If you’re ordering pizza on a weekend night, don’t waste your time with this place. They are consistently late, and if you pay in advance(especially if you tip), you’ll get your pizza last because they already got your money.(DON’T PAYORTIPADVANCE!) I waited over two hours for my pizza tonight, and called every 20 minutes for over an hour and 20 minutes and they said it was on their way. When the driver arrived, he said he had it for less than 30 minutes and seemed to have no idea I had been waiting that long. It’s now cold and gross.

MMMMMM!!! Great pizza, but the breaded steak sandwich here is the greatest in Chicago! It’s delicious. Get that with the cheese fries. The staff is also very helpful, not to mention hilarious.

I’ve ordered from Lina’s for about a good 5 yrs before moving out of state. Once we moved back to Chicago, the 1st thing we did was order a pizza from there. Unfortunately, it happened to be the wrong pizza, that was delivered. When I called to let them know of the mistake, I was treated so rudely as if it were my fault. We even offered to take the pizza back instead of waiting an 1 ½ hrs for a correct order to be remad & sent back. Upon arrival, there were 2 boyish looking women who had no customer service training, whatsoever. That was the first incident. The 2nd time we ordered from Lina’s, it was for pick up. We pulled up, my husband went in to pay & get our pizza seeing I had just had foot surgery that day & was returning fm the hospital. I gave him my debit card to pay. He went in & they gave him the hardest time. No buggy I thought since I was right outside. Went in, paid & went home. Got home to open up our dinner & come to find out our pizza was extremely burned on the bottom. So burned that me, a person who loves burned food, couldn’t even eat it! When I called to let them know, I again was spoken to as if it was my fault. As I explained to the call taker that we’d return the pizza for a better cooked one, I was told I’d be receiving my $ back instead. I wasn’t going for that. So, we took the old pizza back & asked for the owner or Mngr. a boyish looking woman w/black short hair & ½ shaved head became annoyed by the request & huffed & puffed at us. She let us know that if we didn’t like the pizza we could go somewhere else. I let her know, as I showed her the burned pizza bottom, that we like Lina’s, that’s why we continue being long term customers. But, what we didn’t like was being treated poorly by the employees and having constant issues w/incorrect orders being delivered as well as burned food. Needless to say, we received our correct remade order. The unfortunate part is, every time after that we’ve ordered, we’ve always received ignorance along with continuous cooking issues. Today, we place an order for their, buy a jumbo get a medium for $ 2, deal & an order of cheese fries. We actually were completely hesitant because of prior issues and also because we’ve discovered Benny’s Pizza on 18th St. Has won our taste buds. But, we were starving & Lina’s is close to home. We even picked up the order. Get home to sit down & eat & of course, our order is screwed up… again. Our pizza was supposed to be ½ pep, ½ sausage. It was wrong! We call & again, the call taker gets an attitude w/my young daughter. Seriously, how hard can a pizza call takers job be? Every single time that we order, something is wrong w/our order. And, to make Things worse, cheese fries are actually just an order of fries w/a tiny container of cheese. They even got that part wrong!!! What was supposed to be cheese, was really ranch dressing. When we went back for cheese, seeing that we paid for cheese, upon entering, we got a laugh in the face by the employees when we brought the issue to their attention. We walked out of there extremely unhappy, no apology, got our cup of cheese and a credit for their mistake. Not even our $ back, but a credit! They’ll take our $, screw up our order & then tell us that there’s no way to refund our $ back for their mistake of an absent ingredient. UNFAIRPRACTICE! Basically, they’re unfairly forcing us to commit to another purchase. We’ll actually only purchase sodas/our credit. And, we will NEVER place another order from Lina’s again. Besides, their recipes change drastically anyhow, the quality of the pizza hasn’t been the same in a little time, the customer service sucks donkey balls & those 2 girls in the front of the dumpy house, are ass bags w/no personality. Why the owners choose to have them represent their business, I seriously don’t know. Because it ruins the business & chases customers away. I’d been ordering from there at least 1 – 2 a week for the past 10 yrs & now to be treated like this, is bad for them because Benny’s will be the family favorite from now on. Lina’s will NEVER get another dime from us again.

