Both fountain drink machines in the lobby were completely empty. Informed us after 8ish min of waiting for food that a potato would be another 15 min. All trash cans were overflowing. Food that we did get wasn’t bad, just not nearly as good as Wendy’s usually puts out. :/

I went through this Wendy’s drive thru this past Wednesday and ordered a side salad with ranch dressing, the young lady at the speaker told me it would be $ 1.83, when I got to the window to pay I had no cash so I handed her my debit card. She promptly gave it back without a receipt, my first mistake was not demanding one, I had a gut feeling something wasn’t right so as soon as I got home I checked my bank account and she had charged my card $ 7.12. I called and spoke with her manager immediately and he said to come in and he would give me the cash back, I said thanks but I would like it removed from my account and I will just pay you the $ 1.83. He then told me that he found my order and it had been rung up at 1:47pm which is correct and that it showed it was wrung up as a cash payment and that I had given her $ 2.00 and the receipt showed changed back of .17 cents. I went up with my phone and tried to pull the charge up by phone but it didn’t show except on my home laptop. He again tried to give me cash and again I told him to wait until I could bring the paper showing it on my bank account and then I wanted it credited back to my account not cash. I have called his DM and no one has called me back, I have spoken with corporate and no one has called me back. My daughter tells me that when she worked at a popular fast food restaurant that a girl at the drive thru there did this all of the time and pocketed the money until she turned her in for it. The manager that I spoke with at Wendy’s said he couldn’t find any charge on her register for $ 7.12 and therefore cannot credit my account. My concern is that she will continue to steal from people and that if she has access to a skimmer customer’s bank accounts will be compromised. UPDATE: So to be fair the DM just called me and was very apologetic, she said she went through their computers yesterday and still couldn’t find the charge to my bank account, even though her explanation doesn’t make sense to me because it’s just a guess as to what may have happened other than the cashier making a little extra on the order, I feel that at least now everyone there is aware that something is wrong. The DM asked me to go back to the Wendy’s and they will try to credit it back, she said she is also offering me a complimentary meal.

This is the worst Wendy’s I’ve been to, not because of the food but because of the rude staff. I went through the drive-thru a couple of times at this location and I’ve had both a manager and regular employee act terribly rude and as if they don’t care one bit. They refuse to answer any menu questions or give any clarity. They handed me a large drink dripping with tea on the sides and the lid only halfway on. There are WAY too many choices in this area to put up with that kind of poor service.

Drove 5 miles to find a location that has good ratings. Very new and clean. Got the Ghost pepper cheese fries! Awesome! Not too hot but I sweat just under my eyes from them. Yeah!

I drive by this Wendy’s on my way home from work and stop by several times a month for a quick snack. The Wendy’s by our house is terrible so unless I’m getting it here I don’t eat Wendy’s. I have never had a single issues here, my food is always made correctly(I’m stupid picky), it’s hot and the lobby and bathrooms are always super clean. I’ve also never had an issue with the staff and although they’re a bunch of youngins they are also very respectful and don’t see to hate their job the way others have commented on. The only thing that bums me out is the sweet tea always tastes like it’s been sitting out all day. It does scare me about mold in the nozzle, I used to work at a restaurant and know how dirty those things can get and also know no restaurant ever cleans them correctly. Not a good sign since it seems like the tea always tastes this way. I now opt out of getting a drink here because I usually carry around water anyway. Other than that my experiences with them have always been positive.

My daughters burger in the kids meal was undercooked! I can’t believe they would undercook a burger for a kids meal! I am very disappointed. New makeover for the building but maybe they should spend more time on teaching employees how to prepare food properly. If my daughter gets sick from this I’m seriously going to be very upset and hold you accountable for any/all medical bills.

Teens seem to hate their job and have no idea what customer service is. Felt like I was being rushed to order and then did not even get all the items I asked for :(

The drive-thru at this Wendy’s is superb! It is definitely the fastest drive-thru in Austin, the state of Texas, and possibly the United States of America. I pull up, they take my order, I give them money, they give me food, I leave all in less than a minute usually. It’s like this EVERYSINGLETIME I go there so there’s definitely consistency. I’ve never written a review about a fast food place, but felt compelled to give this place 5 stars due to the exceptional service. Never been inside so can’t say much about that.

I’ve been to this Wendy’s several times. The food wasn’t bad and the place looks nice but every time I’ve been there I’m hit by a very nasty smell when coming through the door. It kind of smells like sewage. For this reason I will not be returning unless that smell goes away.

Came through the drive through around 9:15 tonight. The tall big white guy who was taking my order was very impatient. I ordered 2 waffle cones and pulled up to the window. Handed him the my money, no hello or anything. Hands me my change back and says nothing. No thank you or anything. I asked for a napkin and again he says nothing just hands it to me. Is it to much to even say hello or thank you?

Although I don’t often ‘do’ fast food, I recently had a very busy day including a large group of people. The group at large was hungry and there was no time for anything but a quick drive thru. Wendy’s used to have a reputation for quality so it was quickly decided among the group that we would grab a large order and keep on with our day. This is the only fast food at the intersection of 1431 and Parmer(The Sonic is down a little further East & Whattaburber further West). This is not a new location — its been here a long time. It was an off time when we arrived — and no one was in the drive thru line the entire time we were there. We were it. Although I had a vehicle full of people, there were others we were ordering for as well. I pulled to the speaker box and tried to keep track of the order as I went, and people were talking to me. I did not want to forget anyones food so when I got to the window I asked the boy at the register to repeat the order. He suggested two identical orders that were not ours and I stated so. The boy was obviously new and although he tried, he could not figure out how to read the order(honestly he may be literacy challenged) — so he asked the manager for help. She arrived with the air of being bothered and irritated — obviously not interested in training the new employee. She immediately lit into him — then turned to me and hurriedly read back the order in a ‘don’t bother me’ way. When the total of $ 45+ was announced as my total, I handed her payment and she turned away at the window. So I waited a min — then asked if the receipt would be with the food at the next window — to which she stated loudly«I GIVEUP» shoving a hand full of receipts at me and stormed off. I don’t know how this place is up and running with management like that. Someone from above obviously needs to do some housecleaning with staff. Employees should not be treated that way and neither should customers.
