A true Philly hoagie… delicious! I loved the family atmosphere and the EAGLE football team wall!!! So nice to find a bit of home in Colorado!

THE place in the Springs for Philly Cheese Steaks! I’m not from Philly, but a friend of mine that lives here locally that’s from Philly recommended Trivelli’s to me. Well, he certainly knows what he’s talking about because their sandwiches are crazy delicious! On top of that, the staff is very friendly and the service is quick. I told another friend about Trivelli’s and he’s now hooked too! FIVESTARS!

Absolutely love this joint… The family atmosphere along with the most amazing sandwiches for a great price in the Springs hands down. One full size sandwich made exactly how you want, it is plenty for two.

They’e been around for forever because their hoagies are delish. They are HUGE and a a half is more than enough for anyone. But I’ve gotta say, Taste of Philly is still the best for cheesesteaks in town.

Awesome little family shop and great atmosphere. I love little homemade places like this that take pride in what they do. Service was excellent and food was good, gotta try it!

Today I made the trek back to give them another try. I opted for a Rock Star over the Philly Cheasesteak. It was deliciously messy and satisfying, delivered by folks with genuinely warm smiles. I’ll be back again.

Been coming here since 2000. Delicious food. French fries are the best.

Fast and friendly. I was just walking by noticed the sign. It is an older establishment but it had great food. I had the chicken hoagie. It was full of flavor and fresh! I didn’t have to wait but 5 minutes to have may sandwich in hand walking out the door. The theme is sports and it could use a face lift but that should stop you from having a few good sandwiches. I rated it down one star for the price. It is a little high. Great place overall for a lunch rush!

Amazingly fresh food, exceptional quality and quantity. The new location is great for hanging out since they now have places to sit! The cheesesteak and the Italian steak sandwiches are life changing! :-)

Hearty. Sloppy. Tasty. One of the longest lived eateries on N Nevada Ave. New location adds some flair and comfort, but retains the blue collar, divey vibe of the original hole-in-the-wall. I try to eat here every time I visit the Springs. Recommendation: Italian Hoagie.

«I remember this place being better»(C.T. Sorrentino — aka CombatCritic). The sandwiches are«OK», not as good as they once were. We had the«meatball» sandwich, which oddly enough does not come with cheese(unless you ask for it — costs extra) and the«cheesesteak». Because the original owner is supposedly from Philadelphia, the cheesesteak should be a no brainer. Or should it? The meatball(6 inch — $ 5.70) was tasty enough, but neither very big nor loaded with meat as I remember and the tomato sauce flavorful, not too sweet or spicy. The bread was good, not too soft or hard(old). The cheesesteak($ 11.78 for a 12 incher), which came on a similar«hoagie» roll, was loaded with meat and a bit greasy even for my taste(read my review of Dempsey’s in Lawrence, Kansas). I added a side order of french fries($ 2.15) which was rather small for the price and cold by the time our meal arrived. My son, a vegan, asked the young lady on the phone before ordering if they could accommodate his dietary restrictions, including no meat, eggs, cheese, or oils(a personal preference), and she indicated that they could(after checking with her manager/chef). Having confirmed that the pasta was not made with eggs and that the tomato sauce had no meat or added oil, he ordered the spaghetti and meatballs(minus the meatballs — $ 6.89). He was also told that his meal«comes with a salad» and that our entire order would come to a little over $ 28. When he arrived to pick up our order, he was told that the pasta sauce was cooked with the meatballs(vegan?) and that there was oil in the sauce after all, so he could not eat the spaghetti and meatballs. They appeared perturbed over his dietary restrictions and removed the spaghetti and meatballs(but did not deduct the price), leaving him with what he thought was a «large side salad full of veggies»(it was in a large container which he did not open before leaving). However, when he arrived home and opened the container, there was a pile of shredded iceberg lettuce and a few chunks of tomato and even fewer slices of onion(see photo). They charged us nearly $ 7 for a pile of lettuce and a few veggies that probably cost them less than fifty cents! The food alone would get 3 out of 5 stars(5 – 6 out of 10 «bombs») based on quality, quantity, and«value», but the $ 7 side salad and their anti-vegan attitude caused me to deduct a «star»(two bombs). Therefore … CombatCritic Gives Trivelli’s Hoagies(Nevada Ave) 5 Out of 10 Bombs … MOREBOMBSAREGOOD!

I enjoyed this spot a lot good service tasty food would prefer olive oil and red wine vinegar instead of the vinegar in the cherry peppers just in case I don’t want them but will continue to go and enjoy

Food was great. Our family had the Steak Hoagie and Philly Cheese. Kids had Grilled Cheese. Service was very personable. The owner took our order. Simple but clean atmosphere. Very busy. Will definitely come again.

Best real cheese steak in Colorado Springs if not in all of Colorado. Get a full and eat half tomorrow. …your taste buds will thank you.

Damn!!! They bought a building with a seating area about 3 businesses up from their old location and it rocks!!! I went there the other day and all I had was an American Express CC on me, the owner said I order now and comeback later to pay. Awesome service for sure but I couldn’t do that to him. So I started digging around in my wallet and I did have my Visa on me. So I ordered a 12″ cheese steak, I have to say I can eat but that thing was a beast so I pawn off half of it on my wife. Now I wish I would have kept it for lunch the next day. They were packed when I went there for lunch so it looks like getting a building with a seating area has paid off. I wish them the best, oh and for anyone wondering this isn’t the same as the Trivelli’s up off of Barnes. That place is NOT one I want to visit again. Good luck guys with the new digs!
