Wonderful dinner with out of town guest. Great atmosphere, service, selection and overall five star experience. We shared ample serving of the best calamari appetizer, had a small affordable Caesar Salad — and Veal Parmesan, Veal Marsala and their house special Gnocchi. Supurb. Elizabeth, our server deserves special mention. Attentive, informed and yet not hovering or too quick or too slow. Same with the rest of the staff. Very pleasant live music that was enjoyable, but not intrusive to our conversation. And then the bill. Are you kidding me? Even with drinks and wine it was most affordable. Loved the entire experience.

Excellent food, excellent service. Wish we had known about this gem of a restaurant before this. Although we went early enough to get a table for two, by the time we left the place was filled and there were quite a few people waiting. So, shhh, don’t tell too many people about how wonderful this place is.

Great service from our server, Joshua. He did an excellent job answering my husband’s questions about the menu. Every item that came to the table was hot and fresh. We ordered from the restaurant week menu and each of our meals was $ 28. With a glass of wine, our total bill came to $ 85(without tip). I’d say this is probably more expensive than three«$» but it was completely worth it. We’ll definitely be coming back next time we’re in Palm Springs!

Lots of salt in their food which was a total buzz kill. The house made ravioli were good, but they were unfortunately covered in their over salted tomato sauce which tasted canned, not fresh and light. Oh well. Sand Dabs again very over salted. Pretty old school food and menu. Pretty old clientele too for happy hour and early dinner. Better places for Italian than Trilussa and Sammy G’s for sure.

The food and atmosphere were absolutely amazing! I ordered the BBQ chicken pizza and it was the best version of the dish I’ve ever tried! It had fried onion pieces on it which really topped it off well. Easily enough for two to share and the price was decent. My wife ordered the gnocchi which comes in your choice of 3 or 4 different sauces, so she had the four cheese one. She loved it as well. This may be our new go spot for Italian food.

Had a family dinner here for a short weekend vacation. We came in early(5ish) and didn’t have reservations but that was okay, we were seated right away. Staff was friendly and helpful. My son and I both ordered the Pasta Carbonara — he likes Penne and I like Spaghetti so we ordered different noodles, the kitchen made a mistake and we both got Penne. I hate wasting food so I took the plate. It was delicious, no complaints about it. My husband had a Caesar Salad with anchovies and loved it, my little man ate the kids version of spaghetti and meatballs — he was happy as well. They serve an amazing bread and tapenade appetizer. I could have eaten only that and been happy. Margarita and lemon drop were delicious. Highly recommend. I’ll go back when we visit again.

Had the pizza and was very disappointed… It was worse than a low grade frozen pizza. The sauce was like chef boy-r-Dee or like Ellios frzn pizza, the crust was too soft and the meatballs were flavorless… Probably frozen too. Yuck! I won’t be back.

We were in Palm Springs to take our little one to Wet ‘n’ Wild.(She had never been to a water slide park. Came here for dinner and everything was great. Perfect huge plate of calamari. Fantastic. Beautiful, fresh Caesar Salad. The Vodka pasta… pancetta and cream. Oh my god. Absolutely fantastic. Delicious. Good service, beautiful atmosphere. What a wonderful restaurant offering great value and a warm, fulfilling experience.

This may seem crazy but it was too much of a good thing! The first couple of bites were heaven but suddenly the pasta carbonara was so rich I could only eat a small portion before becoming overly sated. I would have gotten sick if I continued. There was so much pancetta that it overtook the dish, and the pasta was absolutely drenched in buttery yolk sauce, and I mean just bathed to the hilt in it. Thickest, richest pasta dish I ever had. It was like it was concentrated and needed about a half pound more of pasta to balance it out. It’s amazing to me, also, because that’s a lot of food cost in that one dish! The cesar salad was good, however, and it is a well run place. The prices are nice. The entertainers are exceptional. And the night I was there, the whole clientele was definitely of the same ilk – older, affluent, friendly.

So happy to try this place after driving by for so many years. We had a great meal and the service is old school fabulous. The portions are enormous. We ended up eating only the chicken parm that we had ordered and took home the incredible pizza for the next night. They even brought us complimentary biscotti and an after dinner drink. Prices are really affordable for such an elegant dining experience. The place was packed the night we ate there, but they managed to seat us immediately and take great care of us. It so reminds me of the way that Palm Springs used to be — customers with manners who were dressed well and experienced servers who know how to treat their customers. They even had a little music duo singing some classics. Heaven.

Been trying to remember to get here since we moved to the valley and we finally made it. Nice ambience with soft live music. Husband’s spaghetti & meatballs was only a 3 star; caesar salad was a 4 star; beef & peppers about a 3.5. Hess wine was reasonably priced at $ 9. There was no Alfredo on the menu which was a disappointment. Service was very good and we’ll be back to try something else. Our desert was to have been a cannoli but waitress accidentally brought tiramisu so we ate that, but would not recommend. Many patrons were welcomed by name from the staff and it was obvious that they have visited many times. That’s a good recommendation in itself.

