Used to be a wonderful, quiet Starbucks to study. As clock continued to tick, it’s getting worse. Not only the people who comes in. The service, ask for a grande triple shot cinnamon dolce latte, 2 pumps with no whip cream. Turned out, I had to swipe 13 times to process my order, and the lady gave me an attitude as if I owe her something/I shouldn’t be in here. Drive down towards Allen street. Baristas there are much more friendlier, service is a ton better. Cons at that location is parking. Don’t forget to grab a ticket for parking or your vehicle might end up being towed.

This Starbucks is definitely one of the most convenient Starbucks in Dallas. It’s pretty central in the city & so easy to find. Parking can be a pain because of how crowded West Village is. The Starbucks though is HUGE and you can find plenty of seating. It is definitely a place I love to work and meet with people. The drinks are good and pretty standard compared to any of the other Starbucks locations. The staff is normally friendly but I have encountered a few unfriendly baristas. That can be deterring but I like this Starbucks for the convience factor and it stays open till midnight unlike most Starbucks and coffee shops in general!

I’m really not sure how I’ve never visited this Starbucks. I shop and dine in the Uptown area quite frequently. So I was very pleased when I walked into this location. It’s very spacious and has plenty of seating. Usually, at most Starbucks trying to find seating on a busy Saturday is a pain. However, you have plenty of tables, chairs and couches to choose from. The patio is large and roomy as well. So go ahead and soak up the sunshine. Luckily for me there was no line. I was able to walk up and order my drink. My barista wasn’t the friendliest. I don’t know if I caught him at a bad moment or what. However, I got over it when my drink came out perfect. Not excusing his behavior but it wouldn’t prevent me from coming back. I would recommend this location for a quick meet-up or small meeting. No need to send one person ahead of time to save seats. LOL! Remember this is West Village and parking is not that great. So keep that in mind when visiting this location.

They make good drinks, however, the staffs are so rude and unfriendly. It is not like just happening once, it happens everytime I come here and order drinks from them.

This really is among the biggest shops I Have ever seen. The area is quite fashionable and upscale. The outside seating area is enormous with quite several small bunches of seats and tables. Baristas are on top of their game here, transferring long lines quickly and calling drinks with cheer.

It’s a good Starbucks to come and study. Most of the Batistas look like they at least tolerate their job. Just one. The guy looks like he hates life itself. The drinks are made at an adequate time and are good enough to be called Starbucks drinks. Just one major thing. None of the restrooms have been checked in Hours! My girlfriend had to take Starbucks napkins.

Nice looking Starbucks located in West Village. The M Line trolley has a stop right in front of this Starbucks so you can wait inside for the next trolley to arrive

Worst customer service everrrr. The baristas are mean and rude with customers. They even turn off/on the light as announcement of store closure 30 mins before the actual official closing time(they could be more polite and just make verbal announcement). Plus sometimes they turn off the internet connection to get rid of customers earlier.

This is a nice Starbucks. There is an old white guy with gray hair who comes into this Starbucks and steals a New York Times and a Dallas Morning News every Sat and Sun morning at 7:30. That’s like $ 9.00 worth of papers a day that he steals. And that comes to $ 72 a month, or $ 936.00 a year that this guy is pilfering. And that’s just on the weekends. Who knows how many newspapers he steals during the week. He drives a Silver Toyota Highlander with license plate BZP0929. I always pay for my newspaper, and I think this guy is basically stealing merchandise.

The best Starbucks to get attitude thrown in your face. Not by just one, but BOTH baristas. We ordered, for which the taker took in a timely manner. But after we watched all others get served in line who came after us, we asked about it. Told by them that we were later in line, then told it to complain about it. Thee two then put a cup on the counter and walked away. LAST time coming to this joke.

Right smack dab in West Village. This place is huge too. Service was fast. Place was packed, but there’s still places to sit. Lots of places to plug in your laptop. All different types of people come here. They’ve got couches to your regular table and chairs to high tables and chairs. It’s very comfortable to lounge and hang out in. A very happening atmosphere. Got a venti Salted Caramel Mocha, and they all taste the same everywhere so I won’t discuss taste.

