Birthday cake ice cream is so yummy! You have to try it. Can’t believe I didn’t finish this review sooner. I will be going back to visit this place soon so can’t wait to go here again in 2016

Best Large MOCHALATTETRIPLEESPRESSO ever! Nice young counter lady took me very seriously when I said I like my coffee SWEET.(Why is this so hard to understand? I’m just in it for the chocolate and the caffeine, yo. And science is on my side. Pretty sure I can find the studies to prove it. LOL.) Also one very amazing frozen chocolate covered banana on a stick by a small company called Doc Bernstein’s WOOHOO!

Cute little shop that I had to stoop at to get some coffee and a veggie sandwich. The sandwich was delicious as was the coffee. They allow dogs inside the little store and have a couple tables outside that you can hang out and eat your food at. There is also a water bowl and a container of dog cookies for your canine friends. How cool is that? The staff was very friendly and I am glad I got to stop in. The only con was parking. But it was a holiday weekend so I am sure that was the reason.

True story — stayed down by the beach in Cambria on out way to LA. Took 3 of our 4 kids to town for ice cream while my wife put the 6 year old to bed. We pulled up and they had just closed. Owner happened to be standing outside and heard their disappointment. Without a seconds hesitation he re-open for us. When — much to my embarrassment — I realized I had forgotten my wallet told me not to worry about it, it would be on him(fortunately one of the kids happened to have my credit card with them from earlier in the day). Owner and guy behind the counter could not have been nicer. Great end of the day after a long drive from Monterey. (and the ice cream rocked by the way…)

This place is awesome. I go here for a chai latte several days a week. Theirs is by far the best I have tried in Cambria. If you use your debit card they give u 1 $ off for every ten you spend. They also have great baked goods and doc burnstiens ice cream. And ice cream cakes if u have a party coming up. The walls are decorated w local art u can buy… Nice touch.

We’ve always walked past this shop when in Cambria but never really stopped to get anything from them. Maybe because we always start our Main Street stroll on the West side before hitting this side of Main Street and we’ve already gotten our coffee fix elsewhere. Place is clean and staff are friendly and efficient. I’m a big fan of Chai Tea and Chai Latte… and they make a really good one! I’ve also tried a few of their smoothies and been happy with what I’ve got. My first time ordering a smoothy drink though I saw you can add boba for $ 1 so I ordered one with boba! Getting excited to try their smoothy for the first time I was bummed when they tell me later that I can’t get it with boba and she forgot to tell me they only have boba available certain days of the week. So why is it not anywhere on the menu or their signs that boba is only available on certain days? I forgot what days she said they have them. If you ran out for the day, just tell me you just ran out… I don’t think it’s right to have it on the menu and not have it available all the time… or at least write somewhere it’s only available on certain days. It was a disappointment but will try again next time. They still make great drinks! As for the ice cream, they are good! Our kids always get ice cream when we stop for a drink so I get to try what they order. Not a whole lot of selection of flavors available but still good. And I love how they have pretty clever names for the flavors!

This place wasn’t bad at all. The coffee had a good flavor. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Happy they had outdoor seating with even a water bowl for our dog.

Just had the very best ice cream I have ever eaten at Mojo’s Village Bean. Sea Salt flavored. I’m not sure what is in it but it was amazing.

Coffee just the way I love it! Hot latte with almond milk was just what I was longing for, and I found it here. Friendly staff who were genuinely happy to serve up my brew. A great assortment of pastries and ice cream. Next time it’ll be ice cream for me!

Grabbed some ice cream with kids. Very good ice cream from Doc Burnstein’s. I had the mint chip with Oreo cookies and the coconut sorbet. Kids had the birthday cake ice cream. Mint chip was great, coconut, I had better. Didn’t care for the kid’s birthday cake flavored ice cream. Wish there was more flavors. Would come here again.

My in laws have a place up so. we are here every couple of months and usually suffer with good food choices. Until recently we had our coffee from the french place down the street when we decided to take a chance! So glad we did, great cappuccino’s, helpful staff, and really good breakfast sandwiches all in one place! My son spilled my husband’s coffee and thet saw it and made us another one asap, nice touch!!! Excited for quality coffee and breakfast in Camrbia!

