Cashier gets confused with two separate purchases, gets mad, snatches the order tickets from the printer and asks again for the order with an attitude. Apparently he never heard my friend and I were paying separate and that was enough to throw fits.

After being at UIC hospital I needed to get something to eat so I looked up places nearby and bacci pizzeria came up. I decided to try it since it was fairly close. I was there on a Monday night around 9pm. I got a slice of sausage. The pizza looked cold. The re heated back in the oven. When I bit into it, the cheese was cold, flavor was bland. There was no taste at all! Frozen pizza taste better than this! I will not come back here!

Wow! Great pizza, both thin and thick, and at great value! They deliver all the way to the South Loop, and if you have never seen a 30″ pizza before, that alone is worth the trip! The folks inside are super nice(Maria is always the best!) Well worth the trip and we frequently go out of our way to see them for midnight snacks!

Their grilled chicken garden salad was delicious! Plus, they threw in two slices of tomato sauced focaccia bread.

Wow! Bacci Pizzeria Taylor Street has really stepped up their game!!! In my previous review I mentioned the revamping of their menu. Tonight my boyfriend and I noticed an additional change. You know it’s been a while when you come in and something seems different, they updated the décor/atmosphere and it looks great! It definitely gives the place a new vibe. Tonight’s experience was such a pleasure! As always, the staff really do their best to make sure you leave happy! Living in the area as mentioned in my previous review, it’s a nice touch knowing they remember you face and welcome you back with a smile. They always make ordering very easy and do their best to keep up with any special requests. Tonight, the staff reminded me that my last order I went with the Eggplant Over Pasta Dinner — see what I mean about the attention they have when it comes to their customers — they made it easy for me to go with this order for tonight, how could I not! My Boyfriend got a Cheesy Beef and absolutely loved it! Everything was perfect. Tonight’s dinner was exactly what we needed, it was nothing short of perfect! We are very fortunate to have such a great place like Bacci’s in our neighborhood. You better believe I’ll be back for more! Till next time, Thank You!

I love their pizza slices, I only wish they were open longer hours on the weekdays. They’re my savior as I work late and keep odd hours especially on late nights on the weekends. Their sausage pizza is amazing and I would highly recommend it to anyone. Plenty of street parking around, and they’re always pleasant and quick with their service. The food always comes out hot and delicious!

$ 7 for a slice of pizza and a soda. The pizza is super bland and just kind of bleh overall. Also, everyone that works here is rude and needs an attitude adjustment. The last few times I’ve stopped by the selection of slices has been terrible and I left without buying anything. Also, they have stated hours and yet they seem to close whenever they want. I would avoid this place, you’re better off buying a frozen pizza for $ 6, honestly.

Bacci used to be great, but recently something changed and they’ve gone down hill. Save your $and go across the street to Demenzos. I order simple sandwiches and they’re either completely incorrect or they take forever to make. Recently, the slices have shrunk, are bland and went up in price. It’s a shame as they used to be my favorite.

Their pizza slices are large. That sums up the positive. Otherwise, what you get is an old slice of pizza which they will reheat for you and is cold by the time your half way done having it. The vegetables in my «Supreme» pizza were obviously old and tasted bad. At the end you are thinking, I can’t finish this and I’d get a box for the remaining pieces of our two slices. THEYWON’T GIVEYOU A PIZZABOX!!! Right! You could have ordered a slice to go and have had it there, but they tell you that we don’t give away our pizza boxes because they are expensive. You could get one of the other boxes(that didn’t fit what we had to take). That’s just stupid!

Pizza was decent, customer service was horrible. My bf and I get there this past Wednesday at around 7/7:30PM, 2 people ahead of us, we wait a little bit, place an order for one slice of pepperoni, and wait a little bit more… okay, that is obviously expected. More people come in, they place their orders(about 4 – 5), and they wait. Meanwhile, the 2 people ahead of us get their orders, then all the people that placed their orders after us receive their orders until it is just my bf, myself, and another guy(who just place his order) waiting. We do a little more waiting, the cashier doesn’t even lift her head up and bother to acknowledge us to ask us what we’re waiting for. Eventually my boyfriend asks if he’s getting his slice. She asks what we ordered and then puts the order in. The order wasn’t even placed! All that waiting for once slice of pepperoni to be heated up. That lady was not the one who took our order, but she should at least have the decency to acknowledge us to ask what we’re waiting for. Another worker who just got there, a guy, asks us what is going on, apologizes, and gives us another slice on the house. Now he was cool… that other lady sucked and she just stayed off to the side for the remainder of our time there, pretending to be busy.

Bacci is awesome!!! They have generously donated pizza for several children’s events at the branches of the Chicago Public Library that I have managed! THANKS, BACCIPIZZERIA!!!

