We went to the Omelette Palor this morning, for Valentine’s Day! They were so busy, however very speedy clearing off tables and getting people seated and served. Great portions and delicious food for the money. I would highly recommend this to be your go to place for breakfast!!!

We must have arrived during their busy time of day because it was packed and we waited 15 minutes for a table. The coffee was better than most diners, and the server topped off my cup every few minutes. Our food order took a long time to reach our table, but it was worth the wait. The Continental Divider skillet was outstanding. I didn’t have one, but everyone raves about the Bloody Marys. A couple of people in my party had one and they loved it. Our server Alexis was very attentive and friendly, so much so that I hardly noticed just how long we had to wait for everything. I will definitely be returning, I just hope it’s not as busy then.

This place is awesome! The food is great, the coffee is good, and the service is fast and friendly. Our server, Julie, was perfect! Definitely reccomend the Belgian waffle and the green chili skillet! Get the fresh squeezed orange juice, too! 10⁄10 :)

My review is mostly for the child-friendly service, as I’m vegan and couldn’t sample much of the food. :) I came in with a toddler and stroller, which I expected to be difficult because most restaurants aren’t thrilled to have to park a stroller inside. I was very surprised when the hostess let me push the stroller right to our booth, unload my kiddo, then she took it up to the front and offered to keep an eye on it while we ate. So nice. Even the high chair that they had was WAY better than usual. Those wooden high chairs at other restaurants are always gunky and the buckles are almost always broken — rendering them useless for restraining a toddler. This chair hooked right onto the table so my little girl could sit in the booth right next to me, comfortably. We both enjoyed the breakfast potatoes, although they were pretty salty. The fresh squeezed orange juice was delicious and larger than most restaurants offer. I should have gotten coffee, but we didn’t have time to sit and savor. Next time!

Food is decent and service is decent. Décor is to be expected because it is styled to be vintage. Expect the wait if you are coming here on peak times.

Drove downtown to try out Omelette Parlor. The exterior looked very quaint and vintage. Waited about 10 minutes to be seated. The hostess said they were cleaning a table for us. The time for us to be seated came and we followed the hostess. She directed us to a raised booth(raised about 8″-10″).That wasn’t going to work. I use a wheelchair for some 48 years now and, although very agile and strong, transferring to a raised booth and stowing the chair isn’t my cup of tea. The hostess proceeded to pull out a small cutting board-type extension from the end of the table. That brought the table height to about my shoulders. So my husband would sit in the booth and apparently I was to sit out in the aisle-way almost dissected from him to eat. I looked at my husband and he said let’s move on. The hostesses apologized and said it was an old house. Old is no excuse for exclusion. We left without eating. The beautiful accessible ramp entering the Omelette Parlor doesn’t foretell the inaccessible seating inside. Hostess advised there is not ONE table in the restaurant; only booths. In 2016, it is woefully sad that this establishment has not considered the growing population of individuals using chairs, scooters or are just unable to hike one’s little booty up to sit in the raised booths. The solution is so simple. Remove the raised booths in the area behind the hostess/cashier area and place 4 or 5 tables. Problem solved. Needless to say, we will not return to the Omelette Parlor nor recommend it. Can’t rate or review the food, but I would have given a minus stars rating if I could for the experience alone. Have never felt so excluded in any other restaurant. Come on, it is 2016! We drove to Sandy’s on Highway 24. It also is an old, small, retrofitted house/restaurant. Very accessible and very good breakfast. Thank you Sandy’s.

I’ve been there twice and can’t bring myself to go back. The food is fine, but the dusty décor makes me uncomfortable and just freaks me out. The service when I did go was great and friendly. They have historical photos or Colorado Springs which was pretty awesome. Give it a chance, it’s a pretty famous place to eat in the Springs, aside from the décor and seating, it’s a good breakfast place.

Ample portions of very tasty breakfast are served up here. It can get very crowded so you want to time your arrival judiciously. I had the Two, two and two. Eggs and French toast are done up nicely. I sampled some dishes from other members at the table and found them to be uniformly yummy. Bring your appetite. One thing that’s nice; you won’t spend a fortune. There is solid value for the dollar here. You might not even need lunch.

