I am with a large group visiting this area and we called Nicolinos in hopes of them being able to cater for us. Not only were they willing and able to accommodate us they went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Sometimes with a large group things don’t always go as planned and they were able to help get the food to us and make sure we had everything we needed. We come here every year and I will definitely be using Nicolinos every time we visit Cathedral City! Nick and Mark were very helpful in this process and the food was beautiful and delicious, especially with our group of picky eaters. I highly recommend going to try some of their delicious food!

Saw the 3.5 stars and was hesitant to try(since DiCarlos closed down since the last time we were in Palm Springs). Decided to check it out with some friends on a Friday night — we had a party of nine. There was live music which was nice and thought it would be too loud but the area in the back where most of the tables are wasn’t too noisy. Service was nice but kind of slow. I understand it was a Friday night but it took 30 minutes to get our drink order in and finally take our food order. Had to ask twice for the free bread and kids were getting antsy. My friend ordered the crab cakes and they looked overly breaded and tasted so-so. Her salad never made it with the main course. Our fried zucchini made it with our main entrée and was served with marinara sauce and was also a little too breaded for me(tasted ok). Wife ordered the Chicken Piccata and it was pretty good(little bland to my liking but not bad). It came with veggies and side spaghetti, which was good. Overall, not a bad place to eat but probably wouldn’t come back.

Great place! Service was super friendly, ambiance was comfortable and family friendly, and the décor had an old world feel. The live music added a special element and I will definitely be back! :)

What a hidden gem! Met friends at this wonderful Italian restaurant and we were very pleasantly surprised. I had the chicken saltambocca and my girlfriend had the chicken Marsala. Both were excellent and well priced at $ 17. Great Caesar salad with it. My only gripe was the $ 20 corkage fee which I thought was excessive.

Big sign in the restroom says employees mush wash hands… but there was no soap. Avoid.

Moved to the area from San Francisco. My wife and I wanted to find a good Italian restaurant and we did. Food was good and so was the service. That’s all we asked for. If you go you won’t be disappointed.

Worst dining experience since I moved to the area — the food was greasy and over cooked, and when I received the check, they had overcharged me from what the menu prices were, The owner was beyond rude and disrespectful. They obviously don’t care about repeat business. The service was friendly; way way better than the food. There are so many other wonderful choices in the Palm Springs area; pick somewhere else where the prices are worth it and the owners don’t rip you off!

Got this deal at groupon for $ 27you get $ 60 food credit, Ate dinner on a friday night… Ambiance was a little confusing because you have to go through the bar w/live music where people were dancing and drinking. Food was good not great though… we got the antipasti salad, chicken marsala and the seafood combination pasta(dont rememeberthe exact name), dessert was spumoni icecream which we shared. Service was good as well, since they where not that busy.

I love Italian food and I have never met a pasta I don’t like until this place. The pasta was tough and had a weird texture and the meat sauce wasn’t anything special. My husband tried a pizza and it was ok but he will eat anything. The service was a little slow the hostess was a little unfriendly unfortunately I had high expectations and was disappointed. We will not be back.

A friend and I are visiting Palm Springs and had a groupon. I was turned off by the plastic table cloths and silverware wrapped in paper napkins. Both of us ordered the small Caesar salad and asked for anchovies. They were generous as each salad had 4 too many! My Chicken Piccata was just ok. The ho hum vegetable medley was surprisingly ok as the broccoli wasn’t overcooked. I did not like the pasta sauce used on the side dish of spaghetti. It had a weird flavor. Ragu sauce bought in a supermarket is way better. My friend ordered the Sole and he liked it.

Strip mall Italian restaurant that has been here for years. The Good: Huge portions, Pretty good sandwiches, and lots of parking. The Bad: Exceptionally slow service. It took one hour and 15 minutes for lunch to arrive after ordering. Who has that much time for lunch? The Minestrone was salty and doctored up from what appears to be from a can. My Caesars salad was just ok. Boxed croutons. My other half had a «Contractors sandwich» that he liked very much. I’ve learned from visiting Italy that great italian fare can be easily obtained, and reasonably. Why is it so difficult here?

Cute little family owned spot. Had gluten free spaghetti bolognese and some pizza. Both were good. Waiters were all friendly. I think our guys name was Gustavo and he was real patient with our rambunctious kids.

Good service. Prompt and attentive. We had dinner in the dining room– started with fried calamari. It was good, not greasy and served with two sauces. My husband had the salmon special served with pasta. Good portion and prepared well. Salads were fresh, good italian dressing. I had the veal piccata and although good, it had entirely too much garlic! The bar looked like fun, live singer and good crowd. Why the 4 stars??? It badly needs a remodel. Dated but not classic.

My husband who is a disabled combat veteran and I came in for a nice meal here because he is a student at mayfield college and when we requested the student menu they stated that it is for take out only. How can that be when we have been there before and ordered off that menu and had it there. Nowhere on the student menu says for take out only, That is crazy. When we looked at the regular menu the soft drinks were 3.75 each that’s 7.50 for two drinks that’s way overpriced for how big the glasses are(maybe 12oz) and so was everything else on the menu. It is very dark inside and when we were greeted by the grandson he wasn’t very friendly we couldn’t believe it. His repor made us not want to stay. Very unsatisfactory. We do not recommend this restaurant for any of the students at mayfield college or their friends and family because of how we were treated by him.

Picked up a pizza for the kids and I wasn’t disappointed. The restaurant is family owned and the atompohere is quaint. Nothing too fancy and just right for families.

Loved this place. It was a crowded night, but they found me a table. My wait was less than two minutes. I ate every morsel of everything that was ordered. The pizza was fantastic and so was the garlic cheese bread. I highly recommend this place. Also, not super expensive.

I started off this review bashing the crap out of this place. Let it suffice that I won’t be coming back here again. The wait was terrible. The water was bad. There was an error on the menu. The saving graces were the portions that were enjoyable. And that afforded the establishment a 2 over a 1. This place was strictly hype. We tried to explain to various employees our dissatisfaction, but they seemed unaccommodating. It’s not our responsibility to seek compensation or whatnot. UPDATE; could’ve been the spicy marinara I don’t think so cuz I pound spicy. But after I walked back to the hotel I barfed after entering my room.

First time and I loved it. The service was great, the endless fresh baked bread was done to perfection. The salad was fresh and the dressing on point. The pizza– we got the margarita and it was amazing. The pizza is filled with tomatoes that are marinated in garlic and Brazil. We did not try any pastas as we have high expectation when it comes to pasta and did not want to chance it.
