My son and his new wife had their wedding reception there last night. The food was over the top. Appetizers were sausage and peppers, pizza and brussetta. Dinner was salad and bread, chicken marsala and Fettuccini Alfredo. Desert was cake, ice cream and a chocolate fountain. There was more than enough for evéryone. The disc jockeys had a place to set up on an upper level, out of the way. The place is beautiful. The owners also own another place across the street and allow guests to use that parking lot which is huge in Chicago.

Had a post graduation celebration for 60 ppl, from the start of our planning process to the end of the event the service was amazing and extremely professional. Each request we made from food, décor, setup and bar options was met and exceeded our expectations. Food was a huge hit, hard to do with so many ppl (especially kids!). Vodka sauce was a crowd favorite. The space is beautiful, we didn’t add any of our own decorations. This place is a hidden gem! We will be back!

Used this place for a baptism… Let me start by saying this place is absolutely beautiful inside! Arched wood ceilings exposed brick walls and old stained glass windows as this place was a church previously. They also work with great decorators that will customize look as you want it!
As for the food… Outstanding! The vodka sauce pasta is the best i have ever had. If this place was a restaurant i would order weekly! We also had the chicken vesuvio that was very tasty. Sausage and peppers and bruschetta for appetizers! All great

We rented the location for a milestone birthday party. The food was excellent. The staff is great. The place is beautiful inside and can be set up to your liking. I would use them again for our next event.

For the second year in a row we had our company holiday party here. There were about 90 guests. We did appetizers, full open bar and buffet dinner.
If you have never been here, it’s worth a site visit because the outside is deceiving. It is a uniquely beautiful location, with arched vaulted beamed ceilings, exposed brick walls, hardwood floors, stained glass windows, and a «choir» mezzanine. It has a full bar and booth seating, as well as side rooms for buffet spreads.
The mezzanine is perfect for a DJ, and the acoustics work well for softer dinner music, as well as post-​dinner dancing in the area in front of the bar.
The staff are friendly and flexible, working with us as our planned activities (awards presentations) and timelines shifted throughout the night.
Once this gem gets discovered, I know we’ll be competing for dates for events. I wish Damenzo’s that success, though — it is well earned and deserved.
