We didn’t even order food inside of this place because their customer service skills were so horrible. An old man bussing the tables was so rude, we walked out. Please teach your workers to be courteous to customers.

I remember when this place used to be in the old Westborough plaza and it was a scary looking place when it was empty. Now it’s in a beautiful plaza with too many cars and not enough parking spaces. Anyways, I only come here when I am in the area. I have gotten their number 2 and it’s a good phở fix. I also really like their bun rieu! That’s a must try! I have gotten their bbq pork vermicelli to go and I didn’t like it because they didn’t put bean sprouts in it. They might not have bean sprouts that day because they didn’t give me any with my phở either. Their meat was very flavorful which is a plus! I will be back whenever I am in the area. Is it the best phở? Not like it used to be.

MUSTREAD Man, reading all these bad reviews made me question the«POORSERVICE» part. I’ve been going to this place for quite a while now and it’s been an ok experience. Until today! The asiamale manager is rude and has no type of mannerisms. Spraying disinfectant near me while I’m eating! Also beware of your bill!!! They add extra non-sense stuff. Like $ 1.00 extra for having raw steak on the side instead of having it in your soup. ??? I tried asking him and he just said«you should know this» and rudely walked away attending to something else. NEVERAGAIN! Rude manager plus bad service = shitty business. Sorry for my language. It’s just not right. No one should ever deserve this. It ruins peoples vibe as much as you don’t want it to get to you.

Spacious place and plenty of seating. Service isn’t great but it’s not expected since it’s an asian establishment. Not to be bias, but they usually don’t provide great service because they’re about fast service which I’m okay with. The seats weren’t wiped down very well, but I sat anyway. The food came out within seconds of ordering which makes you think they might not make it fresh? I didn’t care because on this particular day I was really hungry. Both of my coworkers ordered the same thing, pork chop rice plate, but one came out later than the other and it was cut differently. Their dishes looked different from each other when it was the same dish, that was odd. I liked my soup because there was plenty of meat. Usually there’s always more noodles than meat, so IMO, that was a plus. I don’t like how they skim you on the bean sprouts and jalapenos. I had to ask for more! Overall, a typical phở experience and probably the fastest service I’ve experienced. Great if you’re in a rush and don’t want take out.

Do your self a favor and dont come here to eat phở soup! They don’t even have a vegetable phở. Our waitress barely spoke any english, she brought us a bowl to share which one of them was dirty we had to send it back. When she brought another one her thumb was inside it which is really gross. Then they brought us our soup without lemon and sprouts. And its not like they were that busy to say they forgot. We got chicken wings which were gross more like dried chicken thats been soaked in grease. Spoiled my appetite. I couldnt even get a check there only worries about asian customers if your anything else dont

The food is okay, better than it used to be. I give 2 stars because the place itself is much cleaner than other phở spots in the area. However, I’ve ordered takeout the last two times and will probably be the last time I will takeout here. The first time they gave me the wrong order after I specifically said that wasn’t my receipt number(it said order 9 in big font, she gave me 60 and said I was looking at the wrong number… Hello wrong order) the second time, there was a hair in my pork chop dish. I’ve dined in a few times and wasn’t totally disappointed so if you decide to eat here, it isn’t bad. Just don’t takeout.

Even since this mall reopened, I’ve always wanted to try this place because I love Phở(I know its like a year since they reopened). I visited this location on 1÷16÷2016 at around 5pm and there was no line, no wait(granted it was raining outside). The waitress seated us(2people) quickly and we were approached 3 times to take our order. I like to sit down and look at the entire menu(kinda/sort of), check Unilocal reviews/pictures, look at what others are eating before ordering, when I go to a new place. I didn’t find it annoying, but it was noticeable because there weren’t a lot of people at restaurant. There were about 4 – 5 other tables full when we arrived. We ordered the Spicy Beef soup(Bun Bo Hue) and Seafood Phở. The spicy beef soup was SUPER spicy for me, but still really good! More than spicy, both broths were extremely HOT. I had to wait a while before eating the noodles. I am not sure if them place uses MSG, but the broth is really tasty! Our orders came out within 2 minutes, they were SUPER fast that day. We had a family or 4 sit behind us and after they ordered, the waiter went in the kitchen and came right back out with the food.(less than 2 minutes). I am not going to question why they are so quick, but the food looked really good! Heck, even firefighters were ordering take out from this place. Hehe Our total was about $ 18.50 without tip. I will definitely come back to try the other bowls, rice plates and bun mi. :) They currently only take cash, Visa, and Discover card.

