Love the custard but I have never ever been served a sundae without cream and a cherry before… how is this a sundae?!

The food is delicious and the ice cream is phenomenal! The service is always prompt and friendly. I do feel that it is a little expensive so we don’t get to go as often as we would like.

we dined in wednesday evening about 930, they were cleaning the machines so nothing ice cream, the cashier(same one cleaning machine walked over to take our order with vanilla ice cream on his forearm) condiment station was nasty, ketchup on counters, no ketchup in the dispenser, 3 employees eating on break, LOTS of dirty tables. food took way too long

While I’m not much of a custard fan, I decided to finally visit this one as I’ve passed a different one a thousand times during my time working in Rd Rk. The service was pretty quick. I was just looking to get some desert for the kiddos. I ordered the small sundae for myself as I really wasn’t in the mood for anything more than that as I was running behind. I found the custard to be pretty tasty. The kids also enjoyed it. Looking at the menu during my order, I see that they also sell other things such as burgers, hot dogs, fries, onion rings, chicken sandwiches, etc. I will definitely be visiting again to try some of the other things, but the custard is a must.

A decent burger place with delicious custard. Perhaps Freddy’s style is starting to grow on me. As with an earlier review I wrote about another Freddy’s, I still think that the burgers are tasty enough, but decidedly odd to my palate. The super-thin patty and the strange crunchy/chewy edges are still there, but ordering the burger as a double or triple does act as a ‘multiplier effect’ for the beefy flavor of the patties. The staff here is friendly and well-intentioned, but I believe I came in on a training shift, as the ordering and pickup process seemed strangely disorganized and chaotic. I had to come up twice to ask how my ice cream and burger order were coming along. This place gets 3 stars on the ‘CTJ Scale’, as noted below. 5 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Jesus good. Would be OK passing on after finishing a meal here. 4 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Mary good. Would be OK being seen eating here by Mother Mary. 3 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Joseph good. Would be OK having a beer here with Jesus’ Dad. 2 out of 5 stars: Come-to-the-Apostles good. Meh. Wouldn’t have my last supper here. 1 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Nobody good. I wouldn’t have my penultimate supper here, either.

Came at 7pm on a Monday night, only 2 cars were ahead of me in the drive thru line and my food took 20MINS! Not acceptable.

As good as it gets for«fast food» burger joints. The food is consistently great, the shakes and ice cream(frozen custard) desserts are very good as well. My wife likes the skinny fries.

Freddy’s knows how to make one Mighty Fine burger, and there fries are seasoned to perfection. I had to hold off the temptation to eat their custards because they all look so good, but next time, next time.

To satisfy the sweet tooth, Freddy offers a variety of custard delights. The funnel cake sundae is a treat that brings a lot of good childhood memories. Customize your custard to your heart’s delight. The only thing that feels an afterthought is the flattened steak burgers. They look like an elephant sat on the burger patties and they taste dry as burned hash brown. My recommendation is to focus on the custard and leave the burgers.

I have always been a big fan of this place and their delicious burgers, but my last visit was disappointing enough to leave a 1 star review. I went to the drive-thru on 9÷1÷15 around 8:45p; after a short wait for my order, the girl working the drive-thru window just opened the window and handed me the bag, no «here you go» or «have a good night»…nothing, I don’t think she even looked at me. Not my idea of friendly service but I wasn’t going to make a big deal about it… The cherry on the cake was when it came time to eat. The bottom of the paper box container that the burgers come in had a hole in it, I picked up the burger and the bottom bun was soaking soggy. I wish I would have gone back to but it was almost 9pm and I was already home and tired of the experience.

This used to be one of my favorite burger places until today. I skipped the drive thru and went inside order. And after about 45 minutes of waiting, I asked what happened to my order and was told it was given to one of the drive thru customers. And I was told they were sorry and they started on my order. I think I should have been compensated with at least an order of fries. Hopefully this isn’t a common occurrence.

So… I’ve passed by this eatery a few times and finally decided to pay a visit. I’ll admit, my expectation of a very«commercial» experience was thoroughly at the height of my list. I approached the counter then decided to run into the restroom before ordering. On my way, I noticed an ongoing stream of pictures highlighting«Freddy’s» life. These continued into the restroom where one picture was captioned«…Freddy’s uses the highest quality chicken for the chicken sandwiches and chicken nuggets». I was Intrigued, so I made my way back to the counter. When the employee asked if I was ready to order I inquired about the chicken and whether it was pastured chicken. She was unaware and questioned the MGR. Upon her return she stated that no it’s not pastured nor is it free-range or cage free. Of course, I thought how can you state«Freddy’s uses the highest quality chicken» when its apparent that they don’t. I think someone should change that caption. Anyway, I ordered a double streak burger combo, figuring this must be the staple that got Freddy so popular. It was fantastic and i will return Mmm mmm good… great job! Minus 1 star for the NOT so high quality chicken.

