Lalala… what absolut vanilla in my milkshake?! goodbye, cherry on top! …but if you’re a merichino fan, order one of the other seven adult treats(~$ 7). Let’s talk about the solid food: I ordered the Hangover Burger with sweet potato fries(~$ 9), the latter which was like sweet potatoes reincarnated… for a life of large drops of salt and grease that greased out any semblance of a vegetable(besides the orange color). The burger itself involved a thin meat patty next to a fried egg with tomatoes and lettuce thrown into the mix with an understated drizzle of «special sauce.» Burger was better than fries, for sure, but was overall messy and greasy. I’m apologizing to my tummy as we speak… My friend ordered an avocado sandwich(~$ 9), which looked good between the crispy yellow toast. We didn’t drink, but there’s happy hour from 3 – 8PM Monday-Saturday. And that means trouble for some of you out there when there are $ 2 domestics. I’ll have to come back — for other than meat or greasy goodness(which is… a contradictory statement): «adult» shakes, beer, and to grace the cute patio space.

Cute location, okay food… I definitely was not impressed. My burger was average and the service was slow. Meh.

Fried pickles are good BUT the hangover Hamburger is overrated and so are most of the other burgers. Not imaginative buns is simplistic meat is semi dry with no flavor I tasted a hint of pepper but that didn’t do anything for the burger. Service was excellent but the food could have been much much better

Great drink specials. Probably the best on the block I’ve seen. The girls here are friendly and eager. I have never had to wait. I do miss the kitchen manager Alex, though.

Can’t think of anything negative to say. Staff was very friendly, even the G.M. walked around shaking hands. I had the hangover burger and gorgonzola fries. Delicious!!! Nice patio area if your with that special someone. Struck me as a great place for a date or power lunch. This may be my new spot. Will definitely be back soon and often.

I hate to give it 3 stars since I did finish my plate. Its amazing how much awkwardness a new waitress can add to a single meal. She was sooo weird! If you are looking for restaurant food, maybe like Chilis, then I would say its Mediocre food. If you are looking for a bar, and some decent pub food, then I would call this food GREAT! I wouldn’t drive across town for it, but it was definitely fun. Great $ 2 beer specials.

I’m not real sure why La Cubanita went out of business… it was wayyyyy better than Burger Girl. I wish I would have spent my money at Whataburger, Sonic, or any other burger joint for that matter. The Hangover Burger I ordered was greasy and flavorless. I didn’t think you could make a greasy burger that had no flavor. I thought greasy = flavor. Hmmmm… it will remain a mystery. Can I also just say, I’m so over the female waitresses in short shorts baring midriffs. I think this concept may have been good at one time but someone should seriously come up with something a little more original or at least have a frikkin good burger to make up for the lack of originality!

I am not sure why so many people only give Burger Girl 3 stars. My wife and I went there last night and had a great experience. The waitstaff was prompt and courteous and the food was excellent. We both had a hangover burger and thought that it was great. We also tried the breaded sweet potato fries and waffle fries and they were both crispy and tasty. Another plus was the $ 2 beers during happy hour. Would I say that Burger Girl is my favorite burger place in Dallas? No. But I would definatelly put them in my top 10. I especially like the fact that they get their beef from a local butcher. Burger Girl was a hit on the food, service and atmosphere.

This place reminds me a lot of in and out. I don’t know why they only got 3 stars but the hangover burger was great. The service was great! Since my friend and I just ate and wasn’t that hungry, they offered right away to split our burger in two platters with regular fries and sweet potatoes. The sweet potatoes fries are a must try with horseradish sauce. The patty was cooked just right. The buns were soft and vegetables fresh. I’m definitely coming back on an empty stomach.

Meh is right. I already had a grudge against this place as it is in the spot of the former La Cubanita– which I LURVED. However, it is close to my house and not far from work so today I gave it a go with a friend. Our server was really great, she was right on point with my diet cokes and kept my glass full at all times. The service all around was really good. But…the burger. Big Fat Meh. Thin patty, no real flavor to the meat. My burger had a really strange tangy flavor from something, it was not favorable. It was not the meat(flavorless), I did not have cheese on my burger, and I did not use the special sauce, so this was really mind boggling. And I did not like it. Sweet potato fries were a’ight…a little soggy. The special sauce on the side is the same as Raising Canes special sauce(ie– thousand island and pepper). I would come try this place again… but maybe lean towards the BLT or grilled cheese. The burger just was not cutting it… especially when Twisted Root is close by…

Burger Girl is just OK. I probably would not go back even though I’m giving them 3 stars. I ordered the chicken sandwich with bacon and cheese. It was pretty good but half the bacon was fatty. I got my fries loaded and they were ok. The cheese was melted over the fries but seemed too dry. Not ooey, gooey yummy fries. Service was good. Kind of pricey at $ 10 bucks with no drink!

