The best haircut in Chicago, hands down. Such great quality Mike takes in each haircut. I lived in DC for a year and traveled back to Chicago a couple of times. Didn’t let anyone in DC touch my hair. Every time I was in town, I’d see Mike. He was worth the wait. You will guaranteed get lined up in the back better than anyone can do it. Just tell him what you are looking for and he will work with you.

This salon completely sucks! It is outdated. They didn’t even get a credit car machine til last week when they were in business for 30 years! This place should close down. I was referred by my sister because she knew the woman stylist. It took 8 hours to do a full head of highlights? I was over charged, She didn’t even know how to mix the bleach with developer. She had the owner’s son do it. I thought it was strange because he had to go in the back to do it. Also she kept complaining I have too much hair and its too long. I don’t need to be criticized about my hair when i’m paying for services. The lady chopped off my bangs too short and tried to cover it up by putting a clip on it like I wouldn’t notice. She insisted I did not need any toner, which I probably need. I have yellow and orange spots in my head. The back of my head has platinum blonde which looks too white. I couldn’t wait to get the hell out of there. I thought she was going to give me a good deal. It’s not even an upscale salon to be changing so much money. Then she kept rushing toward the end and didn’t want to blow out my hair because she had a pedicure coming in. wtff??? I’m spending way more money than someone getting a dumb pedicure. like fix my hair before you do someone else’s damn feet. Very unprofessional place. How the hell was this place around for 30 years? Then when I wanted to leave the Mike guy tried to sell me some conditioner for like $ 10.00. I really hate when people try to sell me stuff. I already own many conditioners and really don’t think that their’s is any different than any other. I tipped her $ 20.00 because she was there all day, but its her fault for being too slow to apply foils. when I left I had a very choppy haircut. It looked terrible so I put a hat on my head. I paid all that money to wear a damn hat! I have nothing against this woman or people working there, but doing hair is not the job for her. I deserve an apology and a refund! I WANTMYMONEYANDTHE8HOURSOFMYLIFEBACKWASTEDINHERE !! Also as I was leaving the owner said I looked beautiful when he just lie to my face. You should not have your clients walking out your salon looking like that with a choppy haircut and four different colors in their hair. It’s your job to make sure my hair looks nice. They only want money. Crooks! I really hate being scammed! THISISTHEWORSTSALON I HAVEEVERBEENTO!!!

Two years ago I was a walk in to this place while my girlfriend went shopping. Today I still go there because they offer great haircuts, right price, when you need them… rarely if ever a wait, plus they take their time to make it right. I’ve never had a barber/stylist spend the time to ensure every hair is trimmed and placed properly. Don’t be put off by the décor!

Great old school barbers. These guys even speak in Italian. Yea, I wish they took credit cards but the cuts are cheap $ 10 – 15 with tip for a guy’s cut. I used to do the Supercuts in-and-out special, thinking a hair cut is a hair cut. But these guys spend twice as much time for the same price and do a way better job. Time for my pre-Christmas cut.
