MUSTREAD Man, reading all these bad reviews made me question the«POORSERVICE» part. I’ve been going to this place for quite a while now and it’s been an ok experience. Until today! The male manager is rude and has no type of mannerisms. Spraying disinfectant near me while I’m eating! Also beware of your bill!!! They add extra non-sense stuff. Like $ 1.00 extra for having raw steak on the side instead of having it in your soup. ??? I tried asking him and he just said«you should know this» and rudely walked away attending to something else. NEVERAGAIN! Rude manager plus bad service = shitty business. Sorry for my language. It’s just not right. NOONESHOULDEVERDESERVETHIS. It ruins peoples vibe as much as you don’t want it to get to you.

I have been here multiple times and not once have i been unimpressed with what i was given. There phở is delicious and the servers are always smiling and very nice. If you just walk in and sit, of course you wont be noticed. I always talk to a server and ask to be seated so they know you are there. It was rough in the beginning but it is much improved.

WARNING: Dont eat here if you dont want to get sick! 1. Service sucks!!! Waited 30 mins for someone to give us a menu. 2. Asked a waiter if we can have chopsticks… OMG He finished cleaning the other table and then he turned around to another table and grabbed a handful of chopsticks and slammed it into our utensil holder. Ewwww…Disgusting… wtf! 3. It took an hour to get water. 4.If you look up RUDE in the dictionary, it has his picture there. This place needs to be shut down! After eating I have a stomach didn’t even eat 1⁄3 of the soup. IF I can rate zero stars, I would!!!

Finally tried Phở Saigon last week after working our way around the newly renovated plaza. Have to agree with the reviews about the food. We ordered the wonton noodle soup(Hoanh Thanh) and the chicken vermicelli with egg roll(Bun Ga Nuong Cha Gio). Wontons were measly and bland. The chicken was decent(not really bbq’d) but the accompanying Nuoc Cham sauce really lacked any flavor. Service was ok, though we had to ask if we were getting our change back after paying the bill. Next time, will likely just drive to Ben Tre instead when I’m craving Vietnamese food.

How long does it take for two bowls of Phở, a rice plate and shrimp appetizer. If you are Phở Saigon: an hour and 15 minutes on a non-busy Sunday night! We were a party of 4 adults 2 babies — I knew it was downhill from the moment the waiter asked specifically if that is all we wanted then gave us the stink-eye as if we were not worth the trouble. I’m giving it one star just b/c the food is actually quite good and I have had bad service at other Asian restaurants before, but not from one I frequent. I’m almost sure the waiter didn’t bother putting in our order considering 35 minutes in and still nothing. We had to ask another waitress who checked on everything for us and we still waited another 15 – 20 minutes. We finally got the bean sprouts and noticed they gave us a plate that was from another patron(lime was squeezed and put back). This review is from the multiple times we have eaten here for take out + experience in restaurant to date. Technically the bitchy looking/fake lady hostess/owner should know who we are — we order from them 1−2X a week in the last couple months since we just bought a house ½ mile away. I have seen her greet other regulars. This is not me being ‘privileged’ or ‘uppity’ this is America and service matters — this is why we tip and never in my life have I never left a $ 0.75 tip or note to tell them what a bad experience this was — but this was a first for me and the last time they will ever get my business!!! Lastly they have messed up multiple times on take-out orders. We added xtra beef $ 3 and there was less beef than regular order. We ordered well-done beef and got rare — this has happened more times than we can count!!! Go eff yourself Phở Saigon b/c I will go out of my way to make sure I or anyone else I know will ever eat here again!

Special ingredient: Hair in food… This place was off to a good start. The place looks new and clean upon entry. Chopsticks and spoons were not sticky. When my phở came, the broth was nice and flavorful. However, after taking a few bites I discovered a black hair in my phở! This is the first time I’ve ever had hair in my phở noodle soup! A few other Unilocal reviews mentioned hair in their food. Now I’m a believer. Hair in a bunch of people’s food is unacceptable! The kitchen staff seriously need to wear hair nets when cooking!