At 1st I was a bit hesitant because we weren’t greeted for a little bit. Once we were seated our server was great. I got an omlette and my husband got the eggs Benedict. The omlette was good and really fluffy but I didn’t care for the sausage. My husbands eggs Benedict was the best ever we both split our food so we got half of each. I’m definitely getting the eggs Benny next time oh and he loved the coffee

Wow… what a sad difference. Friday @9 a.m. fairly busy, but no wait to be seated. Had the 2÷2÷2 and my wife had the Belgium waffles. My eggs were cold(over easy were still runny??) and bacon seemed to have a weird taste like a week-old grease. The Waffles were cold as well, so the problem was both prep and service. We probably will not return. BDT’s??? Sandy’s off 24 is now our go-to place for breakfast.

My favorite for breakfast! This place has been around forever and locals love it. The only downside is there is ALWAYS a wait it seems… but that speaks to how much people love it. The inside makes you feel like you’re in your grandmas kitchen and the food is always delicious. The best thing here is their FRESH squeezed OJ. It’s unlike anything you can buy in a bottle. And being the omelette parlor of course your eggs will always be perfect!

the food is awesome and very good. my problem is the seating sucks. you have to be average height and weight to even fit in there booths. I am 6 – 6, 290 and am a very good shape. it’s very uncomfortable for me to squeeze in there old school booths. better accommodations should be make cause not everyone in the springs is small and petite. but I love the food and prices

I have to say i qas very disappointed with the food and service. This coloradosprings institution is ateadly going down hill fast. The food was bad and the aervice was worse. The manager Susan seemed to not care about serving the customer. It was expensive and not at all worth the money I spent. I WILLNOTGOBACK. I recommend you find somewhere else to eat.

We’ve been making the rounds for brunch on weekends and after getting tired of the long lines and wait-times **cough OverEasy cough cough** we made a beeline to Omelette Parlor a weekend ago. We had a group of 7 on a Sunday morning and we barely had to wait, which is always a bonus with a hangry toddler. I was pleasantly surprised how good the food was. I ordered the spinach and mushroom omelette and it was fantastic. Everyone else in the party liked their food as well. Plus, $ 2.50 for a bloody mary is awesome. The coffee was really good too. I’ll definitely be coming back.

I am updating to 3 stars only because of service really. The food is still pretty good and the décor is super nice. I love that this place is very historic and that it used to belong to one of the greatest singers of the 20’s-30’s. How cool is that? However, the service is still lacking. We came on a Monday morning around 8:30, we were one of 6 tables occupying the restaurant. I ordered a biscuit with sausage and cheese, because I do not eat eggs or omelettes. The waitress quickly snipped at me with an attitude that I ‘should not expect that to be assembled, as that’s not an item on the menu and because they are so busy on weekend, the kitchen does not make any exceptions, as they don’t want customers to get used to it at slow times and demand it at rush hour’. EXCUSEME? So you are telling me that to split the biscuits in two and put the sausage patty with melted cheese in it would be too much? Ridiculous. Not like I care myself to do it. I have no problem with that at all. But it’s just so petty to talk to customers like that. She could have just been more subtle and say that I would be receiving my biscuit with my patty on the side. Period. No reason to explain anything or to make me feel like I will try to OVERBURDENTHEM with my tedious requests on rush hour. O_o Really? Anyways. Food good. Service meeeehhh. I have had better at McDonalds. Nuff said.

Do not come here. 30 min wait to be seated, 45 minutes to have the food delivered. Waitress not around for 10 mins at a time. Food is fine. Go eat somewhere else if you don’t want to get hangry.

I have been coming to the omlette parlor since I was a little kid. The food has always been great, worth coming back for, but the service has always been awful. I always get the feeling that the staff is bothered by the patrons. It is a shame that the management doesn’t emphasize customer service. Yet, they must know, no one comes for the service. Could it just be me? I probably would endure outright rudeness or physical assault from a server just for the opportunity to have a plate of eggs benny. really yummy food. I say go for it.

The Omelet Parlor is a Colorado Springs breakfast institution that is very popular with locals and tourists alike with their heaping portions of eggs, fresh cut potatoes and green pork chili; it’s one of the best breakfasts you can get in the Springs. The menu is huge with lunch and breakfast options available throughout the day and half price mimosas on Sunday to cure the Saturday night that might have carried over a little too much! The atmosphere has a feeling that you’re eating in your family’s dining room and the food matches the feeling of eating home cooking. The service is very friendly and welcoming and I’d recommend taking friends and family that are from out of town to get a little taste of a Colorado breakfast.
