The food is Ok, not amazing but good enough. The service it depends on who will take care of you. I noticed that if you are regular the service will be much better, if not like in are case then it will be bad. Particularly there is a female server (young, 5.6 tall aprox.) which I don’t remember her name, but she was on the nite shift. She had a terrible attitude since we arrived, like doing us a favor. This was Sunday by the way.

This place sucks, the waitress was nice and great customer service. What got me give this place 1 start is that they served me my sadwich with onions size of 2 inches of thickness, horrible i tell you, and to top it off the chiken was not even cooked all the way, and they put allot… Of Mayonnaise, on the sandwich. I would never go back. Horrible food

Where do i start… the potatoes were salty, the hashbrown was greasy and undercooked, the coffee bread taste like it was a week old and they put it in the microwave so it got even harder, and the pancakes taste like raw dough. Ugh, Yuk!!! Never again!

I once again love this cocos! They finally installed a baby changing station in their restroom!!! I don’t have a need to go some place else for breakfast with my 4 month old anymore. I can enjoy their great food and friendly service without worrying about where to change my daughter’s diaper. Thank you wait staff and managers.

One of the best spots to have breakfast in the city of Downey. Stopping by when I’m around the area is definitely a must. They serve the freshest morning coffee accompanied with French Vanilla creamers. The staff and waiters are extremely nice and helpful. Don’t forget to add the chiles Toriados.

Came here for quick breakfast with friends. We were seated right away upon arrival. Food was average and portion are small. Price was average. Server was friendly and worked hard to make sure everyone get their orders ready. Not crowded so it was nice to sit and talk with friends. Plenty of parking.

My husband and I stopped in on Saturday for lunch. My husband ordered a prime rib burger, but when he bit into it, he found some kind of paper object that looked like it belonged as a stick on a candy sucker. We informed the waiter who right away reported it to the manager. They were so apologetic. The manager went straight to the kitchen to find out what it could have been but they could not find what may have gotten into the meat. They concluded that it was in the meat that was already inside the meat they had ordered. Anyway, they made a new prime rib burger for him and wanted to comp us a dessert. We were not really in the mood for dessert, we were just happy to get such concern and such great service. They were really very busy, but not too busy to correct an error and and try to make up for it. They really do try to do an excellent job and great customer service.
My omelet was tasty and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Coco’s has a predictable menu that I like. Definitely not a five-​star location, but I do enjoy knowing what I’m going to get every time I go there. My wife and I go here fairly regularly and I enjoy the ambiance and food.

Cocos never fails for a late night dinner, excellent burgers! Especially there bbq Swiss and bacon burger! There customer service is one of the best in nearby restaurants, pies galore! Strawberries or pecan pie are my favorite!

Decided to try Cocos for the first time today. When my family and I arrived, it was packed, there was no place to sit while we waited to be called in. Tables were clearing out fairly quickly though within a matter of 15 minutes we were being called, and walked over to our table. Breakfast was deliscious, and the price was perfect.

Been here twice today at 230pm and two weeks ago, foods not bad and prices are good the service is alright and the bathroom men’s had no hand soap were do the cooks wash there hands. When I brought it to the managers attention she got mad. Sorry people think that as food establishment would follow state guidelines.

Had dinner here last week. Food was tasty, portions were generous. Service was okay. Had an issue getting refills on coffee. Still give Coco’s 4 stars because the salmon was really tasty, and we’ll prepared. Thank you.

I was expecting this place to be bad but it it was actually okay. I ordered from the signature menu and i was surprised it was pretty good. Kinda pricey for being cocos. Would I come again? Only if someone invites me ha ha

This place has gone down! I haven’t been here in over a year or two but today when I came for breakfast, we were welcomed with a dirty table. There were still plates and trash from the previous people that were sitting here. When it came to order, my cousin wanted a milkshake and the waitress said they don’t have that as she rolled her eyes. When it was time to order our breakfast we wanted white toast as a side and the waitress told us they didn’t have that.
No white toast!!! That is a common thing people order for breakfast. To top it off our order took a long time to come out and it was not even correct.
I’m not coming here anymore.

I was so excited to eat here until it took an hour for us to get seated and another hour for us to get our food. They got my order wrong and the waitress never asked me and my family for any refills.
The food was alright but the pancakes are literally the smallest and cutest things you’ll ever see in your lives. This place is obviously over priced and trust me the food looks nothing like the menu.
I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone unless your about 100 years old. There are better places to eat such as Pops café or the Market place and they’re literally across the street, you’ll pay just as much, get full and leave satisfied. FVCK COCO’s

It wasn’t that bad. It just wasn’t that good.
4 stars for their pies. They’re great. I’d prefer a bakery in LB for baked goods but Coco’s beats all the other bakery pies in Downey.
2 stars for dining in. I got the pumpkin pancakes and the only thing pumpkin about them was the color of the pancakes and the pumpkin pie flavored cream that it was served with. My dad’s plate came with potatoes and it was a measly serving. How do you skimp on potatoes?
3 stars overall. I’ll return for their pies but their food is nothing spectacular. (Though there was a wait on a Sunday morning by the time we left).

Worst service ever. Waited an hour and 10 minutes from getting seated to getting cold food. Sent my food back to get a fresh order since it was really cold and they stuck it in the microwave. My coffee was cold table was dirty I should of just went with my gut feeling and walked away in the first place.
My son got even got rotten lettuce !
Not to mention our waitress she was super unfriendly ! Messed up our order three times
Do not come here! Not recommended

The food was decent when we finally received it.
The waitress was very friendly, but she was a bit overwhelmed, my husband and I perceived.
I have to, have to, have to knock off a star, though, for the lack of a baby changing station in the women’s restroom. C’mon, it says «Family Restaurant,» does it not?
Our waitress even noted this and apologized before she saw me care my baby girl that way. It wasn’t her fault. I just think this is a little contrary to family dining.
Try it out for yourself if you’re not in a rush. It’s decent and mostly affordable.
