiter that eventually came to our area went straight to others that arrived after we did and took their order. It wasn’t until another waiter asked if anyone had taken our order yet and he ended up waiting on us. During our wait we observed several of the tables were having issues … either not getting their food timely or their food not being cooked right. When we got our food my chili was basically a bowl of chili oil with some ground beef. You dipped your spoon into it and it would fill up with grease! I was given another bowl of chili that looked much better but after that first bowl, my appetite wasn’t the same. My husband’s burger was bland and the fries were edible. We left the place hearing one of the patrons showing their waiter why their onion rings were not properly cooked. After reading my review one last time I am probably being too nice in giving them 2 stars.

The Good: Nicole was our waitress. Very pleasant, courteous and genuinely cares about her customers. Always attentive with a smile. The food was good for the type of food that it is. The Not So Good: It was a National Holiday, Veteran’s Day and Nicole was the only waitress working at 2pm. Not her fault but this made for very slow service since it was busy and she was pulled to 10 different tables. The kitchen was slow and backed up.(Although there were 2 cooks?) Our order was a burger, chili hot dog, chicken strips, grilled cheese and fries. This took 55 minutes from the time we ordered to the food arriving at our booth. This is unacceptable. I also saw a women who appeared to be the«Manager» helping bus tables and make drinks… I thought her time could be better utilized helping take orders and get food out. We had movie tickets reserved at the theater across the street and we had to change our movie time because the food took way too long. Very inconvenient. Ironically they offer a 10% discount if you show your movie stub. Not much good if I can’t get to my movie in time. Maybe we went on a bad day with a «perfect storm»? But then again, it’s burgers, fries and shakes, not Steak and foie gras. But I gave 2 stars because Nicole was a good waitress, was very apologetic and gave us an additional discount for being patient customers. Under normal circumstances I would have walked out but my kids were starving and we were near the theater for our movie.

Well, NASA isn’t launching rockets anymore so apparently neither is Johnny. If you’re expecting rocket service, you’ll be very underwhelmed. It was really hard watching our food sit there ready for five minutes! Additionally, burning two out of three burgers didn’t exactly help this review. Yet amazingly, the fries and onion rings needed a bit more time in the fryer. Because we didn’t have two of the meals, it’s given me time to write this review and help you not waste your time or money. Have had good experiences in the past at other Johnny Rockets but tonight was not at all good. …Oh wait, my daughter just got back upset because there was no toilet paper! Good grief!

This was our first visit to Johnny Rockets at the Palladio. Nicole is a fabulous waitress who was friendly and helpful. Our burgers were DELICIOUS! Compliments to the chef! My husband had the mushroom and I had one of the specials-the teri/pineapple burger. I ordered sweet potato fries which were delicious and served with 3 choices of dips-it is so cute when the waitress«draws» in your ketchup little bowl like the photo below. Our artwork were happy faces and surprisingly, it was just enough to finish our fries! We ordered a strawberry and chocolate MALT(which you can ask for!!) and they were served in cute fountain cups with silver handles AND also the«rest» of the malt in the containers they were made in. My husband stated, «That’s it. I am never eating another burger unless it is from this place!»

My husband and I were very pleased with our experience at Johnny Rockets. Our server, Jacob L. was attentive, friendly, and gave excellent service. I ordered a milkshake and asked for it to be extra thick. Jacob L. personally called back to the shake maker to make it super thick. Bradley made the shake perfectly. Plus the shake was only $ 4.99! Good quality at a decent price. Jacob checked in often to make sure our meal was going okay. All the employees were friendly and personable. We will definitely be back! P. S. The grilled cheese is to die for!

I was a little surprised when my wife chose Johnny Rockets over the sushi place nearby, but I’m always down for a burger! We hadn’t been to any Johnny Rockets restaurant in literally 10 years or so. It was nice to come back to one and have a very nice experience. On the plus side, the burger, chicken sandwich, and root beer float were all on point. Absolutely solid and delicious! My burger may not have had the widest diameter, but the quality was there and it was stacked to a good height. As I ate it, the juices kept on flowing. The ingredients tasted fresh… absolutely no complaints. I’d have that burger again in a heartbeat. My wife enjoyed her chicken sandwich very much. She noticed it was actually comprised of two thinner chicken patties. Maybe for a faster cook time? Not sure, but she was a fan. And the root beer float… just right. The ice-cream in it was the real star. Exactly as it should be. The only negatives from our dining experience was that the restaurant was a little untidy. There were some tables that hadn’t been bused yet due to the place being short staffed. I wasn’t a huge fan of the fries either. They just weren’t crispy enough. That being said, the other food items and service more than made up for it. I’m very much looking forward to another return to Johnny Rockets. I’ll try to keep the wait less than a decade.

Stopped by on our way up to Tahoe. It was an okay burger, not the best, bit far from the worst. The egg bun they use is excellent, the beef was fresh, but overcooked for my tastes. I guess they only make it one way, since they never asked. Each burger comes with«endless» fries, but the trick with these, like Red Robin, is that the give you only a few fries at first. Then when you reorder, it takes a good 10 min to get them. By then you’re over it. Service was mediocre too, servers didn’t seem like they were into it. Unlike at the last Rockets I went to. Value was good enough. Not sure what else to say. There’s an In N Out nearby, but that place is over rated. Good if you want fast food and want to get a quick bite. Rockets for if you want to be served. Located in a nice shopping complex. Bye.

Standard burger joint Burger was good but a bit on the greasy side. Fries were pretty tasty and it seems they are unlimited. Too bad I was just there for a quick lunch or I would have seen how unlimited the fries truly are! The service was good — a little slow considering how empty it was for a lunch time. The root beer float I had was very good. There was nothing really special about this place, but there was nothing bad either so I would probably come back here in the future.

Hubs and I had lunch here a couple of Sundays ago. I had a BLT sandwich and he had a hamburger. Both came with unlimited fries(deliciously dangerous). The BLT was surprisingly hardy on the B but I would have liked more than I slice of the T, overall it was ok but not spectacular. Hubs burger was good. The server was great! She refilled our drinks and brought us a second plate of fries. She was cheerful. My only gripe is that the tables in the middle of the restaurant are too close together. I had to move when a party of 7 was seated at the table behind me. A couple of their chairs kept bumping into mine. It wasn’t their fault, the tables were crammed too close.

This is not a 5 star restaurant, it’s Johnny Rockets. If I want a good burger, I’m not coming here. However, if we have the kids with us, this is a fine place to come. The kids enjoy their burgers and chicken fingers and the milk shakes are always a hit. The service is friendly enough. It’s a step above McDonald’s, which I guess is something. If I’m comparing it to Red Robin, RR wins every time — not even close. I can tell you that I’ve been to other Johnny Rockets which were much better… the food was better, the overall attitude and«feel» of the place was better — more fun, better energy. The Folsom location is kinda bland. I got a chipotle chicken melt — a specialty menu item. The picture in the menu looked great — beautifully toasted, thick pieces of sourdough bread, piled high with chicken fingers and bacon, but the sandwich that I got was kind of silly. Two pieces of toast, with 2 chicken fingers and 2 slices of bacon with some cheese & barbecue sauce — I should have taken a picture because I’m pretty sure that my 11 year old SD could have made me a better one. There was more bread than filling. I wish JUSTONCE, the pictures in a menu would come close to resembling what you’re actually going to receive when you order it. Again, it is what it is.