Philz is always busy on Saturdays so i decided to Come get a cup of iced viet coffee, waited for a long time since no one even tried to acknowledge me as a customer, waited for a while. Finally got my order and then i gave them my debit card. They dont tell you that there is a $ 10 minimum using debit/credit… No signs! Nothing! And the owner(the one that helped me, i know this because he mentioned it t) rudely mugged me grabbed the coffee out of my hands and put it in the fridge. Super rude! Wanted to punch his face. You just dont do that… Ive ate here so many times and ive always had bad service — just ignored and assumed people that work here just hate their jobs. now i know why! Smh! Dont come here!!!

Hair. At its best, it’s a world-renown musical surrounding the sexual revolution of the ‘60s or what Beyonce so perfectly tosses around stage at every concert and in every photo on her Instagram feed. At its worst, it is coarse and black and unexpectedly protruding from my chin during an interview… NOWAIT… At its worst, it’s coarse and black and chopped up into my dried up, gray, paltry-looking spring rolls at Phở Saigon. Or, is it even WORSE when it is coarse and black and floating amidst luke-warm beef broth? I have qualms about knocking restaurants for what could be a once-in-a-while mistake. But it was fucking ridiculous that BOTH items we ordered came seasoned with pieces the chef’s stringy locks. And after reading other reviews, it looks like we weren’t the first to have this experience! We informed the hostess, who seemed mildly apologetic but unsurprised, and we walked out. You can find me at a Broadway musical and I’ll jump at the opportunity to see Bey in concert. But you will never EVER find me at Phở Saigon, ever again!

I want to start by saying that all of the reviews on here getting the angry about service are somewhat ridiculous… Go to any Vietnamese restaurant and check the service you get. Anyone who tries to act like they regularly get good service at any Vietnamese restaurant is just lying to you. If you get a refill of water you’re lucky. I’m just saying know the type of place you’re eating at and stop bitching about the service just cause you’re an uppity brat. Anyways, the food is usually solid. The phở is solid as well. I suggest #32 and #48z. In the end they serve you quick, food tastes good, and it doesn’t take much time. Sorry for such a short review but I’m on the move right now. Go to phở Saigon!

I’d probably say 2.5 stars to be fair, but the service was so awful that I decided to round down. Mr. Dubs and I have been a fan of Phở Saigon for a while now, so we were super excited to try the new location. While the food was still delicious, the service was horrible. From the menu full of spelling errors and handwritten corrections to the servers who gave no fucks– it was just a poor experience from start to finish. Even though we didn’t have to wait long for a table, we ended up spending almost an hour there because our food took forever to come out. When I tried to flag a server down with a question about my order, she decided to scream across the restaurant instead of walking over to our table. I really enjoy the food at Phở Saigon, so I sincerely hope that they fix the service issues.

The phở was really good. I would give it 4.5÷5 However the service and how they run their business is horrible . I’m vietnamese and I’ve been to many Vietnamese restaurants and I’ve never been so irritated at one. How can you have all those items on the menu but tell the customer«sorry we don’t have that today». If it’s on the menu, it should be served. We went around noon time too! So it wasn’t because they ran out. So don’t put things on the menu when u don’t always serve it . Secondly, I ordered a phở tai. tai on the side. The phở was great. When I got the bill at the end they charged me $ 1 for having the meat put on the side !!! I never been to a restaurant that charged me extra money because I wanted to put the meat on the side! Who does that ??? I asked the waiter why is he charging me $ 1 to put the meat on the side. He said that if u ordered the meat on the side, they give you more meat. So that’s why they charged the extra $ 1. To be honest, it looks as much meat as any other phở restaurant that would give me when I ordered meat on the side(That means if u asked for meat inside the bowl … They give you so little pieces then) and next time u should tell/ask your customer if charging $ 1 is okay or if we wanted«more meat» . We had left over spring rolls and asked for 1 cup to bring home our left-over fish sauce. They charged for that. Who does that? I’m surprised they didn’t charge for the Togo boxes either . In general the service was bad. Once they served u, they forgot about u. My friend ordered the phở ga, and again the broth is really good . Honesty the food here is good but they need to change how they run it. It’s ridiculous. If it wasn’t for that I would give this place easily 4⁄5 star. I usually try to give the rating base on the food and less on the service but the service was that bad here. Would I come back? Yes cause I like the phở but meh

Them portion sizes… Paid like $ 9 for vermicelli and all I get is the bottom half of the take out box. Seriously, cheap much?! Food wasn’t even that good tbh. Also, the fish sauce tasted funny. Never coming back here again.