I used to order pizza from here all my life I am 29 years old I grew up eating pizza from here about 2 weeks ago I had ordered a pizza and it was not fully cooked I called and explained to them what had happened they told me that they were going to put a credit on my account so I said ok at least they’re trying to make up for it today I call to try and use my credit and they had told me there’s no credit on my account and I haven’t ordered pizza from there in over a year which was untrue i order pizza from there probably every other week I just find it that if you’re trying to satisfy a customer I didn’t ask you to bring me a brand new pizza I threw it in the oven and waited here at my house for it so I figured by you credited my account but that was okay because accidents do happen but when I call to place an order and use the credit that they told me would be put on my account it was not there the girl on the phone was very rude she didn’t want to help me and I will no longer be going there

I live really close to here, so it’s very convenient for me. My roommate and I order from here all the time. The breaded mushrooms are good– I don’t even like mushrooms very much and I like these. I always get a calzone and they are HUGE. Seriously, so big they barely fit in the box. They definitely don’t skimp on the ingredients. They also always manage to get my roommate’s weird, specific order right. Even chain places mess it up frequently but Lina’s never has. Delivery is good and usually very quick. I will say that I wish they sold cans of pop. As of now they only have two liters. But still, very good. Definitely recommended.

After spending awhile out of town and not having time to buy groceries, my fiancé and I decided that it was time to check out local pizza places. We didn’t actually go to Lina’s pizza, but ordered in. We ordered a stuffed cheese pizza, and it was delicious. The sauce was delicious and they certainly didn’t skimp on the cheese! The delivery person was friendly and arrived within the time frame, and the pizza was still perfect. I always worry about ordering delivery with deep dish and stuffed, because it could either get soggy or it could start sticking to the top of the box on the drive over. Not a problem with this pizza. Also, since we usually get the biggest pizza any place offers — we love leftovers — we were concerned as to how it would save if we refrigerated it for a couple of days. We both thought it was even better the next day cold from the fridge. We will definitely be ordering from Lina’s again.

Ordered a large sausage pizza. Was enough to feed 3 adults. Delicious sweet sauce but not as good as Palmero’s 63rd. Second best pizza place in Bridgeport compared to Phil’s.

New ownership? And/or new pizza baker’s? I don’t know, but there’s been a change, still friendly and a great price, however the last couple of pizzas were too salty and saucy. The amount of sauce on it had the cheese sliding off. No one likes a dry pizza, but having sauce drip off the slices is too much. I guess I’ll take a Lina’s break for now and check back later.

Their fries are the best in the neighborhood. I wish Hamburger Heaven Express would use their fries… I usually go there for slices only, there are so many better pizza places in the neighborhood… Phil’s or Ricobene’s for whole pies. Their slices are only good if they are super fresh. When they are fresh they’re delicious. When they’re not, they kind of suck. The slice holder does not keep the slices hot and they don’t put them back in the oven for a reheat. Often they run out of slices and don’t keep alot on hand. And finally, their slices are not cheap. For the price of two slices you might as well order a whole pie from a better place. They should really rethink their slice department. They are the only place in the neighborhood for slices and if they tried harder they probably could have a brisker business. I have ordered their stuffed pizza for pickup and once it was delicious and twice it kind of blew. I want to say something not nice about the counter help, but you can decide for yourself.

Normally I have a picture to go with the review, BUT not this time. I picked up a slice of sausage stuffed pizza and took it home like a gremlin. It was HUGE and good. The sauce is a little tangy and a little sweet… really good and there were nice pieces of sausage. Normally I do not like the crust on a stuffed but this was buttery — almost like there was a hint of cheese in it. AND it was only 5 bucks! Good deal…

Lina’s is slow as hell, it’s not uncommon to be waiting up to an hour after the estimated delivery time– and I only live 8 blocks away! But I continue to order from them because the pizza is good and their minimum delivery total is only $ 10 as opposed to $ 20 from other places. So I can’t really complain since I keep ordering from them anyway.

