This place is a joke and one of the worst bars in Colorado Springs or even the country. It’s one of those crappy bars that should be on Bar Rescue. Poor management all the way down to the worst door guy in human history. Bad feelings aside, this place has horrible service, not clean, poor management and even has that stupid punch boxing game. That game has to be the worst F##king game to put in a BAR… Like lets promote punching and get people drunk. Nothing bad happens. That’s how you know this owner is a idiot. Close this place down or Bar Rescue this place. To top this off, read a review below: «I bring someone for their first visit here and the door guy is no where to be found. I start to order drinks and I hear someone yelling „is your friend deaf?“ behind me, and low and behold, it’s the door guy finally doing his job asking my friend for his ID and if he’s deaf. I told him he didn’t have to be so rude in which a passer by(whom we were not with or know by any means) tells him „ya, dude, that was extremely rude, don’t talk to people like that!“ The door guy and stranger get into a shoving match and stranger gets thrown out. Pretty sure the door guy thinks we had something to do with his little altercation, which we did not, we just simply stated that we didn’t appreciate being asked if we were deaf when the door guy clearly wasn’t at his little stool when we walked in. I’m also certain he has now labeled us as „troublemakers“ there, as the next time we went there, we were treated poorly by all staff, which is disappointing» This is why the door guy is such a poor example of this place. I was there that night and will not be coming back and will tell everyone by word of mouth to avoid this place and recommend better bars around town. This door guy literally didn’t ask for ID till the guy was at the BAR… like how the hell do you walk across the whole bar and stand literally at the bar about to order a drink and then someone cards you for your ID, in a manner which is so rude that another person who is not affiliated with them comments and the door guy ignores his whole job and then gets into a shoving match/fight with the guy that goes outside. Everyone in the Bar is standing there in disbelief watching this clown show. Technically being able to walk up to Bar and almost order and walk across the whole bar at 11 pm at night with out anyone checking your ID or even being at the actual door, could and should get you fined and shut down. STAYAWAYFROMTHISPLACEPLEASE. Do yourself a favor and enjoy a drink somewhere else, you won’t be disappointed.

Place is ok, but staff is horrible. They have a blonde bartender there that is rude and makes you feel like you are putting her out by asking for anything. Not somewhere I would ever go back. If you don’t like your job find something else!!!

Been here a few times, one bar tender is rude, swears at customers -«you *ucking asshole» and goes on from there… then there are the clueless bartenders… never know who you’re going to meet here

Went here for a little birthday get together earlier this month. The atmosphere is kind of biker bar. The food was good and the bartender was kind and helpful. They make their own moonshine which was super delicious, and he made my Bloody Mary to perfection. However, my 3 star rating comes from the rude unfriendly cook/man who takes food orders and the fact that they have no waitresses. No one greets you when you walk in. We sat at our table for about 10 minutes before we realized there was no one coming to take orders(there are signs stating where to order, we just didn’t see them.) Because there are no waitress, there is no one to come take dishes/glasses off your table so you either do it yourself or let them pile up. The cook didn’t make eye contact ever. When my brother ordered food, he walked up to the counter and said ‘hi how’s it going sir?’ The man neither looked up not replied, and he barked 4 times at him the total of the food at the end. Another strange thing is drinks have to be ordered at a separate counter than the food. This was rudely explained by cook/food-order-taker-man.

Pretty interesting, rustic sort of tavern. Good place to pop in for a beer and a snack. Polite, professional service too.

This review is more on the management of the bar and less on the food/service. On the recommendation of a friend, I was directed to O’Furry’s as a possible gathering place for a large party(75 – 100 people). 2 months prior to the event, I started the conversations with the general manager and another manager about holding our event. Everything was confirmed, the manager said that they would be happy to host our event. no worries. I again, reconfirmed 1 month prior… and again, everything was confirmed. On the day/time of the event, there is no reservation. The bar staff has no idea about our large party. The only«reservation» the staff was aware of was for the UFC fight. I had 50 people waiting outside with another 50+ en route. The bar was already at capacity and we were stuck. The only response I received from the«manager» on duty was shrugged shoulders and«.no body told us.» Luckily, someone in our group had a connection to another bar not too far away. The event turned out great and we spent a lot of money on food a drinks, easily more than double what O’Furry’s made that night by shutting us out. I’m simply amazed with the lack of professionalism and just common courtesy by the management of this place.

