Great coffee and fun concept. The food wasn’t the greatest but probably would be better late night. Huge portions but a little too overdone on the amount of ingredients in their egg omelets.

We came around 11. The food was great. High quality. We got a stuffed chicken breast and a chicken dish with black beans and guacamole. Also a stuffed pig quesadilla. Tasty and a new favorite spot. 24⁄7 awesome.

Good coffee! You won’t find coffee snobs here but you will find coffee laced with chipotle peppers or maple syrup! Unlimited coffee refills for under $ 3 and a to go cup when you leave. It’s a great deal! Plus I had two cups and want jittery afterwards but very much awake for my plane ride. The food is on point. You will have healthy choices and not so healthy choices. Their black beans comes with feta cheese and Oh is it delightful. I had the amigas platter with chicken. It was a good sized portion and I was full until dinner(we ate at 10:30am). I’m very much looking forward to coming back here next time I’m in town. The menu has something for everyone!

I’ve been coming to this location regularly for 7 years. The food has generally been consistent and good. However, management here all too often ignores or puts off necessary restaurant maintenance. The ceiling just inside the entrance had severe water damage and a water bucket to catch drips has been a common sight. The ceiling above the bathroom hallway also had this same problem. More recently the wifi hasn’t been working at all. The night manager told me the wifi hadn’t been working for 2 days and that someone was coming to look at it the next day. When I told him that I likely knew how to fix it he just shrugged his shoulders. I’m giving up on Buzzbrews. Management is too apathetic and it shows in the degraded dining experience.

This place is what the waffle house wants to be but can’t. Classic American food with a personal touch of a hand crafted menu. It’s a throw back to classic 1970s diner. Must try.

My wife, stepson and I ended up here late on Christmas Eve, due largely to a dearth of open dining spots at the time. But what we found is a place worth going back to, any time. The location doesn’t look like much from the outside; it’s very small and not shiny and new like so many places. It’s essentially the«official» dining spot of a surrounding Best Western motel. Shoot, the restrooms aren’t even inside the restaurant, there in a hallway behind the place. But don’t let any of that distract you. This business, born from the mind of a former Café Brazil manager, seeks to hit about the same demographic as the ubiquitous breakfast spot, with some differences and similarities. The«all you can drink» coffee bar was here, and I partook of both the bananas foster and peanut butter flavors, both separately and together as a sort of nod to the late great Elvis. Both had good flavor, but might have fared a little better with a stronger brew. On the food front, we scored pretty big. Starting with the Chee-z Garlic Marbles, a dish of garlic infused new potato chunks with a good smattering(but not smothering) of cheese, sour cream, bacon and chives, this dish delivered awesome, cheesy, bacony flavor in just the right quantity for three to share. I then selected the Mr C., which features shopmade chorizo, sautéed onion and red bell pepper with scrambled eggs, and melted cheddar and mozzarella. Riding along were more garlic marbles, pico, a whole jalapeño pepper, and two warm corn tortillas. The chorizo was spicy and perhaps chopped a little too fine, but still, it made for an excellent dish and solid leftovers the next day. I also had to try a side of the«griddle toast», their version of French toast, made with a nice sourdough(but not too«holey») bread, It had just the right amount of egg coating, and was cooked perfectly. A slathering of butter and a splash of maple syrup was all it needed for my taste buds; my attempt at only eating half of it failed miserably. Sampling the pancakes from my wife’s plate, they were fluffy and tasty, certainly good quality flapjacks. They works well for leftovers, too. In the end, we had a great meal, in a cool, VERY casual atmosphere and found a place that we’ll go back to when we’re looking for some great food.

We were craving some late night diner food so buzzbrews was an obvious choice. I always think of buzzbrews as a more hipster, more elevated IHOP. Came at 930 on a weekday and there was no wait. However, this place is ittty-bitty so don’t be surprised if during rush times, it’s super packed and slow. Out of all the dishes I tried(it’s always important to bring friends that will let you nibble off their plates), I have to say the bluto was definitely the best. My friend got the crêpe version and it was yummy filled with an awesome chorizo. The potatoes on the side were spicy and the whole dish was packed with flavor. My «amigas» egg dish was low on salt, which I think is how every restaurant should do it. Because then not only do you get to personally control the amount of salt you throw on, but you can choose to just pair it with the sausage. I’d choose sausage all the way.(No dirty pun intended). Overall, a great dish since it came with tortillas and black beans. I was definitely super full. Great late night dining or brunch place!

