Pizza here is fantastic. This is my go to place for when I’m craving pizza, which isn’t all that often. I’ve ordered the Dallas heat, margherita, and the garlic Parmesan wings. Dallas heat is so good. One of my all time faves. The garlic Parmesan wings looked too creamy, but once I gave them a chance, I couldn’t stop eating. These wings are fire

Mhmmmmm! This brick-oven pizza is the real deal without any doubt. I definitely recommend«The Dallas» fresh and not take-out. Also, ask for some special Cesar Spicy dipping sauce. I found out only because I asked for ranch, and this was the substitute.

This pizza is phenomenal. I got the lunch special: Pizza, Cannoli, and a drink for around $ 11.95. The pizza is about 10″ personal size. The crust is great and you can taste the«wood fired» taste. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area.

Love this place! Always try to get there right at or before 11 because it gets crowded quickly. Have tried several different pizzas, all good but keep going back to the prosciutto and arugula. So yummy! The only downside is take out. Even though I only live 15mins away, the center of the pizza gets super soggy in the box. Definitely eat there if you can, no need to drive to Cane Russo anymore!

Been coming here for a couple of years. Excellent food and service every time. Made to order pizza with super thin and crispy crust, just the way I like it. The ingredients are high in quality and fresh every time. The salad is fresh and lightly dressed. Although once in a while, you’ll get the crust a little burnt. All in all, great food and service, that’s why I keep coming back!

Some of the best pizza I’ve had… anywhere. I always get a personal sized New York pizza with pepperoni and smoked mozzarella. Hard to go wrong… that smoky cheese will spoil you.

This pizza was amazing! The only reason it didn’t get 5 stars is because it was a little pricey. We got 2 of their recommended pizzas, 12in(personal pizza) and the total came to around $ 28. We didn’t get drinks and for the pizza to go. We got the Meat Trip and one with mushroom. Delicious. Crisp chewy crust and super fresh toppings. It was a bit of a drive to here from Fort Worth but if I am in the neighborhood and craving pizza I would go back!!!

My favorite pizza place by far. Love that you’re able to watch them make your pizza . Great dessert pizzas as well. Awesome date place. It’s also BYOB. The only down side is their hours. Tried to take friends that were out of state more than once they were closed.

Décor: 4⁄5 Service: 4⁄5 Food: 5⁄5 Get here before noon on a weekday to avoid the lunch rush. Credit card is accepted. Each pizza is made to order obviously and if you beat the lunch rush, it takes about 8 minutes for the pizza to be served. I ordered the Cavalli favorite — Margherita pizza with pepperoni($ 9+tax). I’m usually not a crust guy but the crust was so good I ate the whole pizza and 90% of the crust. 10/10, would come back for more Cavalli Pizza.

Let’s face it — pizza hits the spot whether it’s some gourmet white sauce organic pizza or some good olé supermarket frozen pizza at midnight. But Cavalli definitely gets it right for some classic thin crust Neopolitan style pizza. The place is small(order at the counter, and they bring your pizza to the table), but the pizza is good. Cavalli’s pizza hits my mark where other(oftentimes overrated) thin crust pizza places don’t; the pizza dough is not too salty, and the pizza is not soggy in the middle. With good topping combos and fresh-tasting ingredients, not to mention BYOB and some pretty solid salads, Cavalli will be on my regular pizza rotation.

What an awesome place. I got the Diavola and it was amazing. The homemade sausage was ONPOINT! I would also suggest the Legend… it looked fantastic. The wait was kind of long but for the price and quality of pizza you get, I would definitely say it’s worth it. Also, it’s BYOB. Good Pizza, BYOB, I’m not sure it gets better than that! Came back to Dallas and HAD to come back. Tried The Dallas pizza. Just as good if not better than the Diavola. We love this place and will come back every time we come to Dallas.

Pretty good place. The pizza is wood fired and I liked it. They prep their own ingredients, meats, veggies, etc. It was surprisingly fast from the time I ordered. They were pretty busy, but I had my Pizza in less than 10 minutes… more like 7~8? The clientele seemed to be more families and and an older crowd.(Which I appreciated) The staff is very friendly and the place is relaxed. It’s like the Starbucks of the Pizza world: Bring a book, a bottle if wine, order a pizza — they are pretty fast, and wood fired yet! — and hang out. And not an electrical outlet in sight, so leave your computers at home!(This is a good thing sometimes!!) Worth the trip.

