Hateful waitress! I have throat issues and can not eat anything spicy. I specifically asked if the sauce on the sushi roll was spicy. She said no they dont have that sauce. I said great since I cant have anything spicy I will try it. I get the roll and it has a wasabi sauce on it, much to my horror I realize this as I am eating it. So no apology she just looks at me like I am stupid and doesnt understand why I am upset after telling her twice. So while I contend with a sore throat for the next 2 – 3 days i just thank the Lord it is not an allergy that could have killed me

My husband ordered the Kisoro roll and Mango tuna roll and they were super delicious. I ask for a roll with the salmon cooked(because Im pregnant) and she told me that they can’t do it; that they do not cook the salmon. I think is very lame and stupid that they cannot make a roll with the salmon cooked, because there are other plates of salmon in the menu(not rolls or sushi) that will obviously be cooked and served with a complement. So I think the waitress just told me they cant do it because she have no idea or because the chef is just too lazy to do it for me.(Which is going to cause me not going there again) So I ended up ordering Filet Mignon and it was really good.

I have been here twice now to eat sushi and am not disappointed at all. The rolls are not cheap, but are made with some very quality ingredients. The atmosphere is quiet, modern, and VERY clean. They could use a better wine selection, which is my only real complaint. I will definitely keep coming back!

Came here around 8pm on a Sat. Intended to get sushi. We were seated immediately, and our server was brisk but pleasant and attentive; always offering to fill our drinks(a water and a hot tea) as soon as they became low. There were a good amount of people there, I thought, for it being after regular dinner hours, but I guess that’s because it was Saturday. We ordered an appetizer(gyoza) and my friend and I ordered the spicy tuna roll and the Kisoro roll, respectively. The app came out within 5 minutes, and was hot and tasty. Our sushi came much slower, but when it arrived it was delicious, and beautifully prepared. The tempura on my roll had a wonderful crunch while remaining very light, and my friend’s roll was LOADED with the spicy tuna! We both enjoyed it very much, and intend to eat here again! To recap: we ordered water and hot tea, an appetizer, and a sushi roll each. Serve time on the main dish was a little slow, but the food tasted fresh and flavorful. We also felt it was good value($) for the meal. I imagine this would be a great lunch spot, too. Recommend!

The sushi is awesome and the people are friendly. I’m giving it 3 stars because of how long the to-go orders take to receive. Every time I order, I am told 15 – 20 minutes. I will get to the restaurant 20 minutes later and wait for another 15 – 20 minutes to receive my food. I continue to come back because I love the sushi and it is so close to my house, but I have waited an hour for my sushi to-go. If they would give me a realistic estimate or have the food prepared when they say they will, I would give this 5 stars.

Seriously my favorite restaurant in Clarksville. The food is consistently good no matter what I get, but what seals the deal for me is the customer service. Annie is amazing, even after being away for several months she remembered what we ordered.

Definitely the best asian food in Clarksville. The sushi and hibachi are both really good. Annie is the best waitress we have ever had. We eat here probably 3 times a month. Definitely the place to go if you want good asian food.

Good was good. My daughter thought the kids food was bad. Had a couple of the rolls and my wife had the hibachi a chicken and steak. Rolls were great. Hibachi was good. Prices are what you expect for a sushi place around here. If you are looking for a restaurant with fantastic service this would not be the place to choose. If you want a quick tasty meal without very much customer service you hit the jackpot.

After two days of traveling and eating mostly fast food Kisoro was like heaven on earth for me and my boyfriend. Even if we hadn’t been dying for fresh food, their food would still be exceptional. My avacodo salad was exactly what I needed and my maki roll was delicious. My boyfriends beef terriaki was cooked perfectly and the sauce on it was great. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. It’s a shame we were just passing through otherwise we would be regular customers.

Ordered the shrimp tempura and it was great. Service here is good as well. The waitress could have been a little more inviting and explain the dishes a little better but overall my experience with the staff and the food was great.

Stopped in this evening on veterans day to get sushi for take out and staff failed to get the simple order correct. Spicy California rolls one would think would have spice. Especially since the young lady and I had a discussion regarding what was used. Well after arriving home and opening order guess what. No spicy mayo nor tempura. The key ingredient to a spicy roll and it’s missing. The store was not busy and it was late in evening there is no excuse. Attempted to call the store mutiple times and no answer. My suggestion is go to Kroger or publix as this tastes as it came from a supermarket. For great service and good quality try Kohana.