Ordered the Bluto — omelette style, with a side of Garlic Marbles. Every bite was perfect! I will definitely recommend this place to anyone! Yum!

Amazing food, service, atmosphere, & coffee. We’re regulars at this location & will continue to be. No complaints! Definitely something to try if you’re in Dallas visiting or just have never been. Even my more traditional mother loves this place.

We came here for breakfast! This place is small but efficient! We sat at the bar area & we didn’t wait long for our food! Service was great as well! Super hard to pick a certain entrée but we did! I loved the food! It reminded me of Honduras. I forgot what it was called but I had two corn tortillas 2 eggs over easy, cilantro, sauce and black beans with avocado. I tried everything individually and I loved it! I would most definitely come back here again! And for the price you really any beat It!

Food was great. Had the Bluto. Cool vibe in the place. Iced coffees were really good. Smaller place. Not great for groups. Would return.

I’ve never had one bad thing here. Ever. Everything hits the spot here, ESPECIALLY on late nights, after the club. They have EVERYTHING! Yes, it is a little hole in the wall. you do have to wait on some nights for a table, but it’s so worth it. I’ve been here on many occasions, the waiters are all nice, laid back, you might have to remind them a time or two to get you something that you asked for multiple times, but it’s ok. The food makes up for all of that. Two things in particular they have perfected, in my opinion and that I must speak about: Pit Grill Griddle Toast and the French Connection. Both of them will change your life. The menu here is so big, so no matter how many times you go, unless you fall in love with something, you never know what to get. Most of the times that I go, I always get something savory, but this time, I changed it up. I was craving either French toast or pancakes. Whichever one that I did choose, I knew I’d be happy regardless. The Pit Grill Griddle Toast. I made my selection and I’m telling you, I cleaned every corner of that plate. First off, the pieces of griddle toast are grilled to where the middle is still soft and moist and the outsides, the edges are crunchy. Then, they’re sprinkled with powdered sugar, walnuts and two heaping scoops of butter. Sugar overload for sure. When all of that is smeared all over both pieces of toast, then drizzle and marinated in that REAL Vermont maple syrup, oh man! You literally, well I literally, could not stop eating forkful after forkful. I can’t believe I had been missing out on this! Then you got your savory, your salty, your seasoned… the French Connection. Whoever introduced me to this dish, I thank them from the bottom of my heart. You get two crepes, stuffed, and I do mean stuffed, with all the good things: Grilled chicken, tomatoes, button and Portobello mushrooms which I love, spinach, Anaheim peppers and then covered ever so gently with this poblano cream sauce, feta and cheddar cheese. What is there not to like?! When it all comes together, it’s a masterpiece. If all else fails, I definitely go for this, you can’t go wrong at all. Buzzbrews is that place to go to relax, kick back, eat good, talk loud even and not worry about the place trying to rush you out the door because it’s closing time. It’s eclectic, fun, chill, friendly and has all-you-can-drink coffee. You gotta love it!

I love finding diner-like breakfast spots. This one definitely lived up to the reviews. Food was fantastic. I got the Mean Black Bean Omelet and it was de-lish. My husband got the Miss Piggy Crepes and looked Ah-mazing! The portions are the perfect size. Great prices, great service! The only thing I think I didn’t like was the parking. It’s in the same lot as a hotel so parking was small and scarce. There are some spots mixed in with hotel parking, just look around a bit.

I hope you like crying in public, because that’s how good Buzzbrews is. Wow. Just wow. Upon the overwhelming suggestion of the Unilocal community, we got the Bluto, which was fantastic. Also tried the Miss Piggy and Banana Walnut Pancakes(sweet Jesus). Five different coffees at a self-serve coffee bar, ranging from basic to almond chipotle. We were in town for a wedding and this was the first Dallas restaurant we visited. I almost feel bad for every restaurant that came after; all we did was compare it to Buzzbrews(no surprise here: nothing came even close). So sad we live so far away. Is seven hours too far to drive for breakfast?

