I love this place. I have never had a bad experience here. The pasta with vodka sauce is delicious and the staff is always super nice!

Yummy pasta paradise! We order from here once a week split the Vodka Pasta and a dinner salad. Perfect amount of food for two adults. The chicken chibata sandwich is also great!

I’ve never had a bad meal there. Pot roast sandwich is the best! Great people. Give them your business, you will not be disappointed.

Punky’s has been hit or miss for me everytime i order. Their burgers are probably the highlight of the restaurant for me. Nicely sized, very tasty, but as far as pricing goes. I think it’s just a bit over priced.

The chicken marsala is my go to favorite but this time they really messed it up. The chicken tastes good but the pasta was drowned in all oil. There’s usually a strong wine aroma with a light brown sauce due to the browning of chicken but not this time. It’s an oily mess! I called back to let them know it really, really sucked. I hope they cook with olive oil so it’s a bit healthier!

Came in here with a few buddies for a late lunch one day. We ordered a pizza to share and all tried different wraps — the pizza was really good, and the wraps were even better. We had heard they would be good but they still managed to exceed our expectations. The service there was maybe better than the food. One of the managers named Anthony was awesome. He came over to our table not long after we sat down and gave us some great recommendations and continued to check in on us throughout the meal. It was pretty crowded and we could tell he was really busy but he still made an effort to check on all the customers which we all agreed was pretty impressive service — the guy was definitely working his ass off, but did it with a smile and was cracking jokes with us the whole time. It’s refreshing to go somewhere with service like that and we’ll definitely be back. If you go be on the look for Anthony — he’ll probably be the one sweating from running from table to table.

I’ve been going here for years and never had a bad meal. I love the chicken caesar wrap. They don’t use a tortilla, rather a flat bread that is ridiculously awesome. My favorites: eggplant parm sandwich pepper and egg sandwich chicken breast on garlic bread breaded steak sandwich

I really like this place. The cheeseburger is really good and the pizza is even better. They have a full menu that’s loaded with all types of Italian dishes and the prices are reasonable. A couple of televisions perched high up make it a pretty decent place to catch a game too.

Two words: FRIEDRAVIOLIS! If you haven’t had them you’re missing out! Not to mention the awesome blackhawks pizza they made during the Stanley cup. Good food and good people who work there. Great neighborhood spot!

Pizzas are good and always arrive hot, salads are tasty and fresh, very quick delivery and always friendly service. This is becoming our new go-to«I don’t wanna cook, let’s order pizza» place.

It is tough to find good pizza that delivers to Pilsen that is not some crappy chain pizza place(Papa John is a dope. don’t buy his crappy pizza). We finally found a place. We ordered a caprese salad(very tasty) and a pizza with black olives and bacon. It was awesome! Some of the best pizza I have had in Chicago. Understand, what we got was not«Chicago Style», it was thin, yeasty crust. The sauce is slightly sweet but not overly so. Would like to try more items on the menu but I like pizza too much so I probably won’t. We had no problems.

Pizza is just horrible I gave this place three chances«thought maybe a bad pizza day» but it’s consistent on having bad pizza. The dough is always uncooked and always soggy. I pick up a slice and all the toppings fall right off.

Don’t get the rigatoni with vodka sauce. The sauce was watery and it didn’t even taste like vodka sauce. And the Italian beef was falling apart. The fried ravioli and garlic bread was mediocre.

Ordered a breaded steak, chicken parmesan sandwich and burger. My guy came home and we noticed we received some other chicken sandwich instead of the breaded steak. It wasn’t very good. I’ve had better chicken parmesan sandwiches elsewhere. My brother said his burger was good though. Meal was a letdown. We did call and they said they will give us the sandwich next time which was nice.

Stick with the pizza, it’s good. Otherwise, if you eat an entrée in you will be eating off foam plates with plastic utensils, not an easy or pleasant task. I’ve ordered subs from here in the past and it’s definitely worth it and a much better option than the Subway on 35th. I think the key to Punky’s is knowing what to order and where you’re going to eat it. Plates and silverware would be a game changer here.

Would return, hopefully they have sopressata next time. Ordered a large ‘special’ pizza(four toppings) and mozz sticks through GrubHub. Walked over to the grocery store and was concerned when I received a call — thought they were there already — but alas, it was Grubhub informing me that they were out of the sopressata. Wasn’t sure what to get in its place but asked for extra cheese on the spot. Ended up being a very good – and big – pizza! The pepperoni, spinach and garlic work well together, and they definitely do not skimp on the cheese here. Even having ordered extra, it seemed like a lot. Not a problem for this guy.

I am by Punky’s Pizza everyday because I park around that area to wait for my kids to get out of school. So I have gone into Punky’s over a dozen times. I like their Pizza. I don’t care for their breaded mushrooms or their fries. I have had their burger and it was nothings special but it was only like $ 3.00 for a burger and fries which was cheap snack to have while waiting for my kids to get out of school.

You wouldn’t think much of an Italian joint on the edge of Chinatown, but therein lies the hidden beauty of this place. Been here a few times after late night movies at Showplace Icon. First time was to try their vodka sauce pizza. Hot and fresh with incredibly flavor throughout. The crust was a bit of a downer, but overall, a strong effort. The second was to have the breaded steak sandwich. It’s a total gut-bomb, but worth it. Dare I say it might even be better than Ricobene’s? The interior is as simple and no frills as it gets. You’ll see the occasional EMT or CPD officers here to grab a bite while watching the game. It’s comfortable and clean. Will definitely be back after more late movies.