Be wary of placing an order via ChowNow, the GrubHub-like service that’s featured on their website from the«Click to Order» button. This evening, I ordered a jumbo pizza via ChowNow and, an hour after placing the order, felt a growing concern that my request never reached the restaurant, so I called to check in on it. The woman who answered the phone informed me that my order had been deleted from their online queue, thus they hadn’t started cooking it. The natural follow-up question, of course, is «Why didn’t you call to tell me this?» but the conversation was derailed as she explained how busy the restaurant is and how I could either get a full refund or receive my pizza in about an hour(this was after she promised they would«rush» the pizza to me). She then proceeded to say that they could place a «credit» on my account, without explaining what that means. I followed up on that idea, hoping she was trying to lessen my annoyance by offering a perk, but no, she repeated that my pizza wouldn’t be ready for about an hour and pushed the idea that I could cancel my order if I’d like. Anyway, despite all of this trouble, I decided it would be more a hassle to cancel the order and find another nearby pizza place than to just let this happen. In the end, if all goes well(hah), the pizza will arrive roughly 2.5 hours after my original order.

I went on a late night pizza run. You can order thin crust pizza by the slice or a whole pizza. The pizza is melty and cheesy. The tomato sauce is just right for my taste buds. The ice lemonade is creamy, and since I like sour things, I thought the ice lemonade was good. The staff is nice and the service is pretty good. I think it’s good for late night cravings, drunken nights, or homebody nights.

Moving to Bridgeport last fall, I thought I struck gold having such a great pizza joint half a block away… Things have changed… no more happy chatty southsider lady at the counter who guaranteed I’d be back after first time ordering from there… and she was right! The sauce, the crust, the prices… everything was great! Until apparently they turned over ownership to another member of the family… no more jumbo deal on Mondays… The last pizza I ordered had tomato TOPS… kinda gross… but just picked around… Tonight. .sausage, onion, tomato and garlic pizza… this onion that pulled out from taking a bite was gross… at least 3 inch span and was the onion layer you throw OUT because too rubbery… but…hey! Let’s put it on a pizza and not even chop it down in bite size pieces! \o/ It’s like they lost the passion… they don’t care anymore… I am sadly disappointed in what Lina’s has become.

Linas Linas why are you so yummy. When it comes to Chicago pizza of course everyone loves a good deep dish. But hey it’s not all the time that you want Giordanos nor do you want to spend Giordanos money. Linas pizza is yummy, saucy and cheaper than ever priced pizza! Medium pizzas start at just 11 $ and an extra large is 14 $ how can you beat that deal? And wait just because the pizza is cheap doesn’t mean it’s not made with love! It’s delish! $ 3 delivery and you’ll still receive it hot and ready! Just say YUM!

Go out out your way for their pizza! Wow, sausage thin crust pizza was Really really awesome! Love the crust, nice and light and crispy, but not hard. Fresh taste, flavorful sauce, cheesy, and good amount of yummy sausage. This is BETTER than the Lou Malnatis and Ricobene’s pizza I’ve had. My kids Had the fruit punch Italian lemonade… loved it! Great service from new girl Kristin! She was friendly and knowledgeable. I want more pizza now! Good for takeout, two tables for dining. They should make use of the front corner and put out tables and chairs.

I moved to Bridgeport approaching on a year ago and I haven’t had the need to order pizza until yesterday when me and my boyfriend had a gathering at the house. He advised me to find a 5 star pizza place(he’s such a comedian). Anyway when I moved in my landlord told me how great Phil’s was so my first thought was to order from there however after reading the reviews on Unilocal I was quite skeptical. I decided to try Lina’s because 1) it was the closest to my house and 2) unlike Phil’s they take CC payments. We ordered a jumbo pizza, which is the biggest size. We had Half pepperoni and sausage and the other half just cheese. This pizza was delicious. I think the sauce is what does it for me. Generally my pizza limit is 2 slices but I had several slices last night. My guest thoroughly enjoyed it too. I thought since the jumbo is pretty darn big that we would have extra slices for leftovers. Nope! Not a chance! 4 people demolished that pizza. Good job Lina’s. I look forward to doing business with you again in the future.

Finally got around to trying this place out. I placed a to go order with their buy one get one half off deal. Sausage & Mushroom Pizza — The pizza was okay… and that was it. Wasn’t great and wasn’t bad. It was kind of bland to me. Didn’t really even notice the mushroom in it. Cheese Fries — Nothing special. Breaded Mushroom — Crunchy and good. They had a little problem with the ordering, but they were so nice. Not my first choice, but I’ll probably order again.