This rating is based 99% on custard. The food is fine and maybe even good for fast food, but the frozen custard is amazing. It is creamy and delicious and vanilla and chocolate are equally wonderful! Stop here for a super satisfying treat!

I don’t eat hamburgers, but the chicken tenders and fries were really good. We had to return our fries because they were too salty, but the manger made us a fresh batch :) We’ll be back

Customer service is a no go here. & they are almost always EXTREMELY slow. But I do love the food. I get the steak melt every time and I could die for it. I always ask for extra table seasoning for the fries too because they skimp out on them. But never the less, the food is good.

Food is good as always and service was fast and friendly. A good place to take you kiddos. Place is always clean every time we are there. The frozen custard is awesome! Fries are smaller than I like tho but it’s ok.

I really do love the frozen custard. It is just creamier than ice cream. The cheese burgers are tasty, but the patty melt was meh. I’ve had better. I’m not a personal fan of matchstick fries either so most of the side options I’m not eating much of.

Let me just start off by saying this place is my new favorite burger joint. This is not your typical place for burgers. The steakburger patty’s are splendid. Pretty much everything about the burger was perfect. The fries are thin and crispy; not thick, undercooked potato strips like so many other places. They also have this super duper fry sauce to dip them in. The manager is ONPOINT! He is very friendly, not in an annoying way either. Since we hadn’t been there before he gave us a scoop of the vanilla and chocolate frozen custard to sample for free. He even brought it to our table, after making his rounds checking everyone’s tables.

This Freddy’s location seems to have a new and more friendly manager :)) he said his name is Drew? He was very friendly and helpful with the menu and provided excellent service. I haven’t been to the restaurant in a good two months, but it looks a lot cleaner. A young woman name Jessica also assisted me with selecting some wonderful frozen custard; this location is really turning around! I will definitely be back with friends and family for a quick bite to eat.

Always friendly staff. Nice menu selection. My favorite is the double patty melt. The assembly is simile & appealing. Favor of grilled onions, melted Swiss cheese on rye toast is spot-on. Fries are thin & crispy combination is a good value. Special Freddy’s sauce @ the pickup window is nice option Try it. Feeling good… Try the fresh custard On a hot day is great. Turtle Sundae is a my favorite

As always, I’m looking for vegetarian meals. Althought this is not the healthiest option, I desire an artery clogging meal every now and then. The veggie burger may be purchased as a meal with a side of fries and fountain drink. I appreciate that a veggie burger is available; however, it always falls apart. It is made in house, which is a plus… it just needs a better binder. If you’re in a hurry or craving a greasy veggie meal, this will do. My only complaint is that it is not extremely clean. There were flies present and dirty tables.

Love having both dinner and dessert here. The burgers have these crispy-edged thin patties that give me cravings and the fries are crispy, plentiful, and flavorful, with a wide variety of toppings available so you can have them any way you want. The custard is great stuff– its not as divine a dessert as an Amy’s Ice cream but its close– I’d say its light-years better than DQ or Sonic. And a tiny size concrete is more than enough for me after a full meal. I don’t know if it was a fluke, but my husband got a fried chicken sandwich and it didn’t look or smell all that appetizing to me. He ended up peeling some dried up/gristly strips from it, and while he didn’t complain, I don’t think its something he’d order again. The only other thing about this place is that it always feels a little grimy. Sticky floors and less than pristine tabletops– its not enough to put me off but it is enough for me to take note of. Its a fast food place though, I wouldn’t judge too harshly. Besides, there’s always the drive thru!

I like Freddy’s! I like the convenience of this location. The drive-thru makes it way too easy to swing through for some custard. Oh yeah, the custard! My favorite thing about Freddy’s! It’s not cheap, but it’s so good! This Freddy’s is so great about their«pup treats» ! The employees get so excited when they see my dog in the car. It makes the trips through the drive thru so much fun. The custard is his favorite thing about Freddy’s, too! I like Freddy’s steakburgers, too. I’ve said it before, but I think what differentiates these burgers is that the cut their pickles length-wise. I’m not sure why that small detail seems to make such a difference, but it does! If Freddy’s had a few less expensive options, I would be here more often. When I feel like paying a little more for custard and a good burger, Freddy’s is a great choice!

Review for ice cream only. We each had a turtle sundae, a medium in size. It was large for an ice cream shop medium. The taste was great with the ingredients being high quality. My only problem with Freddy’s is it is very noisy inside and hard to hear when they call out your order. People seemed to spot what they ordered and went up to the counter. When we left and went out the door you could clearly hear the orders called. Sit outside and wait to be called and then eat inside would work.
