Since this establishment is closer to my house than the Asian District I thought I would give it a try. Phở is always my go to when I eat at a Vietnamese restaurant, because it is so tasty. Like meatloaf for America the broths can change a little, but the flavors are usually delicious unfortunately, there broth had no flavor. It was mid afternoon, but it seemed if they had run out of broth and watered down what they had left.

FYI: I have nothing to compare it to as this was my first Vietnamese experience. That being said, I have eaten food before and this was great food. Vietnamese food texture is different than I’m used to and I welcome the unfamiliarity. I got take-out and brought it home. I ordered the COMBINATIONRICEPLATTER so I could sample a few different things and chose fried rice instead of steamed. The pork, beef, and shrimp were AMAZING. Cooked and seasoned perfectly. The fried rice was plain with very few bits of egg, but had a good flavor. The Phở was TASTY! I got combination on that as well: well-done brisket, tripe, tendons, and meatballs. I didn’t realize you make it up yourself and that was cool. I added everything they sent with it except the jalapeños. The hot sauce gave it enough spice for us. I liked everything except the tripe but left it in to flavor the soup while I ate. I had enough left over to have a bit later. I will definitely be going back to Phở Ever. Also, I showed up 30 minutes before they opened and was treated very well. They took my order without mentioning the time. The staff were friendly and I saw someone bringing fresh veggies in for the day’s cooking.

This place is amazing… If I could I would eat here everyday. The phở is amazing along with the friendly service staff. The best vietnamese on the north side.

You owe it to yourself to try this amazing place! The crispy spring rolls and iced coffee are a must. They have excellent service and the price is great too. I have never had a bad meal from here. I really love getting the rare beef phở to go so I can dip the raw meat a little at a time to cook just enough.

Slow service and there were only 3 other people. Phở was super salty. Moreso than usual at other places. Rice was too dry. Yummy smoothies though.

Had the Beef Vermicelli today and it was wonderful. The beef was grilled and tender, super tasty! Everything was very fresh and well presented. The service was fast and very courteous. I will be going back!

Worst sweet & sour soup ever, just thick with corn starch and some mushrooms. I got shrimp with vermicelli and the shrimp was cooked dry. Will not return. And, oh yes, there is one cook who sits watching TV and rubbing his face. A complete turnoff. You know about Friday the 13th. umm, well my wife stopped in this place for a to go order of MOOGOOGIAPAN, and brought the stuff home and sat down to eat it. It was salty and smelly and terrible, according to her, as she threw the stuff into the disposal. «Well, it is Friday the 13th.,» I said. Eek!

Had the lunch special, overall it was alright, I’ve definitely had better, but for $ 7.95, you sure do get a lot of food!

I was not all that impressed with Phở Ever. I decided to get a vermicelli bowl with chicken and have certainly had better. I had to add a lot of red chile sauce and soy sauce to really taste the dish. The grilled chicken was probably the best part though. It’s possible that when in the area I might come back and try the actual phở, which is what I originally went there for. I’m not sure why I ended up ordering the vermicelli bowl, but it ended up being a bad choice. I say drive the few extra miles to the Asian District to avoid the disappointment.

Im lowering my score. This place is not the real deal Ive grown accustomed to. I was far awayt from the good places and hadn’t eaten by 2 pm so I needed to eat… stopped in and was seriously the worst Vietnamese food Ive ever had. I tried the vermicelli bowl this time. I swear, I don’t ever recall being in a Vietnamese restaurant that didn’t have pork and egg roll vermicelli… sigh…had to settle for just pork. The pork was a weird texture and didn’t have that awesome flavor I associate with Vietnamese grilled pork. It really was flavorless. I am seriously baffled how this place has the same star rating as the best Phở place in town… I guess their business model of Americanizing their food is successful… sigh…so sad… the 2 stars is because the waiter was nice and their egg rolls really are damn good.

I ordered rare beef, brisket and tendon with my broth. I felt the broth needed more depth to it and the tendon could have been trimmed into slimmer pieces; I was also surprised at the amount of noodles, typically, I’m hurting to finish a small bowl but here it was all gone before I was ready: overall experience: mediocre. Waitress was kind and helpful and the place was neat with a convenient location.