Came here with a friend the other day since it was close to her place and we didn’t want to go too far because it was pouring rain. This Phở joint is in the same plaza as Five guys, Philz, Bön Chon and bunch of other restaurants and shops. The space is okay in size and can accommodate a good amount of people. There was no wait and we were seated right away. Service was okay, they aren’t too talkative or friendly. They just take your order, bring you your food and you go up to pay in the end. Typical Viet restaurant. We ordered two bowls of phở with beef and beef balls and an order of spring roll. The spring rolls came out unusually fast and then I took a bite and realized how hard the wrapper was. It must have been pre made and sitting around for a bit. Not okay. I would not suggest them here. The phở was okay. Broth was a good flavor but my noodles were hard and stuck all in one clump. Overall, I would probably stick to my normal phở places and only come here if it was out of convenience.

2 ½ stars After reading the horrible service reviews I just had to check this out – for entertainment’s sake and b/c we haven’t found an edible phở place around the SSF area yet. Started in line with the reviews. Menus put on the table, napkins dropped on the table – one ending up on the menu. Owner didn’t bother to even notice, let alone put it where it belonged. When we ordered Bun Bo Hue he made sure to say«spicy» b/c I’m a white guy and white guys don’t eat spicy food, according to the Vietnamese(they are so, so wrong). The food came and we asked for chillis in oil. She asked and said they don’t have any. 3 minutes later she shows up with about 1 tablespoon’s worth of chillis in oil. Hmmmm… We didn’t ask for a to go container since we knew we’d be charged and there wasn’t enough leftover for it to be worth paying the premium. Bill for 2 bowls and nothing else was over $ 19 with tax. This is about $ 4 – 5 more than we’d paid anywhere else for the same thing, so definitely over-priced, especially considering that they like to nickel and dime their customers. Not sure how much MSG is in the soup, but the Bun Bo Hue was ok. 4 stars for taste, but my chicken balls were green on the outside, so with that there’s obvious corner-cutting. Makes me think they may even recycle what’s left in the bowls. Went to pay and counter woman’s demeanor was horrible. I handed her my credit card. She couldn’t bring herself to hand it back. She slapped it on the counter about 1 foot to my left. She didn’t even offer me a receipt. I asked for mine and was given the itemized one. No offer of printing the credit card receipt. They don’t want to spend the 1⁄10th of a cent it costs. So overall, the extreme cheapness and rudeness, along with the questionable freshness of the ingredients makes me say I won’t be back.

I came with a large party about 45 minutes before closing. We ordered fast and got our food fast. The phở was ok. Not bad, but not impressive either. They at least got our orders right and the servers were nice enough and accommodating to our group. The problem came when the time hit 9:45 pm(15 minutes past closing time). An older man came over to our table as we were finishing up eating and yelled out that it was time to go. We were kinda shocked and someone in our group said, «Excuse me?». Then he said it again. Kinda made me lose my appetite… Lesson learned, next time when I come to this place… if I come back to this place, I will come early or be prepared to get it to go!

Tried this again. We were charged for watered down tea! At least tell me it costs money before charging me. Then the boss lady tells us $ 20 when we go to pay. and hides the receipt. I had to grab it to see the extra charges. Because $ 20 was too much for what we ordered. Batch!

I miss the old Phở Saigon, where the service was friendly, food was good & reasonable. I should have listened to my brother when he warned me not to go there because everything was not the same: 1) They won’t give you the soup that goes with your rice plate if you don’t ask for it. So, if you don’t know it comes with it… you won’t get it… sorry! 2) Rice noodles were over cooked. 3) They charge $.50 for the to go container(even if you’re ordering to go, WTF, should the price already cover for those containers. It didn’t even cost them a dime for those). 4) Service didn’t deserve a tip… so I didn’t give any… don’t care!!! NOTCOMINGBACK!!!