Pretty good sushi! They have a good lunch combo menu for sushi. It was very good for a reasonable price. On the flip side the hibachi chicken was just okay. The chicken was a bit on the dry side. Overall this place meet my rather low expectations for sushi in this area.

Being new to Clarksville I am on a mission to find the best restaurants for every genre of food. You always have to have a good sushi place and the first one that I tried was Kisoro which is right by my place. It is a nice quiet restaurant with a nice atmosphere. I read some previous reviews of poor service. I have to say that are service was excellent. Our server(Tori I believe was her name) was very nice and patient with us(we took a long time to decide on rolls). She even offered her opinion on what her favorite rolls and best sellers were. We eventually ended up with the Tennessee roll and the lobster roll. Both of them were fairly good. I preferred the lobster roll and my counterpart preferred the Tennessee roll so that worked out well. We also ordered a side of veggie fried rice which was excellent and a nice compliment to the rolls. I haven’t been to any other sushi places yet but I will definitely be back here to try some other rolls and the hibachi. If you’re looking for good sushi at a reasonable price then Kisoro is a great option.

Food portion on calamari was too small for cost. Service was mediocre at best. Over the 62.00 tab was not reflected in the quality and value of entrée. Will not return.

We dined here last Friday night and the fact that we actually were even ever served at all is the most significant part of our experience. Upon arrival, most tables appeared full, although we were seated within 15 minutes(not bad for a Friday night in Clarksville). Roughly 10 minutes later, drink order was taken. From this point on, our service seemed to disappear. I got the impression no one even knew our table existed. Finally, at around 45 minutes, we were able to order our appetizers, crab Rangoon and gyoza, and decided it best to put the rest of our order in(in case our table was again forgotten). We ordered 5 rolls(peanut avocado, spiderman, volcano special, Alaska, and Philly). An hour later, my husband received his rolls, while I waited for mine. My rolls slowly eased out from behind the bar, one by one, about 20 minutes later. Our whole experience took 2.5 hours. Who allocates that much time for dinner any more? We will not be back to try again. It was a real shame, too, because the food, itself, was really good, but the hassle and the service just ruined it for us.

This will forever be my only sushi hitspot in TN! My most favorite thing about this place is that you can get 10pcs of salmon for only 17 dollars!!! The sushi literally melts in your mouth. I also got the Philadelphia roll which was okay but the spicy salmon roll really topped it off. I’m a fan!!! After my meal we ended up getting the tempura cheesecake which was the best decision ever! It was light and not too sweet. They also offer 10% off for military.

Had a calamari appetizer and chicken teriyaki bento box. Calamari texture was tough and it just tasted okay I’ve had better. Chicken teriyaki was terrible it was made with chicken breast instead of chicken thighs and the sauce wasn’t sweet. Worst chicken teriyaki I’ve ever had. I did enjoy the miso soup, salad, and cali roll that came with the meal. My husband had the philly roll which was good and a shrimp tempura roll I didn’t like the sauce on it. He also had a kisoro roll which was the best tasting thing that we had ordered.

Yes its pretty inside but the rude server and the not so good food is what stands out. Oh the miso soup tasted and looked like it came from a rinsed out chicken broth can(no flavor, no mushrooms) the salad greens tasted of storage and were limp, the fried rice was the worst I ever had in my life! Who puts heavy black pepper in fried rice? My hubby and I literally took one bite of the salad, rice, and soup. The female server never even asked if there was a problem as she took away full dishes of food. If you can’t produce a good rice/salad/soup…why even have the restaurant? TASTE your food daily people. Please! To focus on being«fancy» while your food tastes horrid is a huge waste and is hurting your business. California roll was good, but was served a little too warm. Stick to sushi rolls if you just have to eat here, don’t waste money on the other menu items until they start serving palatable food.

Great atmosphere, perfect for romantic dinner, selection of food is few but passable; I would recommend this place for couples celebrating something. I would have given 5 star buy pricing is a little to expensive for selection.
