Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa

The day of our appointment it was miserable, cold rainy and of course I was running late. I ended up having to stay later at work then I intended. The appointment was for me and my daughter — it was a birthday gift for her. Frantically late I called and left a message. I’m sure I sounded frazzled. The manager called and left a message that made my day (I was driving around Durham during a torrential rain storm): «We’ve checked and we can move your appointment by 30 minutes so relax and take your time!» I’m sure if it had been a busy day they wouldn’t have been able to accommodate us but I was happy that they made the effort to work with us on a crazy stressful day. Massages were perfect. Love HnS!

All I can say is this location has excellent customer service! My rife and I both had massages with different massage therapist. My therapist was incredible and extremely talented! I would go again!

I signed up as a member at a different location before this one opened, but there is never an issue pulling my packages over from the other one. Great customer service when booking, arriving, and checking out. Massages have always been great and I’ve had them from quite a few different people there.

Terrible massage experience with Paul. If you like pain, ask for Paul. However, my friend had a great experience with Chelsea.

Great experience at Hand and Stone last night with Olivia! Before, during and after my appointment for waxing service she was an expert professional that clearly loves the work she does and prides herself on exceptional results! I am a little bashful and felt so comfortable and confident in her hands. The front office staff and manager greeted me personally (along with others in the busy room) which was a nice touch and we were all smiles and promptly seen at appointment times! A rare 5 stars, I will be back and highly recommend this neighborhood gem!

Very polite receptionist and experiened staff! I will be returning for sure. I’m not sure why the other reviewers had negative experiences but mine were great!

I would definitely say stay away from this location… they just talk sweet, but I don’t feel that they really care about their customers. Without going into further detail, I would just say bad service, save your money and time and go somewhere else. There are enough other massage and facial spa in the area which I am sure better than this location.

Was at this location last night me and a friend and was not impressed with our massages was had gotten a Swedish massage deep and was not fillign relaxed at all when finished fill like it was rushed and having one person in the evenings seems odd to me could be more business.
