Food is good and fresh, but service is terrible. No matter how many times we have been here, it always feels like they are just figuring out how to take and fill orders. Slow and disorganized.

It was fast I’ll give them that, But seriously what type of Italian place makes an Italian sub without shredded lettuce? You’ve gotta be kidding me, I’m sure this place is good but don’t order the Italian dream. It’s more of a nightmare, maybe you want no lettuce, pickled peppers and terrible bottom shelf Bologna. Jeezus, lol it up «Italians» maybe there on their way out and just give zero f’s about quality anymore, I guess there too involved with their I phones and what to do after work then serving a good quality Italian sandwich. Then again what is Quality anyway.

If not for the interminably slow service, Romito’s might get higher marks. Their sandwiches are generally pretty good, and the menu is extensive, but be prepared to wait a while after placing your order. My husband and I were the only customers in the restaurant recently, and there were two people working behind the deli, but we still waited almost fifteen minutes for two sandwiches(only one of which required a panini press). I’ve had other similar experiences there and at this point just expect to wait a while. But, like I said, the sandwiches are decent, and there’s something for everyone on the menu. There is plenty of seating, and the dining area is cute.

Food is decent and not a lot like it in the area. That being said it’s expensive for what it is. Also last two times have waited over 30 mins for a sandwich and salad. And the place was moderately quiet. Be prepared to wait — I’m not planning on returning anytime soon.

Your mom and pop store, the deli is great and for the price is good. Better than going to subway.

Great sandwiches! Nice variety of gourmet sandwiches to choose from with a friendly and courteous staff. However, The portion size is questionable for the prices they are asking. Two sandwiches, two drinks, two chips, and you’re looking to spend in the $ 20 to $ 25 range. Dining and eating area could be cleaned more frequently. Update: Stopped in today for lunch and immediately noticed how much this place has gone downhill. Short on staff on a Saturday during lunch with one guy running the register and making sandwiches. The place still looks dirty with dust on shelves, food on floor, and tables not being bussed. The cold salad presentation in the case was unappealing, being still covered in plastic wrap and set on dirty looking green fabric. My Italian Dream sandwich was decent, but had hard ends on the cheese, meaning it wasn’t wrapped, and was exposed to air. My wife’s chicken salad had dark meat, and pieces of fat and skin. I’m pretty sure this was my last visit to Romitos, and regret not going down the street to Frigos.

Pride has ruined this place! There slogan is fast and fresh… It is the complete opposite of that. It’s a shame.