Has it really taken me 11 years to finally review Buzzbrews?! That’s how long I’ve been coming here and I’ve never actually reviewed the place. Shame on me! In the high-stakes competition for hangover-fighting diners in this city, Buzzbrews is the almighty champion in my book. Open 24⁄7? Check. Really good food? Check. Laid-back, friendly service? Check? Weird hotel location? Check. The thing that sets Buzzbrews apart from other diners in Dallas is their unique ingredients and menu creativity. However, I am guilty of almost always ordering the same thing. Those crepes! They are too delicious to pass up. I love to «stuff my own» to create the perfect combination of ingredients. And that crêpe sauce, though! It goes with just about anything. They’ve got self-serve coffee here as well with at least a half-dozen types of brewed coffee each day to suit every coffee palate. I’ve brought several friends or family members here for the first time and they have always loved it. And even though this location is tiny, I have only had to wait for a table once. No time of day is inappropriate for Buzzbrews from breakfast to beyond late night. I’ve been to the other Buzzbrews locations of course but this location will always be my favorite.

Love this location every single time I’ve been here except for once when they ran out of every drink I wanted. That was weird. Anyways I usually get the french connection because it tastes amazing. The greenish looking sauce they use is so delicious and pretty much makes the whole meal. So much flavor. The marbles(potatoes) that come on the side are really good as well. I’ve tried the banana nut pancakes and loved it. The Harry Krishna and it was good too. Anything with avocados is great to me though. The quesadillas are good. I’ve tried both the chicken one and the one with black beans and I personally prefer the black beans. The marshmallow latte is so good too and it’s huge

My husband’s days off usually begins with«find us something new to do» or «find us something new to eat». I was 5 steps ahead of him because I discovered Unilocal BOOKMARKS! I seen the pictures of the banana nut pancakes on Buzzbrews’ website and I knew he would love those bad boys. We made the drive to Dallas. First to the Deep Ellum location. Parking was a pain and my husband doesn’t have the patience, so we went to this location. I got the Mrs. C and he of course got the banana nut pancakes. They don’t have a kids menu so you can special order their meal which was awesome. They got a pancake each and eggs. What more can be said about Mrs. C? I love her. What is there not to love about chicken and eggs mixed with cheese, onions, peppers, and tomatoes! Those banana nut pancakes though. They were pretty amazing and damn near the best pancakes I ever tasted.

This place is awesome! Well, Buzzbrews is awesome in general. This is the second one I’ve been to, besides the one in Deep Ellum. This location is pretty small and cramped and right next to a motel. There’s limited parking. However, they’re open 24 hours, the food is fantastic. I have only had breakfast food here. What goes better with breakfast than some iced coffee? Buzzbrews’ Iced Toddy is delicious. The flavor is smooth and sweet and it provides just the right about of buzz. I’ve had the banana nut pancakes and the French toast. Both are so good! They have generous serving sizes and its so hard to part with the food that I can’t eat. Even though the food is great, I wouldn’t come here on a weekend before noon because it’s so cramped and crowded. There’s nowhere in the restaurant for you to wait for a seat and if you get one of the tables in the center, people will constantly be bumping into your chair when they go to get coffee. If you’re looking for breakfast during the weekend brunch rushes, try the other, larger locations in Deep Ellum or on Lemmon Ave.

Yummmmm. I came here on my way out of town on my cousin’s recommendation and I’m so glad I did. We got right in, but shortly after we arrived, it seemed like they went on a wait. Very small diner feel, but the food is amazing! Also on my cousin’s recommendation, I had the bluto crepes and my sister had the bluto omelette(or «stuffed eggs» as they call them). Everything went so well together — chorizo, bacon, onions, jalapenos, tomatoes… I could be forgetting things, but it was delicious and exactly the kind of breakfast I like. I LOVE crepes, both sweet and savory, but I think of them more on the sweet side so I was curious how it would go together. It was great. The crêpe was not too sweet at all and was just a really nice texture to go with the meat and veggies. The toast and fruit were decent too. We also had the bananas foster coffee — Oh. My. God. It was so good. I’m guilty of putting sugar and cream in my coffee, so most of the time, when I have flavored coffee, my add-ins cancel it out and I can’t even taste the«flavor.» However, this was some of the best coffee I’ve ever had and I wish I could buy it and make it at home. The banana flavor was strong(in a good way) with a hint of sugary/caramely sweetness. I’m not sure which was better — the crepes or the coffee! I will say the service was not good at all, but I wouldn’t not go back because of it. The food was that good! Having said that, we could hardly understand a word the server was saying and we were tucked away in the corner so it seems like we might have gotten forgotten. It wasn’t awful, but definitely could have been better. I’m keeping this at five stars though because the crepes and coffee were just so good.
