Called in a pickup order, they said 20 minutes. I got there exactly 20 minutes well the doors were locked both of them. The sign says they close in 30 more minutes, «Friday 10:30». I call them to let them know I can’t get in she says«oh sorry we are now apparently closed» What the hell kind of business does this

I don’t recommend going here. For the price you would expect a little something more. Even as a joke they held my race against me and ask if I speak English and why I came to America if I cannot speak the language very rudely. After cooking the rice they toss it in your mouth and because I didn’t catch it the cook said I sucked. For the remainder of the night he held it against me saying I sucked and to not talk because my English was poor. I do not recommend it and would like to inform all«minorities» to avoid this place at all costs.

We arrived an hour and a half before closing time. They made it very apparent that they wanted us to hurry up and be gone. They asked if we were ready to order at least 5 times during the duration of a single god awful song that was being played, very loudly. The sushi was very disappointing. The bathrooms were a disaster. Finally our meal comes out, chicken and shrimp portions were small, vegetables were cold. Rice was good but you have to pay $ 2 extra for fried rice. Cheapskates. Bill was $ 35 bucks for bad service, bad sushi, small portions of chicken and chewy shrimp. And water. Unfortunately you can’t give zero stars, because that’s more accurate of a rating.

Food is great. Drinks are great. I would suggest a Kiri, I think is how you spell it? Great atmosphere. Service takes a while but not as bad as other Japanese resturants in clarksville. I recommend the L.A. Roll, and Lion King. Gave a 4 just because of the wait to get served.

Service was extremely slow. Sat at the table for 45 minutes before the chef showed up to cook and the place was dead. Good was good however portions are pretty small for a hibachi dinner. Not enough to get me full and I have a combo dinner. Wife agreed portions are lacking and we have had better. Also you have to pay extra for rice. I mean come on. Will continue looking for good hibachi in Clarksville.

Horribly fake atmosphere. Not even remotely authenticate food. Over priced. Extremely slow service. Easily 15+ mins for each request. Sauces and favors were reused throughout the meal. Steak was more like stew meat. Lobster and shrimp was low quality, freezer shell fish. Forced to eat only with wooden, cheap, chop sticks. Verbosely wrote down all orders and still got half of it wrong. Bill was incorrect and refused to correct it. Worst of all, they gave me the samuri mug, even though I ordered the Buda, and they tried to just play it off.

Great food and fun atmosphere! If you get an option, Minwo is an awesome and funny chef. The dressing on the salad was LEGIT and house made. Also, try the yum yum sauce that they give you before they start cooking. Went fantastic on everything! I’d come back to this Shogun.

So much food! Me and my friends have eaten at every Japanese Steak House in town and this was our favorite. So much food and very very good. Was pleased with the sushi as well. It’s a little more expensive than Yamamoto but cheaper than Hanonki by Lowe’s and you get more for your money here. Can’t wait to come back.

I honestly didn’t expect it to be this good given the reviews on here are so so. My husband and I are crazy for japanese food & we’ve been to a couple places around here that were also good, but this place just stood out to us waaaay more. If you’re looking to have a delicious meal and willing to spend the money to get the best of the best I would suggest to do so! I got the lobster & chicken and my hubby got the filet mignon(melted in our mouths med-rare) it was soooooo good! Definitely will go back again soon(:

Our favorite restaurant in ClarksVegas. Filet mignon is always very tender. One kid loves the miso soup(5yo), the other has to have a sushi spider roll(8yo) every time… Fried rice, noodles, and mixed vegetables are always good. Lollipops for the kids and they know the chefs whole ‘show’ by heart(fire, volcano, catch rice in your mouth, etc…). It only gets 3-stars because people from Clarksville don’t appreciate broccoli…

New wait staff and cooks; better than before! Looks recently cleaned. Appreciate the attention to detail — will be back!

Not enough parking. We were lucky and got the last spot but a few of our friends had to park in neighboring parking lots. We had a reservation for about 16 people and we stood in the entry way for about 15 min past our reservation time. They didn’t look very busy so not sure of the delay. We were seated but didn’t have our salads until 1 hour and 10 min of being there. When the chef did arrive he was amazing! Really entertaining and the food tasted excellent. The staff was very prompt and always taking care of us. My last rip on the place is its VERY dirty. The bathrooms hadn’t been tended to for quite some time. There’s dust bunnies everywhere and mold/water stains all over the ceiling. It boils down to good food in a dumpy establishment. I personally wouldn’t order raw food there however because if the inside is that dirty you can only imagine their standards in the kitchen. They don’t have very high cleanliness standards and service isn’t very fast. Expect to be there a couple hours for dinner.

I finally have a time to write a review for this restaurant and I would say its an amazing Japanese resto. I went there 2x already for dinner and no bad experiences so far. The crew are very friendly. They have a lot of waitresses to make sure they have the stuff you need right away. You can eat at the regular dining table or you can eat inside this room where you can see them cook your food. Guess what Ordered?! I’m a fan of sushi, so I ordered a very special one. «Eel sushi» and«octopus sushi.» Yep! The eel was delish and the sushi? Eh, it wasn’t bad there was a lil flavor on it. You have to dip it on one of their sauces to make it really tasty! Its a cool restaurant. I love it!

Ok, it’s a restaurant with great food as well as great service. For all the ignorant things said to rate this restaurant 2 stars is unjust. It’s dark in there because it’s suppose to be. I highly suggest giving this place a chance

I went to this place for dinner with the team one evening. It was fun to watch the cook make the food in front of us — Benihana style! The place is a bit dark and did not seem to be very clean to me, nevertheless I enjoyed hanging out in this«casual environment» with the team.

Sushi. Yummmmmmmm I love the fact that you can sit at the sushi bar and watch the while process! If you’re not into sushi, that’s ok you can treat yourself to the cooking performance at your table. This is quite a show and is worth the wait and possible seating with another party.(If you’ve never been to this type of grilling show, they fill tables to surround the grill on all three sides before beginning.)

It’s a nice place and service is pretty good. We always sit in the booths. They have pretty good sushi and are the only sushi place in town that has rolls that really do it for me. I love the Kentucky Derby(it’s huge, and pricy 14 $.) and the Alaskan roll. It’s pretty pricy, but it seems most places like this around here are.

I don’t see why there’s all the hate for this place… although I opted not to eat the sushi here after reading the reviews. I did however, get the hibachi chicken and steak and didn’t want to see the show so I sat in the sushi area with my friend. There were a bunch of drunk GIs there doing sake bombs, yelling, and harassing the sushi chef and the hostess. This has nothing to do with my experience just thought you would like to know what you have to deal with in Clarksville sometimes. Anyway, the chicken and steak actually wasn’t too bad food wise and I got the side of fried rice-it was weird that it’s an extra 2 bucks but then I noticed that there were noodles included, huh, a little strange BUT not bad. Our waitress was pretty attentive and from the way she interacted with the other customers it seemed like they were friendly regulars and my friend and I had no problems with her service at all. In fact, the manager actually came by to see if everything was all right and thanked us for coming. I would rate Shogun higher but I didn’t get any appetizer shrimp I’m a little miffed at that-maybe there is an advantage to catching the show as well.