3.5 stars. The burger was nothing amazing but I enjoyed eating here. I really enjoy anywhere I can walk to from home, so I was hoping Burger Girl would be a good neighborhood joint. Service was very friendly, the atmosphere was pleasant(I like how they kept the old bar from La Cubanita), the cheese fries were really good(although I would have liked a more pungent blue cheese), my BLT was amazing, and hubby’s burger was dece. It’s not really a best burger contender for me but it’s certainly passable. Hubby also really enjoyed his margarita. We’ll be back!

Went for lunch a few times. Each time thinking it would be better than the time before. Not really. The best thing I had here were the frieds and beer. Not to say the food was bad, but I was expecting a better burger. I can name several places I’d rather have a burger. Girls? Again, here in the Dallas area… several places I’d rather go and hang out. Maybe the evenings are better.

We thoroughly enjoyed Burger Girl on a weeknight, sitting on the patio with great weather. The service was awesome and our waitress(Courtney) was very friendly. I have heard a few negative things about Burger Girl but overall I had a good experience. I just wish they would get rid of the old blue and yellow awning left over from La Cubanita that doesn’t suit their décor at all. The sweet potato fries were great although my Double Patty burger was a bit on the salty side. The menu here is pretty basic but classic. I would definitely return, especially on a night when we are looking for a great patio.

Solid 4-stars. I like this place pretty well. The service seems friendly and competent. The real gravy is a lazy afternoon on a sunny day sitting on the patio watching the world(some douche bags, of course) roll by. Had the«hangover» burger with cheddar, provolone and bacon. It already has an egg on it! It was really filling – don’t even know if you need fries, especially with ice-cold beer on the table. Canned PBR was a plus. I was a big fan of the predecessor La Cubanita, but this place is a solid one as well. I think the combination of location, all-american burger fare, burger«girls» and people watching will probably do pretty well.

Wow, I am surprised to find such polarizing reviews for Burger Girl. I knew I had to check it out and see what camp I would fall into. Yes, they only employ women servers and yes they wear tight tank tops and tight jeans. These girls made their employment choice so what do I care? My friend ordered fried pickles to start with. Fried pickles can be hit or miss. But, the batter was more than just the usual concoction. I liked it. I ordered the basic burger(minus their special sauce) and fries. The burger was well seasoned and had great flavor. Ditto for the fries. And, from appetizer to main meal, everything was served pipin hot. Our waitress had the right mix of aloofness and attentiveness to suit my preference. I hate overly cheery servers but she was nice enough and always had our drinks full. The dining area is pretty cramped so I can see how this may grate some nerves … especially if packed. You are elbow to elbow with your neighbor. Luckily, we sat outside where the only annoyance was the smokers. I would try Burger Girl again and see if I just had a lucky encounter.

I hadn’t spent much time in the Uptown area since I stopped working down there about 12 years ago, but I was down in Dallas to pick up a hometown friend from his hotel and show him a good time. I saw Burger Girl driving down McKinney and thought a patio and idea of a good burger was a good place to start. Aside from all being beautiful, the all-female staff was super friendly, and Nicole, our waitress, was by our table every 5 minutes to top-off drinks and see to our needs. I had a single-patty bacon cheeseburger with fries, and it was fantastic! My buddy had the gorgonzola waffle fries appetizer and really enjoyed it as well. After dinner, we had ice cream cones(fun factor people, we all love ice cream) and I thanked the manager for a great time. I highly recommend this place, it’s a real burger joint and not some fancy-pants la-de-da uptight bistro.

If you want to rank by DFW boobage huts then I’d have to go Twin Peaks, NSL, Hooters, Burger Girl then Bone Daddy’s. Obviously this business plan works to an extent but you gotta have the food to back up the ta-ta’s. I got the hangover burger with bacon which is your basic burger with a fried egg. I’ve had this once before, at Red Robin I think, the burger was overloaded with the fru fru and lacking in the patty department. Patty was on the thinner side and overcooked. Too much onion and it fell apart after I was halfway through it. But I’d be back to sit on the patio, people watch, or catch a game. Now the girls were friendly and provided very good service. I think our waitress was really into me … or she knows flirting = bigger tip. I said tip.

Very mediocre. With all of the great restaurants in the Knox/Henderson area, this one is totally out of place. The food isn’t «bad», its just the standard run-of-the-mill stuff you would get at any Sonic or Whataburger. I had the fish and chips burger. It could have been a Ms. Pauls on a Ms. Bairds. No toasted bread, shredded lettuce, no taste. Fries were just OK. My wife had the grilled cheese. Nothing special there either and her fries were not fully cooked. The whole vibe of the place put me off, too. Very flirtatious(the waitress sat at our table when we placed our order and totally ignored my wife). I don’t wish any business bad luck, but I really don’t see Burger Girl surviving in this location.