Maybe I’ll update this later, but I went there and they kicked us out saying they were closed and opening back up at 5pm… Fine, it was 4:50pm. We waited 10 minutes and the guy kicked us out again, saying it was 6pm because they had no food. OK??? Well maybe you shoulda told us earlier??? We went up to Phở the Gioi up the street — they always have food, I mean, they’re a restaurant… Get it together…

Came here a few times before the remodel and that was the only reason wanted to come here after the remodel. The parking is bad with the grocery store, Philz and Five guys taking most of the parking. We spun around maybe 5x before found one, and the way they have the lot designed doesn’t make it easy. The service was bad right from the beginning. They have people working up front but no organization. One believes the other did what the 1st person should had done. After being seated ordering took awhile and the food getting on the table took even longer and since we both didn’t order noodles took even longer. Even the tea tasted like we got seconds off another table. My lemon grass beef was burnt was nothing more that lemon grass and salt flavor. The rice was overcooked to the point it didn’t even absorb the fish sauce. The special number one arrived 10 minutes later after reminding the waiter that there were 2 orders. For a special it looked more like a normal. And there wasn’t even any more bean sprouts. Would not be returning to this place again.

My wife and I were weekly regulars before the renovation. We even got to know the cashier(Kahn) very well. The broth was the best around and it’s the most convenient location to us for good honest Vietnamese food. So we have waited a year and a half for this place to reopen… I think they forgot how to operate a restaurant! — went there the day after their first opening. They were closed. The guy inside said they will reopen on Saturday. — drive by in Sunday at 7:30pm and saw it was open. Went back to pick up the wifey and headed back there at 7:50pm. They were closed! WTF? — randomly went back a few days ago at 6:30pm assuming they figured it all out. They were closed!!! Advice to the owner: from reading other recent reviews, DONOT open your doors until you are truly up and running with fully trained staff, properly printed menu, enough ingredients to offer the full menu, and most importantly, display accurate days and hours of operation! You lost a customer that use to spend over $ 1000. per year. We will unfortunately drive elsewhere. What a shame…

I have been a long time customer at this location before they renovated their restaurant. This was one of my favorite phở places since their soups were really good and the service was a lot better compared to others. When I noticed it was open, I wanted to give it a shot and see how it currently is. I realized that it just opened up so they were busy. There was a wait when I arrived with my group — it took about 30 minutes to be seated and another 30 minutes to wait for our food. A few other guests received their food first even though my group was ahead of them. I wasn’t so happy about that but understood it was a little hectic for them. One of the items I ordered was the spring rolls(a lot SMALLER) than it was before. The soup bowls are an okay size but it will probably not fill you up. Many items on the menu were not available(sold out) so I had to stick with the number 1(Phở Dac Biet). Food is still good though. Just hope they get it together in the next few weeks. P. S. — I HIGHLYSUGGEST to fix all the misspellings in the menu. Too many errors were noticed in it and a lot of words were repeated. Best wishes.

Came here by default bc my friend and I were in this plaza for other reasons. But we were hungry and decided to try this place out instead of pigging out on bread… lol I just read that this place is in their Soft Opening phase? So that’s why they didn’t have some of the items available? And some of the words were blocked out on the menu too? No chicken phở at 4pm in the afternoon on a Friday? Okay. Soft opening. I opted for phở with beefy goodness. I just didn’t want tripe in mine for that day. But my friend who got the whole beef bowl said it was really good. They didn’t give us bean sprouts? I think this is the 2nd place I’ve been to that didn’t give it to us/offers it? The phở itself was good. Again, we could only choose from one size… But I think they offer a smaller size now so yeah. The broth was a little salty. However it wasn’t tasteless which is good. The meat portions in the soup were decent too. Not too bad. The restaurant is pretty big. But I’m sure when it gets busy it’ll be another story. lol. They take card too. I may be back to try other stuff or I may not. It really depends.
