This place is close to where I live, so I thought I would give it a try. I’m a guy, so I usually am ok with my haircuts as long as they are decent. When I arrived, i was a little scared given the screaming kid and only 2 people working. However, it was a little after lunch, and probably not a high demand area. The person who put me into the system seemed uninterested to be there, so the customer service lacked a little. However, she was also the same person to cut my hair. Once I was in the seat, she did a great job of talking and keeping me occupied while she cut my hair. She was very good at my military cut. I’ll try to come back later and give her a shout out, but I cannot remember her name right now. Overall, the haircut went really well, and I’ll be back. The price isn’t bad for the results. I look for haircuts, not spa treatments, so it was good for me. I’ll go back.

When visiting Great Clips or any chain hair cut establishment it is important to understand that you will not always get the same person cutting your hair. In fact, it rarely happens. I have been to the SportClips in Southpoint a dozen times and each time I have had someone else cut my hair. At this Great Clips location there are generally the same women working. When you find a person that cuts your hair the way you like it it is often smart to call ahead to see if they are working. The location is perfect as I live in the Meadowmont area. The wait is never more than 15 or 20 minutes.

I’ve had consistently good experiences here for a few years. It’s not usually busy, and the stylists have all been nice and skilled at their job.

You’re in and you’re out 10 minutes later. Can’t say they go the extra mile, but they do a fairly decent job and the price is fair. It’ll be my go to spot for the next year and half as it’s a quick 5 minute drive from where I live.

I think I agree with the concensus: I needed a men’s haircut, and I got a men’s haircut. I did enjoy using their iPhone app to secure my place in line before even arriving.

Most of the stylists there can do a competent job at giving you a basic men’s haircut and several of them do a great job. They do a good job at getting people in and out pretty fast. Everyone I’ve ever had cut my hair at this location has been friendly without being sappy. So I give them a hearty A-OK.

An advice for women: don’t ever get your hair cut here. They might be OK with doing men’s cuts(as my no-fuss husband has been pretty satisfied), but if you’re a woman and don’t want to walk around with a bag over your head for the next 2 months, don’t come here. In an impulsive fit of desperation a few months back, I came to get my hair trimmed for a job interview the next morning. I knew this place was located close by, and it was still open at dinner time hours. The woman — I am not exaggerating– took a pair of scissors and just sheared a straight line across the bottom length of my hair. The«hair cut» took all of 7 minutes and during that time, she was struggling to make any kind of conversation with me because all she wanted to talk about was college basketball, which I don’t follow. Needless to say, I had to go home and fix my own hair by re-cutting it and styling it like crazy to cover up her flaws. There were still a lot of long, uneven strands that she had missed completely. Even if the price was cheap($ 12), she didn’t do her job properly. Maybe it’s because she figured my hair wasn’t worth cutting due to my indifference towards basketball… sacrilege.