Worst dining experience in recent history. In my quest to find the best wings in Colo Spgs, I decided to try this place during lunch and the service, and I use that term loosely, was a bad joke, overshadowing the food. I sat at the bar in plain view of the cook and after nearly ten minutes(yes, I count), he came out and asked if he could help me, telling me that the bartender must be outside talking to her babysitter(?!). I ordered the wings and a drink. He told me the amount and I said«ok»…he stood there and said I need to pay immediately«or the boss will get mad at me”(?!). I asked how I’m supposed to figure out the tip with the bartender/server missing and he said to go ahead and tip him. This is when I should have left but instead, morbid curiosity and my lunch hour withering away kept me there. The cook starts cooking an then plates… and then walks past me to the corner of the bar, setting the food down. I am the only customer waiting for food and then the bartender finally materializes and starts eating her lunch(!!!)…20 minutes after they opened! My food came afterwards… the wing sauce tasted like traditional Buffalo, which is great, the chicken had good meat to them and were cooked well. The mushroom batter was not burnt but it tasted like it, maybe the fryer was overdue a change. Back to the service. as the bartender was yapping away on her phone and eating and the cook was not around, I saw they didn’t give me a fork. Well my 15% pre-paid tip ensured I got to get up, walk over to the prep area and search for a fork. The server eventually refilled my drink after I interrupted her chatting with regulars. You know, I’m done typing this review, this place sucks and I will never return there, nor the adjoining Omelette Parlor, that the owner also apparently owns. Dive bars are awesome because the people make up for the presentation… this place had neither, I got robbed today…

Worst place ever! Only good thing was the band. Food sucked. Pool tables are garbage. Don’t bother going. You’ll be disappointed.

Came here after leaving the worst bar of all time. It wasn’t bad, the bouncer was super personable and made us feel welcome and comfortable. The barback was super friendly, too. We didn’t eat any food there, but it smelled amazing! The music was, in my opinion at the perfect noise level. DJ played a good mix of old school hip hop and newer more poppy stuff. The people there were fun to talk to, open and friendly. I really, really wish the pool tables were taken care of a bit better, the fabric is very worn, and, filthy. I asked if they had a brush and said«I don’t think so…» but I looked around and found one — the dust I swept off had me coughing, BUT the games were free. One of the tables is «out of order,» no idea why. *shrug* Was fun for a game. I liked the restrooms, they made me smile, as weird as that is. The décor was nice. I’d go back if it wasn’t on the other side of town, but if I find myself over that way, I’ll stop in.

Best Neighborhood bar, hands down. Cheap drinks, good eats, pool tables, jukebox, live music, and even outdoor volleyball! Usually consists of neighborhood folks, but has a variety of other people and age groups as well, which is nice. EDIT: The rudeness displayed by their door guy is the reason I lowered my review. I bring someone for their first visit here and the door guy is no where to be found. I start to order drinks and I hear someone yelling«is your friend deaf?» behind me, and low and behold, it’s the door guy finally doing his job asking my friend for his ID and if he’s deaf. I’m also certain he has now labeled us as «troublemakers» there, as the next time we went there, we were treated poorly by all staff, which is disappointing. This used to be my favorite neighborhood spot.

Someone needs to buy O’Furrys and bring it back into the now — Used to go way back — now it’s a ftoggin dump with crap food — and the owner never does anything to upgrade it — try checking out the kitchen at the Omelet Parlor and I guarantee you will never eat there again — same owner — Sell both places to a responsible owner with an actual vision — The wings suck compared to many other places — Both places have so much better potential —

Nice dive bar. Friendly staff and very good bar food. The wings are awesome. If Phil is working in the kitchen ask for bacon wrapped jalapeño’s. They are to die for and go well with beer. No frills here, but the people and patrons seem pretty cool. If you are looking to chill out and just have a good time I recommend this place.

Amazing food. I’m usually not a big fan of bar food but this place got me hooked. The wings are the best I have ever had, hands down. I have also had a bacon cheeseburger and was not disappointed. The cook was pleasant and friendly. My only feedback goes to the German woman bartender that was less than lovely to me and a group of women I was with both times.