Under the new ownership the coffee here is pretty damn good, have not found a drink we didn’t like yet. The owners are also very nice. Of course they also have Doc Burnsteins ice cream which is ridiculously good AND lactose free or tolerant whichever. I think it’s organic or something, bottom line it’s really good. They also stay open later then most places, so if you need that late afternoon or early evening pick up this is the place.

Visiting Cambria for a wedding. Stopped in for some ice cream. Friendly and helpful staff. They’ll let you sample as many flavors as you’d like. I got pistachio.

okay… like everyone else has said the Chai rocks it here. I went to mojo because the«other» coffee shop totally left a bad taste in my mouth the last few times I was in town, so decided to try something else in a different part of town. Friendly service, good coffee and Chai. Not very big and did not have a big selection of pastries and food, if thats the sort of thing you were into. Ill come back just for the Dirty Chai. Thanks guys! Steve

Stopped here momentarily after feeling famished on a Highway 1 roadtrip. It was early morning, and Mojo’s had just opened. I’m only basing this review on the toasted everything bagel with cream cheese that I ordered. It was most definitely large, toasty, and ‘everything’ I was wanting(ha). The reason why I’m giving this 4 stars is that it took almost 15 minutes to receive my bagel; I’m not sure why it would take so long, as we were the only ones in line/waiting for food. Additionally, Mojo’s is very small and doesn’t have a bathroom, which I find odd for a coffee shop(i.e. a place that specializes in feeding you a diuretic). **Roadtrip tip, though! Cambria has a really nice public bathroom just along the road by the gas station. Maybe it had just been cleaned because it was still early morning, but it was one of the cleanest public restrooms I have ever been to.

My husband and I have been on an ice cream adventure lately. We found this café on our way to Hearst castle and decided to stop by this town for lunch before touring the castle. We wanted to try motor oil flavor that we heard so much about. We tried it but it wasn’t something that we wanted more of. My husband ordered the Java chip and I ordered a double mini scoop of deer tracks(chocolate ribbon with mini peanut butter cups) and salted caramel in a waffle cone. The ice cream was so yummy and creamy. The staff was very kind and the café was cute.

I’m a local(used to live in SoCal), coffee snob, that used to be a barista, and this is by far my favorite coffee shop. I love it for the coffee, the ice cream and the people. It has the most robust, yet smooth organic coffee– Village Fog. I am prone to heartburn and this one doesn’t bug. The ice cream is bomb. It’s homemade style, made in small batches by a local company– Doc’s Ice Cream. If you can, order a double of Cookie Crazie and Motor Oil. You’ll thank me. The people there make it top notch. They all truly care about the customers– from the owners to the crew. I told them that I wished that they had Cookie Crazie in the big tubs, so they ordered it, and I got it that week. They’re just good people. I am there daily and I’ve never seen them any other way. As a side note, it’s my girlfriend’s favorite too. She loves their Vanilla Lattes.

Ice cream: 3 stars We had the Merlot, Sea Salt Caramel, and Motor Oil. They were pretty good but I’ve had better ice cream, not worth $ 3.85 a scoop Chai Latte: 4 stars Very creamy, silky, and flavorful, one of the better Chai Lattes I’ve tasted

Ice cream, boba and coffee in one place? I know you’re saying, «Get outta here!» But it’s true! And according to my father-in-law, the ice cream is pretty darn good. It’s from a local creamery called Doc Burnstein’s. I didn’t get to have it myself, but next time we visit Cambria, I will make it a point! This place is a local favorite. People who come here are very friendly. I’m sure they know we are out of owners, but that does not make them stingy with their hellos! The baristas are very nice too. They greet you when you arrive and say bye when you leave. I wish all cafes were like this! We came here twice. First time, we had lunch. I had the Pastrami Sandwich on marbled rye and my husband had the salami sandwich. Both were good. Both sandwiches had generous slices of meat. I also had a Taro Frappé with Boba. It was pretty good. It was just under the«too sweet» stage. The second time we came here, we just had coffee. I had the Dirty Chai. It was a little too sweet for me. If you are sensitive to sweetness, ask them to adjust the sweetness. My husband just had the drip. Not bad but not great either. Next time we visit the father in law, we will definitely return here. I’ll have to try the ice cream!