Pretty good pizza. Don’t order other things. The first time I visited Cavalli’s, I got something that wasn’t pizza. It wasn’t very good, so I didn’t go back until I saw Cavalli’s listed as one of the top 5 pizza’s in Dallas. For my second visit, I got the pizza. It was pretty good, but the crust was a bit soggy. Still, I would go back. Cavalli’s would benefit from just making pizzas because I think that’s what they do best. Putting other things on the menu just increases the probability that a customer doesn’t come back.

Small restaurant but great pizza. My sister and I met up here for lunch, and it was packed. You order at the counter, and they bring it out to you. We decided to split the spicy meat personal pizza and ordered a side ceasar salad. The personal is big enough to feed 2 people. The pizzas are thin crust, and they make it fresh. The salad was pretty good, but the pizza was GOOD!!! Service was pretty good, so I’ll definitely come back. Oh, this place is also BYOB.

My husband had a meeting in Irving this morning, so we had lunch in Irving! Thanks to a recent Irving Talk thread I had some places in mind that I wanted to try. Andalous looked really busy, so with my impatient, hungry crew we didn’t go there. Plus, it’s coming to Arlington soon so I can try it then. My husband wanted Dumpling House as soon as i told him about it. So we went there and they were closed. Wth, DH! Sorry, Cavalli you weren’t my first choice, but you didn’t disappoint! I am watching my waist line, so Pizza wasn’t the most ideal place for me since it’s not exactly the healthiest, but oh well. I’m good most days :). Cavalli’s serves up wood fire pizza. You go through the line, order your food, get a number and sit down. We got the large Contadina pizza. Ingredients were fresh! Mozarella, tomato sauce, mushroom, sausage, and basil. It was light and thin. Not full of breading. It reminded me of Cane Rosso. It was pretty good. The service was good. We were the only ones in there practically. The carbonation went out on the soda fountain so the water and all the drinks tasted horrible. We got drinks from the cooler/fridge instead and the girl didn’t charge us for it. I also got the Italian chicken wings. These chicken wings come in a homemade garlic Parmesan sauce. A garlicky sauce with big chunks of Parmesan. I loved them. They were sooo good. What was better than the chicken wings? Dipping the pizza and crust into the garlic parm sauce. Yum. I would definitely be back!

Love this place. The Meat Trio is my favorite. And they use San Marzano tomatoes so the sauce is amazingly fresh tasting. Their meats are so flavorful and tender. Can’t go wrong with this place.

Seriously the best pizza in Texas. My office always orders for here for lunches but I took my daughter for pizza tonight and it’s even better there. They have an awesome wood burning oven and everyone that works there is super nice. It’s like eating with family. This may be one of the best kept secrets in this area. We had the homemade sausage & pepperoni and it was simply WOW! Why would anyone order from one of the big chains when they can eat here. For the same price as the chains… Why not order something that is actually pizza. I’ll be going back every time it’s pizza night.

This place has been on my bookmark for a while because they have such a good review on Unilocal. It was a perfect time I had a chance to try it out on Saturday dinner. It is sad that my first time here didn’t really impress me. Cavalli is a small wood-fired pizza joint. The atmosphere is just so small to me because of their small dining area and not enough table for customers. There were a lot of people waiting when me and my boyfriend came in. Luckily, we got the last table. I feel like this place is more like grab-and-go wood-fired pizza. We ordered a large pizza, half Dallas half Margherita, with two drinks for $ 24. It was alright, not cheap not expensive, quite reasonable. Their staffs were friendly. Finally our pizza came up. Wow. our pizza here was giant 16 inches for a large pizza. BUTITWASBURNT! It was yummy but it was burnt! I personally liked their chewy dough, and it would have been better if they didn’t burn our pizza. I just feel like the pizza should have been taken out of the oven about 1 minute sooner. The crust was a bit hard and crispy. Cavalli is in my top 5 for pizza joints in DFW area. I would definitely come back and give them a try another time. However, there are a few other places that I would choose before coming back here due to me not being blown away. This place is good for quick dinner more than like laid back or relaxing place or anything.
