1st time experience! Great customer service and the food was worth the price. Definitely going back!

Happy Hour is a fantastic deal! Service is hit or miss. Get beer and sake on HH menu if you want to do sake bombs! Non-HH menu can be on expensive side but all of my friends who are not used to a lot of the raw uncooked side of sushi love this place since it has a lot of friends and american options. i do not get these so i dont have many options when it comes to good rolls i like or cheaper sashimi!

I love their entire menu! Pacific roll is one of my faves, along with the seaweed salad, which is so tasty. OH&THECALAMARI. Service is exceptional. Ambiance is exactly what I want from Knox-Henderson– loungy, but not stuffy. Energetic, but not too much. One of my favorite spots!

I had dinner here last saturday with friends. The sushi was amazing and the service was even better. The atmosphere is great and the bar area is very nice. I have been here for happy hour as well and it is an amazing value. I have been to many of the dallas sushi restaurants and axiom is my favorite.

It was my first time here and I sat on the patio with a large group. Happy hour specials on food & drinks were decent. Some items on the menu are hit or miss in terms of portion size. I had the tuna & crab nachos(decent and they are NOT spicy FYI) and two orders of the imperial spring rolls(yummy!). Others in my group ordered the 2 piece sushi(sent it back), chicken satay, fried rice and a few other things. Service was okay. We only had one server for about 10 people and one of my orders of egg rolls came out super late(while we were getting our checks). But I think she was trying and I was impressed by her ability to remember most of our first names. So with that being said… PROS: –Location(popular area off Knox/Henderson) –Cheap food & drinks on happy hour –Nice patio CONS: –Parking(why is the entire parking lot designated for valet?) –Extra charge for mixers in your drinks(unnecessary but if that’s the case, list this on your menu because it’s misleading)

Where do I start??? Parking. The entire lot is $ 5 valet parking. Or you may be fortunate enough to find a spot on the street like I did. Also we sat on the patio so I can’t comment on the décor. This place is one of the worst places I have been to in a very long time. I knew that I was coming to this place for happy hour so I looked at some of the other reviews while at work. With that being said, this place does not have good reviews overall, but I still wanted to go into the situation and with a positive mindset. I ordered the Imperial egg rolls. They were absolutely disgusting. I am not over exaggerating but I really need you to understand that these egg rolls tasted like something a contestant on Fear Factor would eat. I asked to return them because I did not like the crab and shrimp. The waitress rudely said,” there is no crab or shrimp. They are just pork eggrolls. «so I politely borrowed a menu from my friend, flipped over a few pages to where the egg rolls were listed and pointed my pink finger nail to where it says „shrimp, crab, and pork egg rolls“ and looked at her with a „now what“ expression? She replied,» Oh.” Smh. I then ordered the chicken fried rice. Now, while this dish did not taste like roadkill, it was just basic at best. Fast and Furious has much better(and cheaper) chicken fried rice and this establishment is supposed to be an actual restaurant versus the Japanese Chipotle that fast and furious is. Side note– I miss Chaucer’s in Addison. They had some bomb chicken fried rice. Anyway, Our drinks took forever to arrive and one of my friends didn’t receive a portion of her order until the checks where coming out. On happy hour, the Liquors were advertised for $ 4. When we receive our checks, we find out that there is a $ 1charge per drink for juice to be added to the drinks. But of course she did not bother telling us that when we ordered. Our waitress name was Elizabeth and honestly I feel like she gave us piss poor service because there was a large group and she already knew she was going to get 20% gratuity so there was really no point of her providing great service. She basically said eff it! My check was $ 28 for chicken fried rice, 2 vodka pineapples and the mandatory(and undeserving) 20% gratuity. I can think of a million places where I can eat, drink, actually enjoy my food and get at least decent service for $ 30. I will never come back to this establishment.

Worst service I have ever had. Ever. With 12 tables open… Absolutely terrible. It would have been a great meal but the service ruined the entire meal. Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. Service.

Went there for happy hour on a Friday afternoon. Got there early so it was pretty empty. Waitress was nice and we had a prompt service. Prices for happy hour are great, it was my first time having sushi and first time here. Although I had to valet, place was very apple along so I’ll def be back !

Came here once for a friend’s birthday and a second time only because the restaurant I wanted to go to further down was closed for a private party. The valet had already taken our car to be parked. I was disappointed both times. The food is not fresh nor good. If asked to come back I wouldn’t.

Been here twice for Sunday all-day happy hour now, and I’m a fan! Prices are great. Got the Cherry Blossom Roll both times and it was delicious. As starters go, Spring rolls weren’t bad, but weren’t my favorite. Crab Nachos were amazing(although the portion served is very small)!

Had dinner here Friday night — we had good service and good food. The sushi is fresh and the Happy Hour Prices on drinks and sushi are great! recommend this for a group, large or intimate. I think my favorite was the cherry blossom roll — it was presented beautifully and had great flavor.

Cute on the inside. Good happy hour. Select drinks and sushi rolls/apptz are cheap! And yummy! I never see it too bumping. Service is a hit or miss. But can say I personally have enjoyed my experiences here!

DONOTGOHERE. This place completely ruined my birthday dinner. Our drinks took 30 minutes to get to the table. Our server was rude and unprofessional. We wound up not even eating there because everything took so long and we were all just ready to get the hell out of this nightmare. I’ve never had such an awful experience at a restaurant. I worked in the service industry for 10 years. This place is unacceptable.