Awesome! Love this place! The waitress took time to explain the menu. We ordered spring rolls as an appetizer. They are wonderful. Also had steamed dumplings which were very good too. I had chicken Phở. Thankfully I ordered a small because it is a lot of food. I will go back very soon!

My family and I have eaten here for the past 4 years. The staff are really nice and the food is great. Whether you order from the Vietnamese or Chinese menus, you won’t be disappointed.

I’ve stalked this place forever., only to be disappointed. It was one of my friends birthday and she was feeling a down(that’s another story for another time). I decided to finally check this place out. Walking up to this establishment, the front looks very dark and gloomy, I did appreciate it once inside though. We sat at our table, along with maybe two other customers in the restaurant. so yeah it wasn’t at all busy. Our waiter came by asked if we were ready to order and we asked for a little more time. maybe we should’ve been specific because ol boy came back in 2seconds. Feeling very rushed we decided to order. My friend’s daughter has fish allergies, when we asked our not so friendly waiter if the food was cooked with any seafood he said maybe no … urm dude, I need a yes or no(my friend then broke it down for him, that she can die ! Hello go find out) While waiting our tiny tots needed to use the restroom. wait for it … yup no hot water to wash our hands. when I say no hot water I mean no water period came out of the hot water side, of the faucet. I really wanted to give this play a second chance, before writing my review, but meh it is what it is.

Great place for when you’re in the mood for phở and«ca phe sua da.» Their broth is more beefy than herby. I appreciate that they are generous with their herb plate. I tend to overdress my Phở with basics and lime. The condense milk coffee great. Service is always great. I like their diverse menu of Vietnamese and Chinese dishes. #chicmamasEat

First of all, it’s notably cheaper than the other phở places in OKC. They’ve also got a great dinner combo, which is extremely affordable for what you get. It came with a small sampler that had 4 appetizers and soup. As a strange curveball from out of nowhere, the Chinese-style hot & sour soup was literally the best I’ve ever had. Basically every other time I’ve had hot & sour soup(hundreds of times), it’s been almost exactly the same, but something was different about this, and it was ridiculously good. This is all in addition to your choice of entrée and fried/steamed rice. All this for under $ 10 is a steal in my book. My girlfriend ordered phở and it was good, roughly comparable to every other decent phở place in OKC. 4 stars because of the price and variety. Will come back.

So glad to find some of the best takeout this side of the Asian district! Four of us split the shrimp rolls, egg rolls, Kung pao chicken, beef with snow peas, orange chicken along with an entrée of mixed veggies. I love to order a big side of veggies since you’ll never get enough veg if you don’t. Everything was excellent, but the standouts for me were the veggies and the orange chicken. I also especially loved the sauce that came with the shrimp rolls. The fried rice left a bit to be desired; not flavorful enough to be worth the calories. I definitely think it’s a takeout joint and not a go-out-and-eat place; not a date atmosphere, for sure. But I will happily forgive these minor hang ups for good Chinese and Vietnamese on the NW side. Next time I’ll try the phở and report back!

One of my Vietnamese friends has this rule: If a Vietnamese restaurant name uses the word«Phở» as a pun(e.g. Phở-bulous, What the Phở, Un-Phở-gettable, Phở-My, Phở-Nomenal, Phở-Really, Phở-Sho, Phở-King Delicious; I could keep going), you should not patronize that restaurant. According to him, these restaurants are pandering to non-Vietnamese people(his nice way of sayin’, «white folk») and therefore the food isn’t authentic. I broke that rule recently. Sorry Vietnamese friend who isn’t on Unilocal, and won’t see this apology so it really doesn’t matter. I should point out that the only thing I’ve purchased from Phở’ Ever is a drink so that excuses me on the above infraction. Sort of. The Thai tea looks watered down, but doesn’t taste like it; tastes pretty dandy actually. I don’t know how they managed to pull that off. Also, they don’t use the sealed plastic lids, but snap-on lids. This is problematic if you tilt your drink too far while driving and then it ends up all over your clothes. Not that it happened to me, but it could happen to you so I figured I’d help you out. $ 4.00(tip included) for a drink. Not the best, not the worst. It was kinda smallish(I’m comparing to Tao Café), but it tasted decent enough that I can’t complain(too much) I guess. The girl at the front is nice. And cute. So yay for that. I’ll be back. Not for the cute girl, I have one of those already. I’ll be back for the food.