Trilussa is located on Palm Canyon Road great Italian food served in a very hip Italian atmosphere. They do have a very good happy hour which starts at 4 and runs until 6. You must eat only in the bar area to take advantage of the happy hour. Some of the items on their happy hour to include lasagna, pasta bolognese, and a variety of other specialties. I have found that there lasagna cooked perfectly and it rates in my top ten list for lasagnas. They also have entertainment in the bar area who do a very nice job of covering other popular songs. We have been to Trilussa many many times and have never been let down. Sometimes the owner seems a little crabby but all of the wait staff and help make up for the owner’s bad attitude. We always have a good time at Trilussa. They do have a brick oven which cooks at about 1000 degrees so their pizza comes with a very nice crispy crust and they have many different varieties. If you’re in the valley give Trilussa a try you won’t be disappointed. Oh and BTW try the boomba for desert it is really amazing.

We enjoyed it very much. careful if you have a wheelchair or walker guest with you. There is access but it is a bit difficult down a long slope. Service was very good. We enjoyed all the food. Nice prices at the bar area during happy Hour.

We were on a mini vacation in Palm Dessert with 4 adults and 3 small children. Came across this place on Unilocal and decided to give it a try. It was nice but not too fancy, and prices were middle of the road. Food we ordered: Chicken carbonara with gluten-free penne was very rich and delicious. I was pleasantly surprised that the gluten-free pasta tasted just like regular pasta. The lasagna was said to be «REALYGOOD» by a picky eater. The chicken Marsala was great and so moist. We will definitely return on our next visit to Palm Springs. The only reason I didn’t give this restaurant 5 stars was because it took more than a reasonable amount of time to get our food. If they are more time efficient next time I visit, I will edit to 5 stars. P. S. My friend thought I should take away another star because the waitress was a little TOO«friendly» with her husband. But since that didn’t happen with MY husband, I’m still giving it 4 stars lol

Wow! My dinner was so delicious! I had their Spaghetti Carbonara, although you can select your pasta. Also you can add shrimp, sausage or meatball. I added two very generously sized shrimp to mine. My server was Antonio, and he was outstanding. Their Italian Margarita was one of the absolute best I have ever tasted. Its a very classy place and elegantly decorated, yet very comfortable. They also have a few booths, which I always like. Just a word to the wise… if you make a res on Open Table, don’t follow their directions or you will end up at a car lot! Use Unilocal directions… Unilocal directions rock!!!

From the moment we were greeted at the front door to the moment we left this cozy delightful restaurant everything was perfect. We popped in to grab a quick bite before going to the theater across the way. We decided to sit at a bar table since we only had an hour. Perfect, friendly service! We told him we were tight on time, and the food came so quickly. And was DELICIOUS!!! Homemade Gnocchi with a 4 cheese sauce! YUM!!! I would totally go back to enjoy the food, the top notch service, awesome live music, all wrapped up in a cozy dining room. This place is perfection!

WOW. I have written reviews on Italian restaurants before living in both Cali &NY. I have to say Trilussa Ristorante has raised the bar. I CANNOTBELIEVEHOWTERRIFICTHEFOODWAS. NOREALLY. My server was Elizabeth and she was so sweet and just super. I had a few questions with my order and she truly was helpful in answering them and was smiling the entire time. It said«no substitutions» on the 3COURSE menu but I wanted one simple change… Elizabeth got it done. She’s AWESOME! I wanted to get the chicken Marsala but instead of the mash potatoes and asparagus, I wanted pasta same sauce(that’s the way they always offer it in all those fantastic restaurants in little Italy, NY) I ordered the 3 course special First I got the Calamari appetizer (the sauce they serve with the calamari to dip is perfectly spiced with heat & I am going to ask if I can get that sauce on linguini it was that good!) I actually waited for the table next to me to look away and when they did, I finished it by drinking it! THATISFOODPORNMY UnilocalFRIENDS! As for the main course chicken Marsala, it was better than mine! (GIVEME A MOMENT, I’M SWALLOWINGMYPRIDEBYADMITTINGTHAT) I pride myself in my chicken Marsala and this place took mine off the map even my spouse said the«opps you got some serious competition» CORRECT The desert was a great canoli and filled with fresh homemade crème, NOTBADATALL. So fresh bread and Oil Calamari(FRESH& not rubbery ATALL) and spicy marinara dipping sauce Chicken Marsala(cooked with the precision of a culinary surgeon) Canoli for dessert.(well done and super creamy) & Elisabeth our server who kept stopping by with a smile ALLFOREARLYBIRD $ 16.99 they even came by the table and offered a free after dinner cognac!