Pretty great HH here with plenty of options to choose from. Their house wine is decent and their tuna/crab nachos are fantastic. I’m also a huge fan of their ahi tuna tower. Their more complex rolls are very good, but the more basic ones(spicy tuna, salmon, etc) are not that good at all and therefore I recommend splurging for the more expensive and tastier ones.

Words cannot describe how terrible the food was here, but I will try. A group of us came here on a Monday night to sit on the patio. We ordered some appetizers and one entrée to start(entrée because I was very hungry and wasn’t about to mess with sushi rolls or appetizers). I ordered beef pad thai. How can you mess up beef pad thai? Well, the beef was clearly on its way to spoiling and had been cooked into oblivion. Aside from the almost-spoiled beef, the dish had absolutely no flavor and had no trappings of anything even remotely resembling pad thai other than the ground peanut garnish. The beef summer rolls had the same almost-spoiled beef with old lettuce. The calamari was just plain disgusting and on its way out too. We were all so hungry that we ended up going down the street to finish dinner. Service was pretty good and attentive. The other Sushi Axiom location is much better than this one for food. If you are in the Henderson area, there are so many better places to go to than coming here for anything. I just don’t even understand how this place survives. I really don’t buy that they were having on off-night either. No restaurant should be serving food that is so close to spoiling on any day of the week.

Been to this location a few times and never had a problem until I went last night for a birthday dinner. We had many issues, I dont even know where to begin. Birthday dinner was a party of about 15 people. We didn’t experience the majority of our issues until the end of the night — when I guess our server thought that just because we ordered some drinks(in which we all drank moderately), we were probably drunk and could be easily taken advantage of. Long story short, our server tried to over charge us, shorted another guy one dollar short, and when I asked her about the dollar she shorted him, she said«we dont have change». then rudely walked away. When I told her about her over charging us for a glass of wine, she didn’t even let us finish our sentence before she grabbed our check and took the charge off. — how did she know what we were going to say/complain about, if she hadn’t already known she did this? sketchy. this makes me feel that she did this purposely, hoping to get away with it. After she corrected our tab for the extra glass of wine, she rudely threw the check in front of us and threw the pens on top of it. She also charged us for 20% grat(without telling us) — that she totally did NOT deserve. I was not okay with this for obvious reasons. After we all left very unhappy with the terrible service, and the fact that she tried to take advantage of us, i asked for the manager(Joe), whom I spoke with about every detail we were unhappy about. He was very understanding and listened to what we had to say and apologized on her behalf. He was nice enough to offer to buy a round of drinks for our party, and even offered to refund the 20% gratuity. However, I did not take either offers but instead thanked him for listening and he promised that he will speak with the server about this issue. The only reason I might even consider coming back to this Sushi Axiom location is because Joe made himself readily available to his unhappy customers and did everything he could to try to make our night better.

On a warm winter day ritual for us, we stopped by here today for a late sushi lunch. The good: — fantastic sushi and draft beer(Brooklyn Lager) at happy hour prices on Sundays The bad/ugly: — absentee service: we had to walk our order in after about a 10 minute wait, and food was super slow to emerge, another 15 – 20 mins for our sushi order, on a slow Sunday afternoon. The save: — waiter comped us for our drinks, and brought us more than what we ordered, in acknowledgement of the poor service experience We will be back, when we have plenty of time and can make the most of the solid food, solid value, and slow service experience.

Sushi Axiom is a pretty big restaurant with a lot of edge to the interior. The lighting is nice and the atmosphere is quite upbeat. I like the bar area for eating/drinking, but their dining room area is also nice to eat in. I’ve had many sushi rolls here, and they were all good, just nothing to write home about. What I really like the most are the cocktails. I haven’t been in a while since the crowd changed, but I’m not opposed to going back. I just haven’t been in the area when having a sushi craving.

Great atmosphere, but the food was terrible! I went here Saturday and I was sick 60 minutes later which carried on into the next morning. I hate to leave bad reviews so I will leave it at that. On a more positive note, this is a cool spot to go if you just want to have drinks because the vibe in this place is really nice. The sushi, pad tai and chicken teriyaki were a waste of $.

Really enjoyed my time here. Came for dinner on and weekday and hit their 5−7PM happy hour! :D The ambiance of this place was great. The inside was pretty nice and fancy and had a nice, modern décor. There is also outside seating available, which is great for when the weather is nice~ Happy hour menu is not that extensive, but it’s got a good selection. A lot of rolls are only 4 bucks(like the spicy salmon!!), and some of the specialty rolls are 8 bucks(5 — 7 dollars off their normal price). Ok food discussion time. My friends and I ordered a bunch of sushi and shared them all. Out our purchases, which included the rainbow roll, Cherry blossom, lion king, Love at First Bite, and Happy Hour Spicy Salmon(i think i am forgetting some but oh well), I would say ALL of them are SUPERB! I personally enjoyed the cherry blossom a lot because of the more tangy texture, but that’s just moi. Totes recommend the Lion King as well! Love At First Bite is a «specialty» roll that is usually 14 bucks, if you are in a pinch for money I would steer away from it and order something from the happy hour menu, since I believe you will be able to enjoy something equally satiable from that list. In all… GREATSUCCESS. VERRNAICE.