Just brought the veggie sandwich back to my office. Worst tasting sandwich I’ve ever had, completely flavorless served soggy, with equally soggy fries, served by unpleasant looking employees. What a waste of $ 9.80

Huge slices, fair prices, open late, less than three blocks from my house. For a broke grad student that means this place makes me pretty happy on the regular. Only way they could be better is to add more vegetarian-friendly pizza options but when I’m hankering for pizza I’ll take what I can get. Haven’t had much besides pizza but I imagine the other offerings are on par; the mango Italian ice is especially delicious.

It’s cheap take-out Italian food. Nothing special, but I do indulge in it every so often. I’m a fan of the Rigatoni with Creamy Red Vodka Sauce. It’s a HUGE portion, enough to feed 2 people for at least 2 meals and it costs $ 9. I’ve also gotten the Diavolo Pizza and the Bacci Lady Pizza(which is their tasty version of a chicken/bacon/ranch pizza). Both were good and I would get them again for a late-night, lazy dinner option.

Well. It’s been over a year and it’ll probably be another until I’m foolish enough to return here again. The pizza although decent in quality is just not good enough to put up with the shitty people who work here. The other menu items(as mentioned in other reviews) are to be stayed away from. Burgers are frozen and nobody knows how to cook pasta without making it mush. I get it, this place caters to college kids as you get a lot of food for a reasonable price. What I don’t get is the people who you guys hire to work here. Why is it so hard not to smoke near the doors of an establishment, especially when you work there!!! Ahhhhhh!!! Nobody wants to smell this crap, it’s disgusting. You shouldnt be allowed to smoke during work hours when you work in food service because the smell sticks to you. Again, just disgusting. Cashiers are still too busy gossiping and ignoring customers. Have a question about a menu item? Too bad, nobody actually knows what’s in the food they serve. So the prices went up, quality went down and I’m never going back.

This place has MASSIVE slices of pizza. For about $ 5 – 6, these slices certainly are not mind-blowing in quality, but noteworthy in quantity. If you’re starving and looking for a snack, you may want to consider splitting a slice. But they will heat it up and cut into smaller pieces for you, making it easy to scarf down on the go.

I’m bewildered as to how a place can do so many things so poorly. I’m serious, we’ve started ordering different things to see if there is anything good here. Burgers, nope. weird small frozen patty. sandwiches and salads, nope. The fettuccine alfredo wasn’t bad, but not good either. The pizza isn’t great, but is a great value. desserts are good. The fries, however, are terrible, both types. i’ve tried a couple of varieties and i hope someone affiliated with the place sees this: PLEASEFORBABYJESUSSAKEPLEASECOOKYOURFRIES! I’ve never seen fries so white and limpy and undercooked anywhere. not a single crispy one in the batch. I keep ordering them thinking that they are a fluke, maybe the cook was off that day, but nope. Parmesan and pizza fries, which should be great concepts, ruined by potato mush. Oh and they use this neon pink bbq sauce that ive seen in other places and dont necessarily dislike, but it doesn’t go well with the food here.

If you’re a UIC student, you can’t walk here. Must drive, it’s a far walk. It’s $ 32 for a 30″ pizza. But if you order online, you can get it for $ 28.75. It’s enough to feed 6 people! Takes 30 minutes to make. The pizza was so huge, we had a hard time fitting it in the car. You’re paying about $ 5 per person for a pizza that tastes descent and it’s kinda neat seeing such a huge piza. Here is something to think about though, you can get two Large 14″ Pizza from Pizza hut that’s about 5 minutes away and pay $ 18. So Bacci’s is a little pricey, but it tastes way better than Taylor Made Pizza.

Didn’t get to eat any pizza, but I am in love with the Italian ice deal! Seriously ended up with over a pint of Italian ice for only $ 2. It was a sweet treat on a hot day, and then a tasty dessert later in the day! Ha!

Foot long pizza slices that are almost as wide as they are long… now that’s big! Veggie for about $ 6 tax and total. Wish I could have found a knife so sharing it would have been easier. Big enough for two, the hubs and I split it and it was plenty. They sell em by the pie too, the whole pizzas would make for an awesome sports party pizza. Good crust, good flavor, healthy dose of cheese. We enjoyed it outside on their very small wrap around patio area complete with a few tables. I love casual patios because we can walk the dogs and stop at a dining destination along the way. Got a soft serve cone to complete the meal, it was free with my checkin but would cost $ 1 otherwise. I wouldn’t pay a dollar for after experiencing it because it was the iciest soft serve ever, thats a no go. Not only that but it was soft so it couldn’t be topped very high. Melted like crazy. If you like your soft serve icy, get it in a cup… you’ll get more. They did have gelato which I would guess is much better than the machine dispensed slush. Pizza, YEA. Ice cream, NAY… never thought I’d hear myself say that!