One star because the food isn’t terrible, but I’m deducting a ton because they are stingy on so many levels. Strike 1: Tea is 50 cents each. Strike 2: I asked for egg noodles, which I do at every Vietnamese restaurant, and they charged $ 1.50 extra. Strike 3: When I came here with my family, we needed to-go containers and the waiter told us it was 50 cents per container. WTF, who does that? Other moments exemplifying their poor service– my mom asked for more peanut sauce for her spring rolls and the waitress forgot and resumed cleaning tables. So then my mom had to ask her again, and she said«Sorry, I forgot to tell you. The kitchen is closed.» –__– I’m sorry, do you guys have to cook the sauce from scratch every time someone orders it? Nope! Because when my mom asked someone else, he promptly brought some for us. But the RUDEST thing I’ve seen here was when my dad was paying(during a separate unpleasant dining experience), the waiter stood over his shoulder to watch him tip. Unclassy and awkward. I’m disappointed because I used to eat here before the remodel, but needless to say I will never dine here again. They shouldn’t have opted for a large location in Westborough Square if it meant imposing charges left and right and hiring crappy staff.

Came here once, told myself I would never come back, came back again due to family, I was just as disappointed(if not even more) and now… Never coming back again FORSURETHISTIME(my family included)!!! — First visit, they didn’t give basil in their phở condiment plate. I know, cue the tears…(it’s a big deal for my Viet family haha) — Ignored upon entering. When asked how many people in our party, we tell her, and she tells us to wait. We were ignored again for 5 – 10 minutes. Meanwhile, there are empty tables that need to be cleaned yet no one to clean and empty them. A line starts to form behind us. — Phở noodles can be cooked a little longer, as they were a little hard for for my liking. The meat in the phở were extremely chewy, hard and some were even clumped together. Soup base lacking in flavor and depth. — «Chicken» curry vermicelli was so bland. tasted like chicken soup. Where is the spice/curry flavor? Mysterious meat in all shapes and sizes. not quite sure if it was even chicken Better Vietnamese restaurants near or around here!

Definitely everything you would expect from a traditional phở restaurant. My family of 6 came in and there was a little bit of a wait, but they eventually got us seated. I was so torn between ordering soup, a rice plate, or just the spring rolls because everything sounded so tasty! I finally settled and ordered the seafood combination soup with clear noodles and a glass of water. The wait wasn’t too long at all, if anything my brother’s rice plate took the longest, but that would make sense because what he ordered was HUGE!(there was some kind of meat, an egg, rice, carrot and daikon salad, a shrimp/fish cake, and a side of rice). Our food came out quickly, but what I will say is when you’re eating with a pretty big group, it’s hard to figure out if what was coming to the table was what you ordered. A little bit of a language barrier, but I came to the conclusion that the soup that looked like mine was mine regardless of what the waiter was saying. The soup was hot and delicious and very filling. I actually had to take all of the noodles and soup home because I found myself eating all the seafood… whoops. I would definitely recommend this place, we used to go elsewhere for phở, but once this place opened it’s our current go-to.

Okay food. Slow service. Every time I come here there’s vacant tables. But, it will take them awhile to take your order, serve your food, and give you your check. Maybe they are short staffed? Their menu has lots of choices to choose from! My usual is the steak and brisket! Something to know about this restaurant is they close at 10pm but will lock their doors at 9:30pm!(And stop serving food sometime before that) They should just put up a sign that says they close at 9 instead!

