This place is so much better than Iguanas down the street. Please go here and check it out. The drinks and food are better but was most important is the reception that we received immediately during rush hour. Our hostess Indira was a pleasure to have met and hope hope we run into her again. Everyone us actually from Cuba so we were told. Edwardo was our server. He never skipped a beat. I hope we go there again in one year. I had the Super taco salad along with a couple of empanadas. Yum and The margaritas were not weak. Have a good year guys until we meet again!

This place was wonderful! Im not sure why all the mixed reviews. They are very laid back and take their time with courses, but everything was hot and delicious. The ambiance is awesome! We sat outside and loved the water view. Scarlet was our server, and she was delightful and did a great job. Loved the guacamole she made us at the table. The only problem I had was deciding what to eat since everything on the menu looked amazing. I decided on a burrito, which was delicious! They won an award for best of Cape Coral recently, which is why we decided to try it. We were not disappointed! Come, relax, and have a giant, wonderful margarita!

The girlfriend and I just moved here. Was running around getting some things for the house and stopped by for a Margarita and an appetizer. The frozen margs were amazing for $ 8. Must have had 4 shots of tequila, very boozy. Tortilla chips served warm with lots of spicy salsa. Ordered the guacamole, which is made table side, and it was delicious, albeit horrendously small portion for a $ 9 appetizer. It was probably two tablespoons in a large bowl. Service was great, don’t know if we will go back, since it seems a little overpriced. Also, they don’t have chicken tortilla soup, which is a travesty for a Mexican restaurant.

We just stopped for drinks and appetizers but everything was great. We had the nachos and the bean dip with their ultimate margaritas. The tortilla chips tasted fresh from the fryer. The salsa was excellent as well as the bean dip and margaritas. Everything was fresh and tasty. The service was sufficiently attentive. We will be back if ever in the area.

I had dinner there and had the Super Taco Salad. We were served chips and salsa before dinner which were excellent. The Taco Salad was very good and there was an ample amount of meat. Will return soon.

We weren’t sure because we saw a mix of reviews but Everything was great Our margaritas were big and so good. Chips were fresh and salsa was really good. we had a steak fajita salad which was great .and a fajita combo that came in a half of a pineapple. it was so good. The pineapple and meats were all grilled and there was alot of it to go around. The server was sweet and attentive and so we actually can’t wait to go back.

Very mediocre food, ok service and so-so cocktails. This was our least favorite meal during our recent visit to Cape Coral.

Just about the best Mexican food I have ever eaten. Incredible prices, friendly staff, authentic atmosphere. They serve you enough to feed two people, so come prepared to take some home. Last time I had the chimichanga with chicken — DELICIOUS! Highly recommended.

Great Mexican place with outstanding food & service! Loved the Jalisco margarita made with Don Julio tequila and a nice clean mixer instead of the normal heavy sweet and sour. My wife and I had the fish tacos & ceviche… Both were well above average! Our food was served in a timely manner for a busy Friday night & the complementary Chips & Salsa were much appreciated during our wait for the entrees.

Been searching for a decent Mexican restaurant in Cape Coral and had heard this place was pretty good. However, after our visit, we are still continuing our search for a good Mexican restaurant here! The restaurant itself could be cleaner and the staff more attentive and professional. We were sat promptly but without silverware, which happens to be a pet peeve of mine. We also had to ask our server to bring our complimentary chips and salsa as the busser, who is normally responsible for doing so was nowhere to be found. Once the chips and salsa arrived, we were quite disappointed with the less than flavorful salsa. Upon being greeted by our server, who happened to be quite pleasant, I ordered a Pacifico with a lime. She let me know that she needed to check the stock but was«pretty sure they still had some». We also asked for an order of table side guacamole and were told they were out of some of the ingredients for that. Imagine our surprise when we left the restaurant after our mediocre meal to see that other tables had been served table side guacamole! When the server returned with our drinks, I found out that they were, in fact, out of Pacifico. I was given a different beer as a substitute but was not given the lime I requested with my beer. The menu also leaves a lot to be desired. There aren’t the usual«combination dinners» found at most restaurants. I did find a platter that had some variety and the items were ok but nothing special. One of my dining companions ordered a simple taco salad that ended up being soggy. All-in-all, this dining experience was less than satisfying and we are still on our quest to find good Mexican food in the city of Cape Coral!

The service was great when I went, while I don’t remember the waitress’ name she was amazing. The food overall was a bit lacking, the chips and dip they bring you out first are great(and free!). We got the guacamole, it was really cool that they make it at the table for you. It really needed salt tho, as with all the food we got. The food came out extremely fast but was really lacking in the spice/salt department, it all tasted a lil bland. I’d probably go again just to try something else, I really did enjoy the salsa they gave you.

Really good chips and salsa. Large plates of food. Great décor, all hand carved from Mexico. Not the best service on busy weekends. its just too popular, also is a tight squeeze for space, and very loud. But still, awesome for a tasty lunch, but go easy on the chips. very filling. Or, just get a drink and eat chips. Cool spot, wish the Cape had more… so sad.

Have to say, we enjoyed this Mexican/Tex-Mex dinner! Place sits right in the canal, décor is great, including the tall hand carved chairs and tiling throughout. Started with guac prepared table side, fresh! Margaritas were nice, Coors on tap. I had the flautas with slow cooked beef! All good!

The food was less than OK and the service was terrible. The only nice thing I can say is they have a «pretty» sign out front to pull you in — but it did nothing to enhance the quality of the meal!

I’m from New York! This is my first time eating here and I loved it! The service was quick, the waiters were super friendly which is always a plus! The scenery was beautiful right next to the water if you choose to sit outside. But if you choose to sit inside, don’t worry, the restaurant is beautifully decorated. The food was delicious and was fairly proportioned. I would certainly recommend this restaurant to a friend !

I should have read the reviews of this place before I spent my money and spared my taste buds of low quality Mexican food. I ordered the burrito. Meat was flavorless and the quaso cheese that was poured on top looked and tasted brunt. Our server was very nice but blindly up charged me on my margarita. She failed to tell me there is a $ 2 up-charge on flavored margaritas. Had I know that, I would have never purchased the peach margarita she pushed on me. I hate when servers do that! On a positive note, the restaurant is in a great location. On the water and easily accessible from the main road. Will I return? Probably not. There are other gems in Cape Coral I want to try before I give this place a second chance.