Terribly disorganized staff. It took almost 20 minutes to get a Red Eye. The line is out the door. It may appear that they’re busy, but only because efficiency is at an all time low.

The worst service I’ve received in an incredibly long time. The Hispanic young male who created my cappuccino did not want to remake my frappuccino when I told him it did not taste like caramel at all. He rolled his eyes twice, telling me how it was my fault, because I ordered my caramel frappuccino with a single shot of espresso. I informed him no other store seemed to have a problem with my order, then he tried to guilt me into not making him remake it. I just ignored his attitude, and waited for him to remake it with more caramel syrup. He finally told the Hispanic young female to make it, and walked away. I had already given them a dollar tip. I wish I had taken it back, but I didn’t want it to look like I was stealing from their jar. The female was polite to me the entire time, so I felt they deserved at least and extra star for her service.

Let me start with this: I AMSTARBUCKSOHOLIC. Love Starbucks, but there are some places, their service is so poor. Like this place. I used to come here at night and they always had amazing staffs. They helped, they suggested and their services were the Top of greatness. However, the old staffs were gone, new people work there with poorly services. I have been in here one time, two of the staffs were arguing and I was standing in line and waiting for them to finish their arguments. I don’t care what was their problem, but should not done that in front of customers.

This is just your typical Starbucks, but I was surprised at how large it was inside. It is packed at all hours of the day. If you’re there, don’t plan on finding much in the way of seating especially on a rainy day.

I came here the other weekend on a Sunday mid-morning. The line was almost to the door. In some Starbucks this would be a five wait, but this Starbucks is huge! So, twenty minutes later I had my drink in hand. I must have come at the busiest time possible. Ha! The layout is very open and spacious. Like I mentioned before, this is the largest Starbucks I have ever been to. My drink was tasty and the service was great, once I got to the front. The baristas were working hard even though the line never ended. I will be back… Hopefully at a less crowded time!

The lovely woman working on Easter evening changed my opinion of this place. I swore never to go back after time and time again of waiting twenty minutes for a wrong drink or rude people working at this location making you feel dumb. Needing a boost after work I stopped in. She went above and beyond helping me find a drink I would enjoy. I normally don’t drink tea, so she offered to make me something not on the boards that tell u what they have. Asking what flavor I like which ones had caffeine etc! I believe her name was Wendy but I could be wrong! There is hope in the uptown Starbucks location!

Fantastic place if you prefer your baristas unfriendly and your service painfully & unjustifiably slow. A particular highlight this morning was getting to wait an extra 7 minutes after my sandwich had been removed from the oven so that the red hatted ‘barista’ tasked with reheating the prepackaged foods could text his friends and update his social media status with his iPhone for all the customers to see… all while the food orders continue to stack up on him. Obviously the extra topping of uncaring neglect made my already overpriced & prepackaged sandwich taste just that much better. Not surprisingly the line grew from 2 deep to 15 deep before I ever got my food. It is honestly heartwarming to see a large corporation like Starbucks making strides in retaining even their most incompetent and disinterested employees. That’s top down loyalty, something rare in this day and age. Other than that, just save yourself the headache and go to the Starbucks down at Columbus Square(SW corner of Allen St & McKinney Ave). They are much, much friendlier and the employees actually seem to enjoy working with each other. Yes parking is a pain but it’s a pain at West Village too. They do have quite a few 15min or less spots now that don’t require a parking receipt so that should help.

Not all Starbucks are created equal(ly). And after visiting this location, it’s apparent that this one has somehow managed to stand out among its counterparts. Why? 1. Location. Location. Location. It’s in the heart of Uptown, one of the most pedestrian-friendly areas in the city. Because of that you get a lively crowd of people and plenty of people-watching in: dog walkers; runners; students; coffee dates; business meetings. 2. It’s huge! One of my biggest complaints about many other Starbucks is their lack of seating space. Not here. This place is really spacious. You will likely find a table indoor or out with plenty of space to crack open your laptop and get to work.(The free WiFi is pretty fast.) 3. The staff here is friendly and pretty fast. Since they are probably used to a heavy flow of folks at all times, it’s no wonder that they are efficient and speedy with your orders.
