Keenan’s Cambria Village Pharmacy

Went past Keenan’s on Feb. 15 and was heartbroken to see the shop was totally gutted and empty. No more sundries, no more awesome service, and no more amazing rubber ducks! Hopefully they are only switching locations. Please come back soon!

Mary is a really good pharmacist. She knows what she’s doing and she cares. She’s fast, helpful, good at answering questions. 5 Stars.

If you ever need to enhance your supply of rubber duckies, this is the place to go!
Forget about needing to refill your prescriptions or needing more hemorrhoid cream. About one third of this tiny store is devoted to little duckies of many caricatures. Yes, they have everything from Osama Bin Laden duckies to fireman duckies, to bride and groom duckies. Hmmm… wedding cake toppers?
We wasted more time laughing here than we spent in the art galleries and coffee bistros.
And yes, we now have some new duckies for our tub.

This place will dent your brain, I have not seen this many rubber ducks since my glue-​huffing days. joke.
I didn’t actually purchase anything but, I’m glad to have finally found a business that stocks the following products under one roof, any one of which or combination of, solved many of the dire situations that life has thrown at me:
#1 Urgently needed condoms
#2 The brutal captors demanded an ‘Angry Mob Playset’. (see pic)
#3 Humidifier/​Alarm Clock combo
#4 Children’s TYLENOL
#5 An alibi — «Officer, how could I be trafficking human organs, I was in Keenan’s all day checking out Celebriducks, look, they even have a Mr. T. Duck» (again, see pic)
#6 Floss
On so many occasions I could have used a Keenan’s in my younger life (and quite possibly this weekend) but, it’s located oh so far away… Keenan, my true North, or in Español, «Mi norte verdad», please open an additional location in Diego. Please, you’re our only hope.

Yes, make sure you stop here for your obligatory rubber ducky souvenir. They make great dashboard traveling companions. :)

This place is not just a Pharmacy. Its the central for Rubber Ducky’s.They have at least 50 different types of rubber ducky’s for sale. And they are super nice. My mom and I bought $ 60 worth of rubber ducky stuff so they gave us one free. They have a duck for everything — breast cancer, pirates, Irish, angels, devil ducks you name it. It’s a fun touch for a pharmacy.