How many times do I have to say«two» for party of two?!? Four times! And it was to the same employee! :( Food– bun bo hue was tasty and beef was tender, but only one size(large) available and it wasn’t that large. Phở duc biet Saigon was alright, a bit too salty and obviously full of msg. I asked for hot Vietnamese coffee, but they said they didn’t have any. ??? So I ordered a Vietnamese iced coffee instead. It tasted good, but was filled with ice and served in a small plastic cup. Décor/Environment– high ceiling and new, but crowded and tables are too close together. Unfinished construction with an empty hole in the ceiling where a light was supposed to be. Almost got phở soup spilled on us when waiter was trying to place the bowl of phở down onto our table while trying to keep the tray balanced on the chair of the table next to us because there was not enough to space for him to stand directly next to our table. I was so relieved that his thumb did not dip into our bowls of noodles. Things like chairs and chopsticks are new, but not that clean… were dusty with crumbs perhaps due to not enough attention to detail while clearing tables for the next customers. Service– not that great and not that much provided. Got asked four times the same question by the same staff. Service was also slow, especially for a phở place. They do not bring you the check as you have to go up to the cashier to pay. Overall it’s OK since the bun no hue was good and I shouldn’t expect great service at a Vietnamese restaurant. It’s overpriced(especially the coffee was a total rip off) and I heard they charge $ 1 for tea. C’mon, this is not Koi Palace. No reason for me to come here unless my friends pick this place to eat or somehow I am in the area, parked in the overcrowded parking lot there, and dying to have some phở.

Good bun bo hue. Kinda oilier than what I’m used to, but flavorful. The spice level isn’t spicy but it was better than most places that I’ve tried. The spring roll wasn’t that good though. The rice paper wrap was dry and the filling inside was unmemorable although I did like the touch of mint inside.

The phở was really good. I would give it 4.5÷5 However the service and how they run their business is horrible . I’m vietnamese and I’ve been to many Vietnamese restaurants and I’ve never been so irritated at one. How can you have all those items on the menu but tell the customer«sorry we don’t have that today». If it’s on the menu, it should be served. We went around noon time too! So it wasn’t because they ran out. So don’t put things on the menu when u don’t always serve it . Secondly, I ordered a phở tai. tai on the side. The phở was great. When I got the bill at the end they charged me $ 1 for having the meat put on the side !!! I never been to a restaurant that charged me extra money because I wanted to put the meat on the side! Who does that ??? I asked the waiter why is he charging me $ 1 to put the meat on the side. He said that if u ordered the meat on the side, they give you more meat. So that’s why they charged the extra $ 1. To be honest, it looks as much meat as any other phở restaurant that would give me when I ordered meat on the side(That means if u asked for meat inside the bowl … They give you so little pieces then) and next time u should tell/ask your customer if charging $ 1 is okay or if we wanted«more meat» . We had left over spring rolls and asked for 1 cup to bring home our left-over fish sauce. They charged for that. Who does that? I’m surprised they didn’t charge for the Togo boxes either . In general the service was bad. Once they served u, they forgot about u. My friend ordered the phở ga, and again the broth is really good . Honesty the food here is good but they need to change how they run it. It’s ridiculous. If it wasn’t for that I would give this plac easily 4⁄5 star. I usually try to give the rating base on the food and less on the service but the service was that bad here. Would I come back? Prob cause I like the phở

You may want to consider other vietnamese restaurants… I am not sure what has happened. Maybe the new location has bad voo doo, but this place sucks. Not the way I remembered it to be. First off, I had to wave my hand to get attention to place my order. I was offered water or tea. I wanted both. Thanks for failing to tell me that it is .50 per person for tea. I never got my water. Secondly, the portions are tiny! I mean seriously smaller than other phở restaurants that I have gone too. Fresh spring rolls, small. We ordered a rice plate, not even a handful of bbq meat. However, they gave us a huge portion of rice! Phở was bland and again heavy on the noodles, less on the meat. The food was not even favorable or memorable. There are plenty of other phở restaurants in the area that you may want to consider, this is definitely not one of that I would suggest for so many reasons.

I was told this place has the best phở in the Peninsula. That was a lie! I’ve come here twice and service lacked both times. They are not efficient and many of the items listed on the menu aren’t available. On my most recent visit, I ordered the BBQ pork rice plate. I’ve had my share of pork rice plates and I was not a fan of this dish. The pork had a strong lemongrass flavor, which was overwhelming. My mom ordered the curry chicken and there was barely any chicken. It was just shreds probably leftover from making soup stock. Also, we specifically asked for the cilantro to be omitted, but they still tossed it in anyway. Hubby and my dad both ordered some kind of beef phở, but when the server brought it out, he didn’t state which number it was. He just left it on the table. Due to the bad experience on both visits, I will not be returning for some time.
