Moe’s is not Chipolte’. Staff has always been friendly but assembly has been spotty, ingredient quantity has been light at times, and dang, I’ve waited way too long to cash out on more than one occasion. Wish they would open ½ hr or 15 minutes earlier though ! If I need my burrito fix, it serves it’s purpose. Always clean and stocked drink area.

Moe’s is pretty much like home to me. I have been to all the Moe’s in SW Florida and all the branches have always been friendly and even remember me. Food is always fresh and whatever that vinaigrette they use to cook all the meats and sautéed veggies… I want that recipe!!! It is normally a dressing for the salads and is acidic but makes even the tofu have this deliciously sweet taste. When you get there before lunch or dinner or the right time you can even have hot queso and warm chips. I mean both are usually served warm anyway. The queso is like no other. I think it is queso blanco with a hint of jalapeño, but it taste much better than the ones you get from Chipotle or Iguana Mia. You get to customize your order and choose from a variety of veggies that is included with your meal. I think the only extra item you pay for is the guacamole, but they are even generous about it if you ask them to add it directly on top of your meal. I like extra2 cilantro and yes they are very nice about it! I do miss their chicken enchilada soup or chili they used to serve seasonally. What else can I say but I don’t know how my family can survive without Moe’s! Haha!

I was motivated to write by visiting one of their competitors and it reminded me how good Moe’s is. It’s not a gourmet experience, but it is delightful, fast Mexican at a decent price. Their white queso is terrific(I get the really large container!), and the chips are usually hot, and always fresh. Their steak is flavorful and tender, and the veggies are fresh. The service is generally good, occasionally slow(especially if you go at off times), but never bad. They are generous on chips, salsa and offer free refills. A bit pricey for what is basically cheap Mexican food, but they make up for it by being consistently good.

Super reasonable quick meal to pick up when in a hurry. Never had a bad experience here but today they were certainly off their game. The burritos were wrapped incorrectly and they sugared the chips instead of salting them… Kinda rough to eat with the dip.

We finally made it to Moe’s. We once saw it featured on Undercover Boss so we thought we’d finally check it out. We were very disappointed. My wife had an Overachiever Hard Taco and the hamburger was warm and combined with the other cold ingredients such as beans and cheese made the ground beef colder. Who wants to eat a cold taco? She had them do it over but it didn’t help. I had a Homewrecker Steak(or Pork) Burrito for $ 7.69 but the cashier took it on her own to make it into a ‘combo’ and the price came to $ 9.88 plus .50 cents for Steak and .49 cents for added Bacon. Now, even if you add $ 1.99 for a fountain drink how did they charge me that much? The pricing was confusing and the cashier couldn’t really explain the additional costs and kept saying she made it a ‘combo’ to save me money. Why was there a 50 cent charge for Steak on a Steak Burrito? And, they advertise ’20 Free Items’ so why did bacon cost me 49 cents? Oh, later, I found out that I could have had a Whole Wheat burrito but the tall guy behind the counter making the 1st stage of the burrito never asked me if I wanted whole wheat. Before leaving I noticed that their trash cans have small openings so that baskets can’t be accidentally thrown away. This makes for a mess with food stink around the top of the trash can. Moe’s is one of my favorite casual dining places. The price is fair for the amount of food you receive. I particularly enjoy this Cape Coral location, because it has the snazzy Coca-Cola fountain that you can customize.

No, it’s not authentic at all. that’s why it’s a «Southwest Grill,» but I think it’s still pretty delicious. This location is pretty good as far as they go. the line moves pretty slow, but they do actually take the time to make your food how you want it. People were friendly and the chips were fresh. no complaints from me!

You can probably read a thousand reviews of various Moe’s here on Unilocal and get an idea of what the chain is about. Moe’s is not authentic Mexican. It’s a «fast casual» restaurant, patterned after«Willie’s» in Atlanta. It’s not great in my book, but it’s not all bad. I usually get a bowl instead of a burrito and use a large portion of their green tomatillo salsa and a small amount of their hot sauce on top. If you didn’t, it would be really bland. I tend to ask for the mushrooms and other extras to punch-up the flavor as well. Someone here calls it overpriced. You can expect to spend a little over $ 10 per person for dinner with a drink. The portions tend to be too big for my tastes. You could easily order one burrito and split it for two people. I’ve not had a bad experience at this location. Everyone has always been friendly. You won’t have a great meal here, but I doubt it will be bad.

The only review here is nuts. This is a great Mexican restaurant. The food is great and close to shopping.

Well the search for a decent Burrito continues. You will not find it here.. They have all the ingredients for one BUT not how to do it. The good… stuff first. Clean place, good location, fresh ingredients, nice and fast employees The bad… overpriced, no refried beans(What mexican or southwest eatery DOESNOT offer refried beans or warm tortilla?), steak was not grill just fried. Salsa 3 types, nasty no flavor of even hint of heat.(barely passable Tamatillo salsa.) The tortilla were too small, worker did not know how to wrap same. THEYOFFEREDLETTUCETOFUANDMUSHROOM. Which begs the question what fracken IDIOTS put tofu or mushroom in a burrito!!!
Well if you never had a REAL Burrito. I guess you should go. But if you have had THEREALDEAL… STAYAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWAY. It would be a waste of your taste buds and pocket book. I regret I have not found a good burrito or a copy of one. SEARCHCONTINUES!!!
