My one and only favorite Vietnamese restaurant. I’m more of a rice plate person rather than being a fanatic about Phó soup. I’m sorry I cannot compare their Phó to others but I can say their phở is very good. However I always get the number 56. This is barbecue pork with rice and an egg. This is a nostalgic meal for me that reminds me of how my mom and I ate Vietnamese food together all the time when I was a kid. I love this plate I never get anything else :)

The Phở broth is delicious and doesn’t give me a headache like other Vietnamese Phở restaurants. The service is fast and the prices are decent. This is my go to spot for phở.

Such friendly service, and a huge variety of Vietnamese food! Haven’t been to a place with both good rice and phở. Also there is a super hot waiter whose broad shoulders make him look like a t shirt model. Also a great atmosphere! Love the owner

If you can get past the bad service and bad attitudes(they obviously do not love working here and have absolutely no concept of customer service) the food is good and reasonably priced. I’ve been coming here for years and always get my food to go. Always.

We were seated and had our order taken at the same time as a family of 7. They got all their food and were half way through their meal before we even got our water. Not returning.

The food here is always consistent. And it’s conveniently located down the street from me.

Worse service ever! We got our food first then 10 minutes later we got our drinks! My kids were already chocking before we got the drinks!

First time today. I had number 1, large. But it wasn’t really large, more like a medium. Not much meat. The table was so sticky. Will not return.

Been to a lot of Phở places and this isn’t the worst, but definitely isn’t the best. I always try the broth before adding any Sriracha or anything. I found the broth to be overly greasy. I sat my spoon aside as I mixed my noodles and meat around and when I use it again I could feel the grease on my spoon that had solidified, slightly. Eh what the hell. I already started so I continued to eat my bowl. The noodles were a bit hard. And the amount of tendons and beef balls for a COMBO Bowl was a unsatisfying. I literally had one tendon and two beef balls. I had literally made eye contact with the server multiple times to try and get my water up refilled. I had no idea what was going on at this point. I had the same empty water cup for 30 minutes. They are nice people, don’t get me wrong, just a lack in customer service. They don’t check up on you, so they will never know when you need anything else. The only reason why I gave this place Two stars is because the food was tolerable. I will never come back here. For the price they charge, which is t bad, I can get a way better experience and a bowl of Phở elsewhere. Sorry, but I just can’t imagine how this place satisfies anyone.

I come here about 3 – 4 times a month, it really gives you your ‘Phở Fix’… Very clean, lots of parking, lots to choose from on the Menu, and very nice staff. Even if it’s super packed, they still give attention to every customer which I respect the most. If you’re craving for Phở but don’t want to wait 5 – 10 minutes for them to bring it to you, this place is the one for you. they usually have it on your table in less than 5 minutes. Large portions. Would recommend to friends and family!

My first time at this phở place and honestly I didn’t enjoy it very much. It’s convenient location with lots of parking at least. I ordered a chicken phở and the noodle just tasted terrible. The soup was okay… they didn’t give me enough chicken! It wasn’t my typical chicken phở that I eat. Service is alright… they came around once to fill up our water cups than left. Some family came in and started singing out of nowhere and started asking for donations which I thought was odd and random. It was a bit disturbing bc I couldn’t really hear what my friends were talking about. Other than that, I don’t think I want to come here unless I’m in the area.

Literally the worst phở I have had. Check out my Unilocal review list«all about the noodles» and you’ll see that I am someone who has a lot of Phở. This place is absolutely the worst place I have ever been to. It is disgusting and barely edible food that would be overpriced at any amount over a dollar. The broth is basically water + msg. The meat is some ghastly stuff. The noodles are either under-cooked stiff pasta or soggy as fuck. There is no worse phở place. I think they reviewed themselves to get to 3 stars, because they were at 2 for a long time. But I have reviewed a ton of phở and this is the worst. Ignore me at your peril.

Ate a snack Phở #1 before going to Orchard Supply in this strip mall. Free parking in lot. Off hours, the service is a little slow. Soup was flavorful without any hint of msg. Compared to other phở restaurants this was okay.

I’ve been contemplating writing this review for about a week and a day(pretty much the entire time I’ve been sick with diarrhea and stomach cramps) now let me first say I’ve been to this place for YEARS and this is my first incident. But never have I felt this terrible! I decided to try something I never order, the beef stew, as I normally order the regular phở #1. Huge mistake. Totally WRECKED my insides and I felt my state of health deteriorate from feel good at 11AM to ending up having a high fever and body aches by the end of the work day. Am I willing to continue going here? Probably not, as convenient as this place is. Long story short, traumatized.

Egg soda — my favorite(when I can get it — meaning, very few restaurants I’ve been to have this) Fresh shrimp rolls — mint overload for me, but hubby loved it. BBQ chicken plate — Good rice noodles with won tons and bbq pork — Good! mango smoothie with tapioca — Kept my son quiet for 30 minutes — GOOD.

Love this place. It’s always a must-have every time my sister and I are in town. My favorite is the #12 with rare beef and brisket, it’s extremely flavorful and the meat is so tender! The service is typical, very quick, no chit chat, but nice and attentive nonetheless. Also the fried chicken wings are probably some of the best I’ve ever had!

Love the food, fast service and the great price. Would like to see updates in the décor but you cant complain. Kids get the large phở meat ball soup and spit it. I get the seafood phở and add all the extra condiments. Yum yum !!!

One of only a handful of Phở places I tried in San Francisco. To be honest, I think the Vietnamese Phở places are much better tasting in Los Angeles and in Orange County. This place was decent. I ordered their Phở Combo and their Spring Rolls. The soup base was a bit bland, with Phở rice noodles, beef brisket, beef tendon, lots of leeks served with soy bean sprouts, mint leaves, and lime on the side. Yes, the soup was extremely hot which is a good thing, but the proportions wasn’t as I expected. Wish there was more food served on a large soup bowl. The Shrimp Spring Rolls on the other hand was delicious! I believe it’s better tasting and wrapped more tightly than most places in Southern California. Plenty of shrimp wrapped I side with a dipping sauce served on the side. It was tasty and delicious. The service was okay. I couldn’t figure out what else the waiter can do after serving our food. Yes, he filled our waters, and was semi attentive. He looked tired though. The establishment wasn’t that clean. My table and chair was a little sticky with little food particles left behind. The condiments and utensils were fine… thank goodness. But cleaning the tables needs to improve. Overall, this place was decent. Very convenient location to come from Daly City.

This place has gone through some changes over the years. I actually don’t even remember when this place opened, but all I know is, it’s the place where I always go to get my phở fix with my family when I’m home in Daly City. Pros: — Lots of parking since the parking lot is big. — Located down Gellert Blvd in a strip of other restaurants. — The place has ample amount of seating, with wide windows that brighten up the place. — They put lights around during winter so it’s pretty festive. — They play 96.5. Honestly still one of my favorite Bay Area stations. — Their menu is extensive, but not overbearing. — #32 is my main dish. — Their portions are worth the price. Super filling. — They do Take-Out. — They accept cash and card. Cons: — Their bathroom is scary haha. — Sometimes the majority of meat in certain phở isn’t actually meat, but fats. — Their utensils are pretty old. — Their tables are strangely glued together. although I actually never took notice of that until recently. — Workers are hit or miss. Despite the smaller bowl size, I still find myself getting full off of their phở and vermicelli. My favorite drink here is their iced tea. Super delish. Overall, a family favorite place.
