Love the vibe in this place. The energy of the bartender really helped set the mood.

I’m a big fan of places that make nice cocktails and this place came well recommended from a good friend! The inside was pretty nice, but this was a nice 76 degree day in NYC so we decided to grab a seat in the outside seating area of course. We did some good people watching while sitting there… we even saw comedian Craig Robinson ride by as we sipped. Our server was a cool chick that had some interesting piercings. She was good at letting us know which cocktails were the most popular. The Ninety Nine Roses was the first drink I went with as it included gin, lemon, ginger, rose water & orchard pear… pretty damn refreshing! I then decided to go with the La Samantha as I saw my buddy enjoying it. The La Samantha includes gin, blood orange liqueur vermouth, orange bitters, absinthe rinse and maraschino… very good as well! I wish we would have stayed longer but we worked up an appetite and had sushi on the brain.

Usually I’m not too sure about the place, but I can make an exception this time. Five stars for the place across the street. Not for the Hotel Delmano though: Unfriendly anti-service in a nice interior and romantic tables on the sidewalk. Unfortunately there is always one chair missing. The food is the definition of sadness, a lack of ambition a huge understatement: Go for steak tartar if the deli is closed and you are really starving for potato chips. It also comes with three flawless pickles that make the Delmano worth a star on their own. Never mind the steak tartar. The ceviche is tasteless and comes with salt crackers(also tasteless). And then there are the sardines fresh from the tin. The already known salt crackers build the essence of the house’s cuisine and make this dish the highlight of the Delmano’s classic section. When you visit, keep in mind the old saying: never trust a man with a bandana around his head.

A great pre gentrified Williamsburg hold out, where the locals come for great food and drinks at reasonable prices. Really good cocktail creations, oysters, and the anchovy toast is a must!

The only reason to cross the bridge! Excellent staff, amazing beverages, and the music tonight was outta this world! No kooks, busters or creeps. Strictly family vibes. Love it. Doesn’t hurt that the waitstaff are gorgeous and impeccably dressed without any posturing or pretense.

Although I continue to return here, this place is starting to annoy me. The drinks are great and the atmosphere is wonderful but the food is ridiculously overpriced. The cheese and meet board has three cubes of cheese on it! It’s laughable. And the deviled eggs are 1 and half eggs. It’s obnoxious, just plain obnoxious that they can’t put a little more food on the plate at the prices they charge.

I went here during the laundry to have a cocktail and some fresh seafoods. It was a sunny and warm day, so I got outside seats. That was wrong. The service was extremely slow. I ordered the cocktail first, but it came out after 20min. Then we ordered the food, it was also served after a very long time. When the food came our table, our drinks were almost done. But I didn’t want to order anymore, because I couldn’t wait anymore. The oyster was fresh, but it’s overpriced as quality, also cocktail was decent.

The wait was about 40 minutes on a Saturday night for two. We were coming here to grab drinks and some charcuterie. We were finally seated after waiting for a while and were seated by the hallway next to the restrooms. We asked our server to see if were able to grab a seat at a table or bar. The hostess was very understanding and kept us in mind when the bar opened up. We ended up ordering the«Rattlesnake» and the«Moonshiner». Both amazing drinks! Recommended for my whiskey lovers and the charcuterie came with three different types of cheeses and four meats. When we sat down at the bar, we weren’t able to resist on ordering some fresh oysters(east & west coast), little neck clams and shrimp cocktail. Good food! But the bartender told me no flash photography. My bad, but I could not resist :(

Frequent hang out spot. Really creative cocktails. My favorite is the alibi… Who knew tequila, vanilla, pinapple and cinnamon go so well together. Love the decour here. The bar shelves are book cases with the librarian latter. Charcuterie plate is great. Sometimes i want to order two.

Small little spot on a quiet corner — didn’t stay for dinner, but great drink selection. Seating wise, seemed a little tight with a limited menu. Look forward to coming back to sit outside during the summer.

Overpriced, and the waitstaff are entitled dicks. There are plenty of great places nearby so go to one of those instead of this one. We had multiple rounds there and the whole time I felt like we were inconveniencing the bartenders. I brushed it off as bitchy Williamsburg service, but as we were leaving one of the«doormen»(aka skinny hipster wearing plaid) scolded us for standing in the doorway. Well sir, how else would we exit the building?

Wow the service here is so bad. All our food arrived before the drinks. Waitress just completely disappeared halfway through and someone else had to step in after seeing us talking for 20 minutes over our completely cleared plates and empty glasses. Good oysters and creative cocktails, but I won’t come back unless I’m feeling especially patient.

Review for drinks only* Came here on somewhat of a whim after a concert in Williamsburg and it was the perfect place to wind down and imbibe in a few delicious cocktails. Chic, modern vibe… semi-upscale setting for Williamsburg, which is why I liked it! Extensive cocktail selection. But be warned: they don’t run cheap. Excellent service, though, and since we came on a cool early Fall evening, they had blankets on the chairs outside for us. A nice little touch. I definitely recommend stopping by! Also: Aziz Ansari filmed a Master of None scene here, so go for that at the very least!

Came here bar was packed told by the host it was full only had outdoor seating with a heater not bad since it was closed in. We waited about 20 mins no service a couple came in and they were sat right away inside meanwhile the host told us we could go in as soon a spot opened totally not cool. We decided to leave since no one seemed to want our business and right before we were leaving host just said i guess it’s a no. Pretty shameful this place needs to learn how to attend to people of all backgrounds and faster service.

