Denny’s

The people are nice here but the service is unexceptional. Every time we go to Denny’s it seems like we have to wait forever just to get our drink order as well as our food order. The restaurant seems clean and well staffed wich leads me to believe there is a problem with management.

We waited over 35 minutes for our order, one was chicken fried steak skillet, the other was lumberjack. was told several times chicken fried skillet was taking a little longer. They held my lumberjack slam until the skillet order was done, my entire order was cold. cold eggs, cold pancakes. The waiter said sorry about wait, so I gave you coffee free. The chicken fried steak was overcooked. $ 23 bucks for 2. I ate one bite of pancakes, cold. slow to refill coffee. WILL NOT RECOMMEND

I’ve been here for an hour and so far i haven’t gotten my food, it took 20 minutes to get my coffee and it hasn’t been refilled since. I’ve never walked out before food came but I’m about to.

The Food was gross, the sever name Lakendria E kept watching me like i was going to runway or something, the food was too oily, this place smell like a nursing home,
Stay Away from that location, undoubtedly would try the IHOP next time.

This place is a dump. This neighborhood deserves so much better. Food bad, inside is dirty and gross, the place needs to be closed down.

Everything was undercooked, fruit looked old and dirty as well as the place. To top things off my husbands food had a hair. Gross! Never coming back!

I write this review because I was one of «those» drunk a-​holes who came into this Denny’s at 2:30 am after the bars close because I wanted to get my munchies on. Hats off to the staff at this location!!! They are so friendly and patient with the «late night» crowd. Our server was so nice to us and immediately brought us huge ice waters so we could «hydrate» my friend even brought a coupon to use for his meal and there was no attitude about it. She even split our checks for us. I wish I could remember her name, she was great. I think it started with an M… and she had brown hair. Ok now I’m rambling, but the food itself is your standard Denny’s fare: hits the spot and absorbs those Jack and Cokes you had earlier to make for a better Sunday morning.

I came here with my boyfriend and daughter,
Mind you she’s only 8 months,
And the hostess did not give me a high chair.
I obviously needed one because I was carrying her!
I had to get it myself.
Not only that but she also didn’t give us our silverware.
We thought maybe the waiter would give us some but nope. so I went up to the hostess station and again
Got it myself.
We ordered our food okay.
His was sizzling nice and good and mine was cold.
Never got refills
Their restrooms reeked of bad plumbing I didn’t even go in.
The place wasn’t even full,
I love Denny’s and usually go to another location.
But this one is just pathetic.

The staff was very attentive. Food came out on time… And the portions were amazing!

Absolutely horrible experience. We had three different waitresses. Never got refills on our coffee, or got the water we asked for. Only received one of two orders, and it was wrong. The place is seedy looking, and dirty. Do NOT go here.

I genuinely love denny’s for the truck stop feeling it has and this is exactly that atmosphere you get.
I ordered a double cheeseburger and got a huge burger on a plate.
The bun was a bit dry, but with so much juicy meat inside it was well compensated. The fresh onions were tasty, maybe too much…
Overall a decent big cheeseburger and good fries.

I didn’t have the best experience dining at this particular Denny’s. I hadn’t been to a Denny’s in about 8 years, so I wanted to remind my taste buds of what I was missing. I quickly found out I wasn’t missing out on anything. For starters, we had to wait inside for 10 minutes before being greeted by the waitress/​hostess. She finally put our name on a piece of paper after screaming out loud, «WHO’S NEXT»? We waited 30 more minutes before being seated. (It was on a Saturday around 11am). The restaurant looked very dirty. We were finally seated at a booth that had food all over the seats and table.
I ended up ordering a pancake, along with the ham/​egg/​cheese sandwich. The sandwich came out looking like it was slapped together by a child. Luckily, the sandwich did taste ok. On the other hand, the pancakes were not good. They were gooey with no real flavor.
As I am walking out of the restaurant partially satisfied, I see a huge roach on the sidewalk right outside the door… in the broad daylight. I won’t return.

I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with this location. Service was professional and friendly. Manager was very polite and courteous. Food hit the spot late night. :)

I have been frequenting this Denny’s location late at night and I have to say; the staff has consistently been very courteous and friendly.
As for the food, it is most safe to stick to breakfast fare. On the few occasions that I have ordered dinner selections, I was rather disappointed. There are however; several breakfast items that are surprisingly well done.
The scrambled eggs are delicious. I have had them a few times and they are consistently fluffy and flavorful. The hashbrowns are tasty too.
I have to give a thumbs down to their bacon and sausage. The bacon is not crisp and looks sad. As for their sausage– I took one bite and declared that I was done with it. The grease content was off the charts and made for a very unpleasant sensation.
Now for the part you have been waiting for… the pancakes. The pancakes themselves are delicious– however, I am very disappointed at the Denny’s chain for even thinking of teaming up this fluffy, yummy pancake batter with dull, lifeless, whipped butter spread. We all know the difference and no one is fooled. Even the syrup is more than adequate in the flavor realm, but it is this choosing to pair these otherwise well chosen pancake components with the artificial butter that is such a disappointment. My advice… sneak in your own butter.
The atmosphere here is unimaginative and is not in anyway enhanced by the flat screens playing a constant loop of a Denny’s themed television channel. It’s rather obnoxious and I always find myself avoiding even looking in that direction so I do not have to adsorb any of it’s banality.
As mentioned in the opening of this review, the service here is great, and I think it is this consistent plus that has pushed and otherwise 2 star restaurant experience, into three star territory. The food can be hit or miss, but overall it is a good value.

Typical diner setting. Every Denny’s must have one of those claw game machines. Its a must!

It could be hit or miss, and it depends on the time of the day, how many people are seated at the time, and whether or not your server is having a bad day.
On the upside, if your server is having a good day, and is not too tired or not too busy then she will give you extra bacon. Yes, Extra bacon.

You will have a home to go to at 4.23am if you are drunk and need to eat a lumber jack breakfast ASAP to sober up.

Seems like management at this location has been the worse of all the Denny’s I know. I have my sweet friend Kathy she always waits on us she’s really good. I just don’t understand the manager’s job. I see people trying to pay, but no cashier. The place is always busy, but manager is never around to help. The other day we order some chicken strips, but «no more» we have order some food, but don’t have it… that place is a mess… it was ok for a while, but they changed the manager.
The waiters are really good, they just need a good manager to help around.
I stopped going few years back because of poor management… Well have no choice but to go back to IHOP excellent service over there!!!

I always come in here after I get out of work at 2 am. mona and kimberly are really great waitresses. They work the overnight shift. so far everybody else in our waiter has sucked. The other waiters either get the order wrong or they cant understand simple explanations of how I want my food prepared. I always leave very good tips for mona and kimberly
