Simple for me. Compared to its competitors I just don’t think they had great prices, menu, and overall taste. I’ve been twice, once in STL (chesterfield) and once in Chicago (Schaumburg) and left both times unimpressed. With that being said I’ll probably never come back.
Positive was employees were nice and quick service both times.

We were in the Valley for a few errands and wanted a sub sandwich so decided to try Jersey Mike’s for the first time.
Not going to lie, wasn’t super impressed. The listed menu is simple enough but the employee taking my order didn’t ask me the size I wanted and I eventually realized she put in for the biggest one. Not a lot of options for the sandwich so got it plain and added chips, soda and a cookie to my order. My husband got one of the hot ones, along with the chips, soda and cookie and said it wasn’t bad but not one of his favorites.
The staff was nice and helped when needed but they didn’t seem as comfortable around guests. May go back, may not, we’ll see!

Can’t say I’m impressed at all so far… Value compared to competition just isn’t there… placed an online order for pick-​up on a Wednesday evening: Big Kahuna + Chipotle Mayo, Grilled Veggie Wrap…
This «regular» Big Kahuna size was smaller than a typical footlong Subway but at a similar price point so not any special value there at all… and though my note said «lots of Chipotle Mayo please», it was hard to tell if there was ANY… and they forgot the lettuce and tomato add-​ons too…
The Grilled Veggie Wrap was almost the same price point as the Big Kahuna and mostly just lettuce and tomatoes… for that price point, you expect a heckuva lot more grilled veggies…
Not likely we’ll try them again… back to Subway or JJ’s or Firehouse… better values there for sure IMO…

I love this place. The sandwiches are awesome. I highly recommend the food, as long as the employees aren’t eating their lunch on the back counter and then coming up to make your sandwich while they’re still chewing. Quite literally one of the nastiest things I’ve witnessed at a sandwich shop. Give your employees a proper break so they aren’t chewing food over my lunch. Gross.

Yum! Super impressed and very friendly staff. They had a special when you buy a giant sub (it’s a whole loaf of bread) and your second giant is only$ 4.99. Some weekday special? We have enough leftovers for another lunch. I picked the chipotle chicken cheesesteak and my husband got the chipotle beef cheesesteak! Great white bread and lots of meat and toppings within. Not sure on the comments about the staff? They couldn’t have been nicer. One guy even ran after us because we accidentally left my sons fire truck toy on the table. Definitely would go back.

I love this place for good sandwiches. My favorite is the original Italian — mike’s way. The staff is loud and wacky. It’s always packed (which should tell you something about their sandwiches) but the sandwiches are made fast. The meats are fresh and they make it right in front of you. It’s my favorite sandwich place in the Chesterfield valley area.
I now belong to their points club and have earned several free sandwiches!

We have eaten at jersey mike’s all over this nation and have never came to one that was rude as this one. We had to pay for our food before the meat was even done being sliced. The manager is a dick. Couldn’t get chips or anything because he was in a hurry to get our money. Won’t be back again.

Wife and I Tried it for lunch today. Nothing to write home about. The wheat bread is not that great and the meats were ok. Didn’t have many condiments you could choose from and no hot peppers. Nothing special. $ 21+ for 2 people for lunch (2 combos)

Had the Original Italian, Mike’s Way. Reminds me of growing up as a young kid in a suburb of Philly when our church would do sub sales and make fresh subs. Those were some fantastic subs. I had the mini portion. Was plenty for lunch. Fast and friendly service even though there was a line.

The absolute best Philly Cheesesteak I have had here in St. Louis! The cheese reminds me of the white queso cheese dip that they use at mexican restaurants. I love this place! I have not ventured into trying other items on the menu but I must say you cannot go wrong with the Philly here!!!

Great, Fast and Friendly Service. I saw a billboard on Hwy 40 and it looked amazing so I pulled off the exit and decided to try it. So glad I did, one of the best subs! The Original Italian, Mike’s Way!

Found competition for firehouse subs. Went with the Chipotle Philly and man was it tasty and loaded! Good sized sub, chips, and drink for less than 10 bucks!

Chipotle cheese steak grilled to order. No microwave here. White American cheese pairs well with steak + onions +peppers… But i would like more of all the toppings. Seemed like they were overly generous with bread compared to the filling in this sandwich. Other sandwiches appeared to have more toppings.
Customer service was over the top, take it down a notch, please.
Overall, certainly better than Penn Station but nothing too special.

Being born and raised on the east coast, NY. You miss how things are done, when i order a subi expect more than just 2 pieces of meat and cheese in between to large pieces of bread like youd get at most chains or cheap delis. This place did not disappoint, huge subs like id order back home all the dressings you could want and they have a point system where u hit a certain point and you get a free sub. Nothing beats this place for a good sub sandwich.

Club sandwich Mike’s Way with bacon (hold the mayo but add pepper spread) is exceptional. I only wish they had a size in between regular and Giant. Staff over the top friendly!

I’ve only had the club (#8), but let me tell you how delicious it was. I got it «Mike’s Way» and it was heaven. Great bread, great ingredients, freshly sliced deli meat… yum! This place is definitely worth a try.

I love trying new places. Sometimes they are amazingly good/​bad and sometimes they are right in the middle. This place was right in the middle for me.
I ordered their chipotle cheese steak. It was really good but also really messy. Cooked on the flat top while I waited. The steak was good but nothing spectacular. The white American cheese had that ‘stick to your teeth’ cheesy goodness but the best part of the sandwich was the onion and pepper medley. There was a certain sweetness there that really added quite a bit to the sandwich. I opted for the white bread and it was slightly chewy. It may well have been crunchy at some point but the nefarious cheesesteak slime (not necessarily a bad thing) wiped out that attribute if it was ever present.
I doubt I will crave this place but I might give them another shot if the mood strikes me.
One final thought… staff was super friendly and very knowledgable about their offerings.

Good jersey style sam’miches in the Midwest! Finally, great food for a fair price point. If your are in the Valley, I highly recommend this sandwich shop.