Disgusting attitude from the START. The host(male, tall, tan, bald) was so rude to me and my friend. First he asked for our IDS(totally understand) and with an attitude he told us to wait outside and disappeared. When he came back, he directed us to a table in the back, even though we told him from the start that we just wanted to go to the bar(which had plenty of seats available). When we told him that we were just heading to the bar again, he told us that it is not possible. Definitely something shady going on in there. The table we were directed to was not even cleared. Never going again thanks to the host.

Well this place is awesome. I wanted to get drinks after dinner nearby(Sea, don’t recommend it) and I made my date go with me, and it was awesome. Everything you could want, liquor, wine, port, beer, raw bar, meats/cheeses. Had a nice tiny waitress serve use was very helpful in finding what wine we wanted, gave us tastings before choosing, check on us regularly without being pushy, and for a Monday night, this place was busier than expected, The décor is old school wooden English bar with a speakeasy cocktail accents. I was so happy I found this place. I never go out in the neighborhood, but I will now

Cocktails late night. One of the older and more picturesque spots in Brooklyn. The bar stays open late at night and the seafood us always fresh. The bar area us nice but there are more tables and spots available for a conversation. The pictures on the walk are conversation pieces themselves.

Yummy drinks. Popped in for a quick drink before a concert. Its charming place with lots of early 1900 décor and nice leather booths. I sat outside since it was a warm November evening. I ordered the Rattlesnake. Well balance of flavors and definitely still taste the rye whisky. Tried a couple of their east coast oysters, fresh.

Came here after being mistreated at Maison Premier, so happy I did. Bartender with the ponytail and mustache was amazing. Drinks were perfect and he definitely livened up a rather dead Sunday night. Our server, short maybe Asian, super sweet not too bright as my husband joked around and asked for half a bottled beer and it took her a while to come back and say she couldn’t do so. But I swear we were really drunk n she was the cutest most amazing server. Calm spirited much love to her. We will definitely return, possibly only on Sunday’s with this crew!

The Alibi: This cocktail was AMAZING. Not too sweet, not too strong, but strong enough. What impressed me most was that you could actually taste every single flavor that is in the drink. Well-presented too. Smoked Trout– served with cucumber, crème fraîche, and saltines. The fish had a nice smokey flavor and paired well with the crème fraîche and cucumbers. I wished there was some other type of cracker or hard bread served with it other than plain dry saltines. Service was kind of slow but overall nice atmosphere

This is a wonderful bar to enjoy delicious cocktails outside when the weather is nice. There is a row of marble topped tables sitting alongside that sidewalk that are fenced in. It’s great for people watching. If the weather is bad, I still would go though as the inside space is pleasant as well. When you step inside, you feel like you went back in time about 100 years to a classy old bar. The cocktails are interesting and definitely top notch. I had the Violent Femme which was a vodka cocktail with cucumber, dill, and rhubarb bitters. It was herbal and well-balanced. I had another cocktail that had chilies in it that was nice and smokey. My husband had a bourbon based drink that he really enjoyed. We only tried one small bite of food here, but it was really good. It was sardines served with olive oil and pine nuts over a crusty piece of bread. So simple, but so delicious because of the quality of the ingredients. Service was excellent. The waitress knew the drink menu well and we didn’t have to wait long for anything. I also like the fact that they open at 2PM on the weekends. I would come back here for drinks and a quick bite in a heartbeat!

Ahhh, Williamsburg. Came here Friday night to meet friends for oysters and drinks. First, it’s one of them obscure entrances, of course the address is like a residential address connected to a residential building with a residential door… but you have to turn the corner and voila… through a crowd of people, I asked the guy standing by the door, «Um, is this the entrance to Hotel Delmano?» They all turn to look. «Yes it is» he replies and with that I give a wave to my driver(I felt like a teenager again waving to my mom that it was ok for her to leave). Another guy(they all just looked like patrons) asked me for my ID while the other guy stood in front of the door and said, «How many in your party?»(Don’t get nervous, there’s no password) «I don’t know, I’m just meeting people here.» PAUSE. pause… «OK,» he replies and steps aside to open the door… Oh… cool inside, very cool inside actually, lots of adjoining rooms, dark-lit, wood, oyster bar set-up, hot employees… I found my friends in the back, the door guy said, that’s usually where missing parties sit… maybe he didn’t say that by the way, has anyone ever told you, you remind them of Marc Maron? Very comfortable seating, waitress was hot and nice!!! WHAT? OK, so I watched my friends eat(oysters and charcuterie board) while I drank vodka. I watched all these silver platters come out with oysters and crab legs jutting out from the center– I wondered if they tasted fresh… ‘I must come back,’ I thought to myself… we get the bill(only three people ate) — with tip included it was close to $ 300.00… ‘I must come back with someone who will pay for all the crabs I will eat next time…’ — to be cont…

It is a beautiful bar, with baroque décor, well-made drinks and nice menu. I did not get speakeasy vibe from it, tho, more of a very classy lounge — it is easy to find, entrance from side street, and usually buzzing with action. Bar area upfront was packed, but they have several rooms to the side with cozy settings and tables. No wait at all — even it was raining like mad that day. I had Esperanto, since I was on Mezcal kick for a while — infused with peppercorns, with bitters and liquors it was strong and quite impressive. Since we already had dinner that night, only stopped for drinks and chocolates(daily selection, served with different accompaniments, very nicely presented) — but they also offer raw bar, small plates and charcuterie. Loved the feel of the old hotel, the eclectic décor, and most of all, the drinks.
