We moved to Carson City about 2 years ago and sort of stumbled into this place. The staff is friendly and the donuts are delicious. Gotta get there early if you want the glazed donuts. Highly recommend this little donut shop. I Agee with other reviewers, the parking lot is tiny so parking around the corner can be easier.

These are simply the best doughnuts we have had in over ten years(since moving from the SF Bay Area to Portland). Who knew we needed to take a trip to Carson City to get some really good doughnuts again.

I haven’t had a raised donut that good and fresh since I was a kid. I’d forgotten how good they can taste. Just don’t bring home more than you want to eat at a sitting, because you’re going to eat them all, pronto. Neat place, friendly staff.

I’ve been spending some time here in Carson City, and sometimes in the mornings on the weekend I just have a hankerin’ for some donuts. I’m not talkin’ grocery store donuts, but real donuts made at a real donut shop. I miss my Colonial Donuts in Oakland, right in my neighborhood. So, when I discovered this little donut shop in Carson City, I was excited to give them a try some morning. Donuts are not something I wanna, OK well, don’t, eat everyday, so this is a treat. Donuts To Go is located right on the main street with a tiny parking area. You might just be better going around the corner and parking on the street. The inside seems all homy with regulars sipping coffee and commiserating on the«old days». The offerings are all the normal stuff. My fave is the glazed old fashioned or the French ones that look like a tractor tire. Prices are standard donut shop prices. The taste, though, so nice and well balanced with the sweet and the richness of the frying. Go early to get them fresh … your co workers or other half will be grateful for it! Bagels? Who needs a bagel when you can have a cream filled donut?

Just went walking with my daughter and found this donut shop. It was around 11:30 am when we got there. The shop is open til 2 pm and opens at 4 am. There werent many donuts left but for me thats not a bad thing. To me it means they must be good to have so little left. We picked our donuts and I got a coffee as well. The girl helping us was very nice and even threw in some free donut holes. We decided to stay and eat there. The cake donuts we had were delicious. The shop is small but has a nice amount of seating. You can even see where they prepare the donuts, so im sure if you get there early it would be fun to watch. The coffee I got, which was a medium roast, was very good. I dont know if you get free refills as the one cup I got was enough for me. They had the powdered creamer but the girl working did offer half and half if I wanted it. Many people came while we were there and the girl seemed to know them all. We will definetly be back again. Oh the prices werent to bad either.

As a self proclaimed donut enthusiast you can imagine my surprise to find such a highly rated shop in Carson City of all places… At 4:15am the incredibly small parking lot had no lighted sign but an open door to the shop with a pile of fresh donuts only inches from the door beckoned me. They had donuts everywhere, yet hadn’t gotten to the fritters yet . Opted for a couple filled and a croissant… Might I add while the filled donuts were out of this world fresh and delicious… that croissant was awe inspiring. Light, melt in your mouth buttery greatness. I’ll be back tomorrow before leaving town… my low carb diet can resume in a couple days…

Wow! Awesome donuts! They have maple bars with bacon, the lady asked if we wanted it with custard… um Yes, please! We also had their blueberry fritter bites! And… they’re regular fritters. Very good customer service, and donuts are fresh, pillowy, and delicious.

Simply the best doughnuts in Carson city. The apple fritters and chocolate doughnuts are great. Run by nice people but there is a language barrier, Just be patient and you can get through your transaction fine. The doughnuts are simply more moist and better then the new Dun-kin doughnuts in Carson city. I highly recommend this place.

Standard but pretty good donut shop. The raised glazed and cake were pretty good. After tax it’s about 1.00 for a single donut or 10.00 for a dozen. 1.90 for a bear claw, fritter or cinnamon roll.

First time I tried this donuts shop and I’m pretty happy with the donuts. Bought the croissants too, taste so good and very buttery. The taste of the donuts are good /still moist after sitting out of couple of hours, and the frosting aren’t too sweet. But too bad they don’t have lots of variety topping such as chocolate with fresh strawberry and cronutz(croissant donut). Hope in the future they will try making cronutz. Price is not that expensive.