DISCLAIMER– Since the younger-ish, tall guy no longer works in the«kitchen», the food isn’t as good AND, frankly, he had a better personality. However, the burgers are STILL good here at this dive-ass bar. Hey kids, would you like to brag to your bro’s that you hang out at a TRUE dive bar? Do you want some tasty bar food? Will they have Mogen David in heaven??? Hell, I don’t know. But I do know that when I want some brews and burgers, I’m hittin’ O’Furry’s! OFurry’s burgers are delicious. Screw those designer burger places. I was coming here for the wings for a year and a half and recently tried their burgers. OFFTHEHOOK! This place is a sh! t hole. Seriously, I would not want it any other way. However, the bathroom is always clean whenever I’ve had call to use. Another thing, there are some CRUSTY, CRUSTY peeps that come here. Like, they’ve been pickling themselves in some form of alcohol for the majority of their lives. However, there are people from all walks of life. People in their 20’s all the way up to golden age(those are the crustiest) OH! Also, their burgers are special price on Sunday’s and one other day which I cannot remember. Wait, wait, wait, I think it’s Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday. I’m not 100% but I’m 99.999%.. .. .that it is these THREE days that they have their burger special.

We are regular O’Furry’s visitors. One of the cooks, Bobby, is amazing, and everything he makes is better than your average bar food. On Monday nights, he makes fried pie. It is $ 3, cash only, and worth every single bite. We are there every Monday night. I recommend the BLT(ask to add avocado). When Bobby is there, it is the best BLT in town! If you are looking for a high class establishment, this is not the place for you. However, if you are looking for a relaxed, everybody-knows-your-name, blue collar kind of place, this is a wonderful one. The drinks are affordable, the bartenders are fast and have great senses of humor. Karol is amazing! This is the perfect place to stop after work.

I’ve been in here a couple of times. It’s a busy place. They have poker games on Thursday night, and though I didn’t play, the tables were pretty full and players seemed to be having fun. I ate here on both occasions. It’s bar food. Not much that was epic about it, but it was tasty. Wings are pricy, the burgers are a bit over priced for what they are, but they’re made up fresh to order, even though it’s by a rather unfriendly and surly cook. You have to go to the bar and order your food, and also to pickup it up. I sat at the bar once and at a table once. The bartenders are fast and the drinks are cheap. There are no waitresses for the tables, so you have to go to the bar and get your drinks. A bit inconvenient. TVs to watch sports. A juke box for music. Not a bad place if you’re in the mood for a dive bar.

Even though I’ve been coming in and out of the Springs for years, I’d never heard of O’Furry’s, so when some friends and I had a craving for wings we decided to give it a go. Star 1: How was the service and atmosphere? Crowded on a Thursday night? Interesting, and in this case, the crowd complimented the experience. When it comes to watching sports with a bit of Colorado flair(Broncos jerseys all over the place), O’Furry’s gets it right. While O’Furry’s has a hometown feel, it’s in no way sketchy or dirty, which can’t be said for countless other dive bars. For that reason alone I would love to throw this star O’Furry’s way, but unfortunately, the service killed the vibe a bit. The guy behind the counter may have been having an off night, but he was about two steps beyond grumpy, and it showed. On top of that, my part of four waited a good 30 minutes for our wings and burgers. I could have forgiven the wait if we were looking at top notch product… but we weren’t. No Star Granted. Star 2: How were the portions relative to the cost? Allow me to set the stage here — 25 Wings for $ 19.99: Avocado Burger for $ 8.68: $ 0.80 for a non-boneless wing? Sorry, but let’s not pretend that we’re looking a luxury cuisine here. They’re wings for goodness sake! As for the burger, while I’m willing to shell out double digits for a good burger, this was nothing unlike what you’d find in a standard Sodexho cafeteria. This was a $ 5 burger tops. No Star Granted. Stars 3 and 4: How was the food? I’ll reason with O’Furry’s here: they serve up some good wings. Great texture, meaty, and a buffalo sauce that really hits the spot, but when I’m craving wings, selection is just as important? It’s tough to throw stars around based on wings alone when you’re restricted to three sauces. From there, things go downhill. My burger was flat out poor, with virtually no flavor at all(I ended up dipping it in the wing sauce!). Single Star Granted(reluctantly). Star 5: Would you eat here every day if you could? The Springs offers better wings, better burgers, and better sports bars than O’Furry’s. No Star Granted.

Went here on a Tuesday night. The chicken wangs were good, nice and meaty. The beer was cold and cheap enough. The annoying part was a couple of skanks were hogging the juke box and playing terrible music and talking really loud, it wasn’ that busy in there so instead of having a nice conversation, we had to listen to theirs and their crap music, otherwise everything else was OK. Bathroom was decent-clean. I saw a pool table too! If you are into volleyball… you might consider this place to join a league.
