I’ve had gelato all over Italy, sorry people of Dallas paciugo doesn’t serve gelato. Just like the word paciugo«mean messy» in my opinion is a messy ice cream mis presenting what gelato is all about

The gelato is good(of course), but I really have to take off stars because the shop smells horrible. I kept thinking it smelled like chemicals from a hair salon every time I went in there. I finally asked, and the employee told me they had a grease pit in the back from the restaurant that used to be there and they keep bleaching it but can’t do anything else about it. If your dessert shop doesn’t smell sweet, you have a serious problem. I’m not sure how that smell doesn’t in some way permeate the product as well. It’s really vile.

Good gelato but a little pricey and that’s why it’s 4 stars. But service is excellent

Excellent gelato options, all very well presented. The peppermint hot chocolate is hands down one of the best hot chocolates I have had.

Quick look rating: 5⁄5 Food & Quality, 4⁄5 Service, 5⁄5 experience. Heaven on a cone! Coconut flavor is wonderful! The mint & chocolate is not bad either. To note:(1) The key here is to get at least two new samples DON’T be shy and then go to your choice. If you don’t sample, it’s a shame on you! Life is too short. You never know, you might something you really like. (2) Worry about getting up early and burning the calories early in the morning! (3) Go with a group. They have the cutest little sampling spoons, just in time that you and your friends can sample you close friends treat!(Don’t double dip, eh Jerry Seinfeld!) Fun place for the end of the night dates!

This is definitely a good gelato place if you’re a gelato person. Personally I’m more of an ice cream/custard person, but I still thoroughly enjoy this place. They have a wide variety of flavors, as well as various coffees and you can even do a coffee drink with gelato on top which my hubs really enjoys. They have various specials on weekdays, so check them out. My favorite is the amaretto with chocolate chips. You can mix multiple flavors in a cup which is pretty cool. I also enjoy the outdoor seating. Parking can be a pain in West Village.

I’m a dessert fan, an eat cake for breakfast kind of girl, but I am super picky about my guilty pleasures. After noshing froyo for years, this place took me by surprise. How often can you eat a dessert that every single bite tastes as good as the first? The Sea Salt Caramel does it for me. Throw in a few rotating flavors & I’m a happy girl. I prefer this location to Lovers & Northpark because you can STILL order 3 flavors jammed in a small cup without attitude. XOXO my delicious friend

Lots of interesting flavors to choose from. I tried the salted caramel and toasted coconut. It was pretty good but a tad too sweet for my taste. Cute little tables and benches to sit on outside :)

Best gelato you’ll ever have. What else do you want me to say? They give you free spoonfuls to taste the various flavors. This gelato is perfect, the flavors taste natural and amazing. Service is great.

I’m an ice cream person. Not pudding, or yogurt or frozen custard. Typical of a tastebud limited, «play it safe» type dude. So I was dragged into this place and instantly my horizons were expanded. Not only are there a variety of phenomenal flavors, but there are also opportunities to sample various flavors to see what suits your fancy. I tried the mango, cookies and cream, pineapple, and was impressed by the texture, the richness of the flavor on my pallet. I enjoyed the bang for my buck$ as well. My total was just under $ 5 for a cup with four flavors. Not bad for a very good product. This is a great spot to go with a date, some buddies, your kids, or solo. I wasn’t impressed with the décor because it was outdated and was almost in need of duct tape. I would appreciate a place in west village to be a tad more pleasant on my eyeballs. Other than, I felt like the service was friendly knowledgeable and proactive. Things I mentioned will earn my patronage and I’ll bring a friend.

Fun date place to grab gelato. Tons of choices and always fresh. The waffle cones are tasty though I would suggest a bowl as you get more ice cream. The coffee, double chocolate and Mediterranean are on point. About $ 10 for 2 which is ok. If your in West Village craving something sweet, go in and try a few samples before selecting something. It’s good

Stopped by for some dessert and to cool off from the heat after brunch. I lovedddd how much selection they had for sorbet! Most places only have 1 – 2 options but this place had like at least 4! And all the flavors were good flavors too! You can even mix and match! I went with the smallest cup they had which turned out to be like a medium size even though it was listed as «small.» Big portions for a reasonable price! I mixed strawberry with lemon to create a strawberry lemonade cup. I probably could’ve passed on the lemon though, a little too tart for my taste buds. The strawberry was delicious though! Cute little shop to stop by if you’re in the area.

This is definitely some of the better gelato I’ve had! Their flavor selection is pretty standard for gelato places, but the flavors are really intense and concentrated. A small was more than enough to satisfy a frozen treat craving :) They also serve really good iced coffee, and had some pretty unique drinks like espresso shakes(espresso + gelato!). They also had a lot of specials for different days of the week, a plus for gelato places since they tend to be on the pricier side. I would recommend this place for sure!

Paciugo«Pa-choo-go» has a wide variety that is always changing! It’s located in a very fancy, up-scale area in the West of 7th. + Free parking for 2 hours w/validation + Creamy gelato + Plenty of seating + Options of coffee /espresso smoothies

This Paciugo has some truly quality gelato in a great location(the heart of West Village). It’s a tiny little shop, so not a lot of seating options, but the best thing to do is grab a cup of gelato and wander around the West Village area, taking in the shops. Or even better, grab a cone and go see a movie at The Magnolia! There are a great variety of flavors, including non-dairy and sugar-free options. You can taste as many flavors as you like, so go crazy! Try the Texas Sea Salt Pecan, you won’t regret it.

Located in a sweet nice shopping/dining area I found this great dessert spot! Made it just in time for their Happy Hour! Seriously wanted to try ALL of the flavors but you can only try up to 3 :/ I decided to get the pistachio almond… MMMmmmMMmm soooo good! I tried the coconut too but I sick with the pistachio almond!

Delizioso! The gelato here ROCKS! Seriously. I’m a snob on gelato. Trust me. A paisano like me knows a thing or two about gelato. This is quality. Amongst the best in the states. DOIT! It makes you happy! Cin cin!

I’ve been visiting Paciugo for a while now and honestly, it just doesn’t seem as delicious as it once was. Or perhaps I’ve tried much better gelato and they can’t compete anymore. The texture seems a bit watery(which is so, so wrong) and the flavor isn’t anything to brag about. However I do enjoy the variety available(I had a combo of strawberry-lavendar and campfire banana, for example). Staff here is usually pretty friendly and this spot in particular is always a fun place to hang out.
